Adoptions into the Cipher family are rare, but not unheard of. Caesar is the son of BEAUFORT and AFFINE CIPHER (NPC's) and is the youngest littermate of VIGENERE and ATBASH CIPHER. He is long-bodied and lithe, as well as skinny and his fur tends to be unkempt due to malnourishment and mistreatment of the body he posses. He has large ears and a long tail, and has multiple scars across his body: left paw has a scar, given to him by Zimavich; a scar on his side given to him by Charlie; bite-scar from Blue on his right hind leg; tail has a scar from where Delta (the raptor) had previously bit it off in an old body; deep scratch scars on his chest from Delta of Snowbound; chin scar given to him by Trygve; multiple scar wounds on his tail from where Trygve had torn off his tail on an old feline body; bite-scar on the scruff of his neck from Kydobi. INTERACTIONS. Physically easy, mentally medium. Due to being a Dream Demon, Caesar has many mental-related abilities and as such, can usually easily detect when others are trying to get to his mind. PERSONALITY. Caesar is a deceitful, manipulative creature and often results to violence when it comes to... well, anything. He is arrogant and narcissistic, assertive, and isn't afraid of flaunting his power. He is blunt and unsympathetic, careless, and demanding. Caesar is not a loyal type and will betray anybody at the blink of an eye, even if they are considered 'friends'. He is power-hungry and is known for doing anything it takes in order for him to be in a position of power. He is quick to anger and is prone to violent outbursts if his anger gets too high; oftentimes, he will (quite literally) spontaneously combust. The best way to describe him is ENTJ-A.

BELIEFS. In regards to religion, Caesar does not believe in any sort of religion and finds it rather annoying to see others that do. To him, there are no gods that exist (except for himself), and anyone who is a devout believer of their religion deserves to be shown that their 'god' is nothing. But in regards to the world as a whole, Caesar believes he is here to become the ruler of the entire island of Beyond. He thinks of himself as higher than everyone else and will hurt anyone who dares to 'disobey' him. He isn't above capturing, torturing, and getting prisoners and slaves, and will actively encourage it if he feels the need to.

BEHAVIOR. Caesar is not the hard-working type and prefers to lounge around and let his groupmates do activities for him. When not apart of a group, he sticks to himself and usually doesn't align himself with others. He is lazy but when it comes to things he wants, he can be quiet determined to get it. He does not care for others but ironically enough, others' opinions of him does influence how he acts around them. He can get angry and frustrated extremely easily and isn't above hurting others.

Caesar is the son of Affine and Beaufort Cipher, two low-ranking demons living in the Seventh Tier. He was the last born among his siblings, Atbash and Vigenere; therefore, making him the youngest of the three. His family was poor, with his mother being a stay-at-home mom - which was normal for she-cats in his Dimension - and his father being a farmer. Caesar was always a mischievous child, often pulling pranks on his siblings and being a general nuisance to the town. Other than that however, he had a normal life and was loved by his parents. As he and his siblings got older, they started to realize how poor their family was and Vigenere, being the oldest, decided to apply to be in the King's Guard. Caesar did as well, but his request was promptly denied. Vigenere, however, was accepted into the King's Guard, causing Caesar to become jealous of his older brother.

During the time that Vigenere trained in the Guard, Atbash often hung out with Caesar and comforted him whenever he got upset. Eventually she had to start learning from their mother about how to be a "proper wife", even though she didn't want to be married at the time. Beaufort tried to convince Caesar to farm with him, but Caesar found it to be boring and started making his way through town. He made a couple of friends - "rogues", more or less - and they got into all sorts of trouble. Most of it was harmless actions (mostly stealing from other demons), but when the group decided to raid one of the King's Guard's temporary camps in the Seventh Tier. Caesar ran into the Shaman, who recognized him from one of her visions. She screeched at him and proclaimed him as a monster - a creature that was a danger to their society - and promptly got the Guards' attention.

