Re: From the Devil he RAN - Mudslide aftermath and headcount - angelembrace - 03-21-2021 "they flip the siren, hit the lights" ✭ ── While he almost lost his balance when Hydro headbutted him, Angel was glad to see his brothers were alive and not buried under mud and debris. He was even relieved to see Asmodeus, even if any other time he thought his big brother was a brute. Still, didn’t mean he wanted Asmodeus to die. He couldn’t help but frown at Hydro’s comment about their mother, but pushed it into the back of his mind when Jormungand called them over.
He scooted his little body over to shelter under the melanistic jaguar, feeling that maybe Aphra wasn’t exactly a good source of comfort given the distant attitude she seemed to have, even considering the mudslide. Re: From the Devil he RAN - Mudslide aftermath and headcount - ASMODEUS DI-ANGELO - 03-22-2021 "i am here to serve" ✭ asmodeus ── raven flinched his optics briefly flashing after he frowned at asmodeus, and the wolf turned away with a surprising quickness before asmodeus could even thank him. his father's coarse tongue stroked his fur, causing some of it to stand up funny, and he gently batted the panthers' nose to the side. "dad stooooop, you're messing up my fur!" his slightly smaller brother hydrostatic rushed over, pressing himself against jormungand and asked as if he was okay. after confirming the other was fine, as nodded. "just a little bit scared. i need to thank ravenwood though since he carried me out." his eyes briefly lingered on hydrostatics', then darted to angelembraces and then to ravenwood. should the other turn around he would offer a genuine smile.

Not after seeing how she completely ignored their children after a fucking mudslide that could've killed every one of his cubs. He could understand how Inferno was behaving, if Aphra was her mother. He looked up at Ravenwood and murmured a low "Thank you for saving him." before feeling Asmodeus push his nose away with a paw. His other two sons rushed over at his beckoning, Hydro coming to a stop against his underbelly and Angel following close after. "Oh kids, are you okay? Hydro, As, Angel, are you guys okay?"He gently scooted Asmodeus slightly to the side before lying down like how he normally would when he would sunbathe, or how Aphra would when she would feed them, then allowing his tail to curve to pull their shivering bodies closer to him. He began licking their fur to get rid of the dust and any mud that clung onto it, making soothing humming noises in the back of his throat to calm them down. They most likely were in shock, he should have been there for them. It was his fault. He knew the espionage would be okay - Sojourn was the biggest concern. She wasn't awake. Sleeping. Passed out. Or worse. Approaching her body he stood over, watching her closely. At this point he trembled with anger. He held back a growl, a scream. Only his trembling body displayed the deluge of anger, rage, that bubbled violently in him. They should have been prepared. Cold stone lined his voice, raising above the crowd. "Aphra has already stepped forward to help look at the damage. I would like two others to do so as well. I suggest we set up a new camp - not here, but perhaps on the sanctuary island. If I am to help sufficiently I need a sufficient supply of Herbs." He was open to other suggestions, though. Slowly the trembling stopped and he sat down, straining to hear something among the screams in his mind. The falling of sand in an hour glass. Aphra was clearly getting inpatient with the waiting, her tail lashing once Hydrostatic left to be his with father. Good. She huffed mentally as the other two joined Hydro by Jormungand's side. The she-cat rose to her paws and started to walk off, clearly irritated by something. "Whomever wants to come can catch up." She called out as she left. "I