Caesar was brought back to his home, although by now the word of the Shaman was slowly moving through the village. Caesar's parents and Atbash didn't believe the rumors, though it was clear that many of the citizens of the Seventh Tier did. Caesar was shunned by the community, often chased off or screamed at whenever he went into town. Atbash was once again by her brother's side, comforting him and telling him that this would pass eventually. Although warmed by her actions, Caesar couldn't help but feel angry at the Shaman and sought her out - by personally going to where she was placed at in the First Tier. He snuck into her outpost and attacked her, though she easily defeated him and called for the Guards.

Unfortunately due to being caught, Vigenere was kicked out of the Guard and, along with Caesar, thrown into the dungeons for two nights while the King decided what to do with them. The two brothers verbally fought each other and were eventually escorted back to their home in the Seventh Tier... where the Guard declared the entire family as outlaws. They had one day to pack their shit and leave to the edges of the Universe, or else they were to be killed under the King's orders. Of course, his family obeyed and they went off towards the Eighth Tier - the outlands, so to speak. Caesar trailed behind his family, fuming, and hardly heard anything they said as they scolded him.

Feeling like an outcast to his family, Caesar started searching elsewhere for company. Atbash still talked to him as much as she could, though Caesar was well-aware of how she seemed uncomfortable with his words. He went off in search of other outlaws and befriended them, and they quickly decided to join his side, having heard the rumors of what he was capable of. There were a couple of times when they tried to test him, of course, and Caesar immediately put them back in their place. He enjoyed the sense of power he had here and began to wonder what it would be like as King - after all, the King had control of the entire Universe.

During his time with the rogues, Vigenere was still meeting his fiancé, Athena, secretly. Although Atbash and their parents knew of Athena coming around, Caesar and her family did not know what she was doing. Upon finding out that Athena talked to her father, the King, about bringing the Cipher family back, Caesar learned that she was able to convince him but with a price... He could not return. Caesar watched in rage as Athena and Vigenere became overly happy at this news, as well as their family. Of course, nobody would tell him why they were so happy and simply told him that they were getting used to life being exiled, which in turn only made Caesar even more angrier at the news.
The next time as Vigenere met Athena once more, Caesar followed them and just as Vigenere was about to propose to her, he leapt from his hiding spot and gripped her throat. Vigenere tried fighting him off and stopped as he realized Caesar had ahold of her throat and was tearing at it. Caesar never let go and even when Vigenere stopped fighting, he jerked back and ripped her throat open. Vigenere could only stare in disbelief and grief at what his younger brother had done before lashing out at him. Suffice to say, Caesar knew better than to run off and return home - so he went back to the rogues.

Months passed and the group were preparing to finally raid the castle. Caesar let the raid, though was stopped by his siblings. Vigenere was angry while Atbash clearly looked like she was hurt. It made sense; Caesar vented to her about his plans and he promised her that he wouldn't be doing this. Enraged by them stopping him, Caesar snapped that she had promised him that she would always been there for him and after a brief fight with Vigenere, he shoved his way through and made his way towards the castle. The plan was simple: he was going to murder the King and the rogues were going to go to every corner of the Universe and set it ablaze - eventually causing the entire Dimension to collapse in on itself.

And Caesar succeeded. He and the King had fought and eventually, Caesar gained the upper hand and impaled the King on a spear of ice that he (the King) had made previously. By now, there was little time left to escape the Dimension and Caesar fled, running through the different communities and watching them burn. However, Caesar did not realize that his parents were trapped inside their den, the flames lapping at them and the den close to collapsing itself. Caesar watched as Atbash flung herself through the flames, trying to convince their parents to leave instead of her (of course his siblings knew they could escape, that was Caesar's flaw in telling Atbash what would happen - but why didn't they do it before?). Vigenere pulled her out of the burning den, casting a glare at Caesar, before he eventually mustered the strength to escape the Dimension.

Caesar caught one last glance at his parents - who returned his gaze full of pain, both because of the wounds they got and in not being there for their son, who was clearly distraught over everything that was happening to him. They weren't angry, they weren't sad, they were just hurt. That gaze haunts Caesar to this day and he escaped the Dimension minutes before it collapsed, killing anyone who was stuck inside it.

After a short spat with his siblings, Caesar eventually traveled to Earth in Dimension ThreeX, landing in the lands of the Beyond. On May 3, 2018, Caesar joined The Typhoon, having heard rumors of the pirates living in the area. Soon after his joining, Caesar experienced the Entrance Ritual on May 7, 2018, which is a customary tradition of The Typhoon, although it wasn't mandatory. Eventually, Caesar was promoted to Striker on May 27, 2018, and then promoted to Privateer on June 3, 2018, and was eventually promoted to Officer on June 18, 2018. He eventually learned that Atbash was on the same Earth as him on an unknown date, and learned that she lived in Snowbound. Despite The Typhoon being allies with Snowbound, Caesar attacked her on June 19, 2018. A day after, Jacob, the leader of Snowbound, visited The Typhoon and confronted Caesar on June 20, 2018. Pincher, the leader of The Typhoon, soon decided that Caesar would be temporarily demoted until he made up for what he had done. On June 22, 2018, Caesar learned that his brother was also on the same Earth, living in Tanglewood. On the same date, albeit a couple hours later, a pack of feral raptors appeared in The Typhoon's territory and Caesar attempted to chase them out, though he was quickly killed by Delta, causing him to be forced into a seagull body. On July 1, 2018, he got fire elementals back and Roxanne gave him a blade, and he possessed a new feline body on the same day, a couple hours prior to the gift Roxanne gave him.

On July 16, 2018, Caesar passed out on the beach and found a sickle by his paws when he woke up. On the same date, although a couple hours later, Caesar captured Pele of The Ascendants and started to torture her, his first capture and torture since coming to Earth and joining The Typhoon. On July 23, 2018, Caesar attacked Atbash for the second time, although this time it was a Weekly Task rather than his own doing. On July 24, 2018, he captured Thea of The Ascendants, his second capture.

On July 24, 2018, he got two injuries from Delta/Dimitri, prior to capturing Thea. His left hind leg was broken here and he gained scratch wounds on his side here. On July 29, 2018, Caesar received a small wound on his chest from Carolina. On July 30, 2018, Caesar got a black crown from Goldenluxury; he keeps it in his room.

On August 1, 2018, Caesar was captured for the first time, by Carolina of The Ascendants. On August 5, 2018, he was killed by her due to not answering questions. Since his feline body was killed, he got stuck in a mongoose body on August 7, 2018, however soon returned to his normal feline body on August 8, 2018. On the same day, albeit a couple hours later, Caesar begun to feel fear and was unable to hide from his Crewmates.

On September 16, 2018, Caesar gave Edvwdug (Edgar) to Beck. On September 17, 2018, he visited The Rosebloods for the first time as an Ambassador from The Typhoon. Later that day, after returning to The Typhoon, Caesar found out that his Electric Elementals returned.

On October 12, 2018, he was visited by two spirits pretending to be Vigenere and Atbash. On October 29, 2018, he has a nightmare he is unable to control. On November 3, 2018, Caesar set fire to Snowbound, thus forcing the tribe to flee and disband. On November 7, 2018, he was promoted to Head Officer. During that same meeting, Caesar spoke out against Bakugou's promotion, soon challenging Bakugou to a fight. However, upon Pincher's response, Caesar snapped and attempted to attack the Captain.

On November 12, 2018, he attempted to attack Stella. On November 13, 2018, he was exiled from The Typhoon. The same day, he went off and joined The Pitt.

On January 13, 2020, after disappearing for a while, Caesar finally returned to The Pitt. On March 23, 2020, Caesar lost part of his tail in a fight with Trygve. On April 8, 2020, Caesar completely lost his tail (among other wounds) after Trygve returned to The Pitt. On April 29, 2020, he was exiled from The Pitt and soon joined The Elysium after fleeing.

On May 11, 2020, during the Elysium's Stellar Collision Festival, Caesar found out that Vigenere is still apart of Tanglewood. Later on that day, Caesar attacked Warringkingdoms, planning on taking over The Elysium, however Goldenluxury stopped him. He ripped out his eye in his strawberry tiger body after an arrow got stuck in it, but Goldie soon killed the body, forcing Caesar to flee from The Elysium.

On May 21, 2020, Cooper announced that he was exiled from The Elysium. Knowing that he wouldn't be allowed back after attacking Warringkingdoms, Caesar attempted to join Tanglewood and was denied his request to join on June 5, 2020.

On August 23, 2020, Caesar joined the Coalition of the Condemned and found a pet snake on August 30, 2020. On September 20, 2020, Caesar gets temporarily paralyzed and a burn wound on his back from where Ninazu hits him with a flaming coconut and gets another burn wound from her on his leg on September 22, 2020. On October 30, 2020, Caesar was there when Vigenere got captured by Stryker.

On January 3, 2021, Caesar attempted to steal Vigenere's crown, which had previously been taken by Stryker. During this attempt, however, he was killed by Ninazu. On January 10, 2021, he joined The Palm Glades, but ended up being exiled on January 25, 2021.

On March 14, 2021Caesar attempted to attack Goldenluxury Roux and ended up manipulating some of her memories, but fled before any Typhooners could see him. On March 16, 2021, he attacked Atbash but once again fled before anyone could catch him. On March 19, 2021, Caesar attacked Mariana and fled once more. The next day, Roan found him lurking in the jungle, and Caesar had his eye ripped out by Roan.

PERSONALITY. Vigenere is a stoic character and often takes jokes very literally. He is adaptable but cautious and prefers to be on the lookout for things. He tends to be very compulsive and opinionated, as well as strong-willed; it takes a lot to change his mind once he has decided on something. Vigenere is protective of the ones he cares about and will lay down his life to save the ones who he loves most. The best way to describe Vigenere is ISFJ-A.

His family was poor, with his mother being a stay-at-home mom, and his father being a farmer. Vigenere had an average life as a child and was more modest in personality than Caesar, who often liked to trick and play pranks on his family. Vigenere's father told him and Caesar about the tales of the King's Guard when they were younger and Vigenere made it a goal to get himself into the Guard and save their family from their poverty. He was very close with his father and often helped out on the farm, helping his father pick plants to sell at the market.

One day, the King's Guard visited the Cipher home and stated that Vigenere had been selected to join them. Vigenere recalled that Caesar had also put his application is (as males are required to do), but his brother was not chosen along with him. Although he felt sorry for his littermate, Vigenere knew that Caesar's troublemaking personality is what cost him the position. The Guard quickly made Vigenere say farewell to his family and brought him to the Third Tier. Of course, he had to go through training before he was even allowed to properly do any sort of duties for the Guard. Vigenere's training is what caused his scars, and he wears them with pride.

While taking on a message to the King, Vigenere met Athena, the King's daughter. She quickly fell in love with him and Vigenere tried to take any opportunity he could to get missions to the King's castle. He was overjoyed when Athena started going out with him, and she told him that her father approved of them. However, when rumors of his brother started to come to light, the King started to be wary of Vigenere and forbade Athena from talking to him. Eventually, Caesar attempted to attack the Shaman, causing Vigenere to be dismissed from the Guard and the Cipher family exiled. Vigenere and Caesar verbally fought each other while their parents scolded them, but he had to accept what had happened.

Athena came to visit the Cipher family one day after they were exiled, with a message from her father to break up with Vigenere. Of course, she did not and told Vigenere that she was going to secretly meet him from then on until she convinced her father to release their crimes. It took a month, but eventually Athena was able to convince the King to let the Cipher family - except for Caesar - to return to the Seventh Tier with their 'crimes' forgiven. Vigenere was overjoyed to be with the love of his life again, and after she left, he went in search of a ring to purpose to her.

Just as she accepted his purposal, however, Athena was killed just before him. Vigenere had tried to stop Caesar but when he realized that his brother had her by her throat, he stopped. Caesar tore open her throat, instantly ending her life, and Vigenere lashed out at him until he ran off. He was heartbroken and wailed, before he finally got the courage to bring her to her father. The King was, understandably, enraged and hardly gave Vigenere any time to explain what had happened. The King spared Vigenere's life but told him to never return, declaring that the Cipher family was no longer welcome in any of his Tiers.

After months passed and rumors of Caesar leading a raid on the King started to spread around. Enraged, Vigenere decided to confront his brother and was originally going to end his brother's life, but when Atbash stated that she wanted to help, he knew that he couldn't do it. Both of them tried to stop Caesar, but he only shrugged at their words and shoved past them. Vigenere chased after him but lost him. When Vigenere found him again, the King was already slaughtered and Caesar wore the crown on his head. Vigenere tried attacking Caesar but when he saw the flames that littered the dimension, he realized with horror that he had left Atbash by herself.

Vigenere ran back home as quickly as he could, finding Atbash just in time as she lept through the flames in an attempt to be with their parents. He called out to her, pleading with her to come back - before he got a telepathic message from their father to save Atbash. They had already accepted their fate, and it was only a matter of time before the dimension as a whole collapsed. Vigenere grit his teeth and plunged into the fire, grabbing ahold of Atbash with his claws and pulling her away from the den. Just as the Dimension collapsed, Caesar leapt at them and teleported them out of the Dimension.

Caesar gave them a speech about allying themselves with him and Vigenere could only verbally lash out at him. At this point, he was too exhausted by his brother's antics to actually fight him and Caesar fled when Vigenere gave a bluff charge. After taking a moment to tend to his and Atbash's wounds, Vigenere convinced his sister to go to Earth, but warned her that he wanted to be alone. She was understandably heartbroken with this and he told her that if she came to Earth, he would think about her staying with him. However, he had lied and once they arrived at Earth, Vigenere sent Atbash off on her own.

On May 4, 2018, Vigenere joined Tanglewood. On May 27, 2018, he received a gift from Fenrisulfur, which was some reinforced claws so he could fight off the local alligators that lived in Tanglewood, and was promoted to Chaser on June 3, 2018. On June 7, 2018, he had a breakdown, remembering his past with Athena and Dimension FiveX, however his groupmates quickly came to his aid and relaxed him. On June 17, 2018, Vigenere was promoted to Firebrand. On June 21, 2018, he learned that Caesar was on the same Earth as him. Fearing for Atbash's life, he and Morgan started on a journey to go find her on June 28, 2018. On July 1, 2018, Vigenere was promoted to Proxy and got the title of Gatorbait.

On June 5, 2018, Vigenere discovered that he got his electric elementals back. On June 14, 2018, he was promoted to Regent. Although there is no official date since the thread was left unfinished, Vigenere received a mask from the Mask Vigil that he wears in battle.

On July 23, 2018, Vigenere saw Atbash for the first time since arriving to Tanglewood, and he warned her of Caesar's whereabouts. However, she told him that Caesar had already attacked her prior to his visit. He and Morgan stayed the night at Snowbound, and on July 26, 2018, as they here heading back to Tanglewood, Morgan admitted his feelings to Vigenere. To which Vigenere admitted them back and asked Morgan out. On July 27, 2018, Vigenere and Morgan start dating.

On August 11, 2018, the Regent rank was changed to Captain of the Guard, making Vigenere a Captain. On August 18, 2018, he was given the title of Good Noodle. On October 4, 2018, he saw ghosts for the first time.

On October 7, 2018, Vigenere saw Atbash's new scars for the first time. On October 8, 2018, he saw Athena's spirit and apologized to her for not being able to protect her. And she forgave him.

After leaving Tanglewood in search of his sister, Atbash, Vigenere finally returned to Tanglewood with his son, Alan. On May 10, 2020, Tanglewood experienced tremors due to The Typhoon's meteor crash, causing Vigenere to break his front paw.

On June 25, 2020, Vigenere stepped up to General of Tanglewood, after being approached by Leroy. On July 16, 2020, Vigenere changed the rank of General to Luminary, among other changes in the ranking system of Tanglewood. On August 9, 2020, he was captured by Silent but was returned to Tanglewood on August 23, 2020, after Goldenluxury saved him. On September 17, 2020, Vigenere and Morgan broke up.

On October 29, 2020, Vigenere was captured by Stryker, the Kingpin of Coalition of the Condemned. On December 8, 2020, his birth body was killed by Stryker.
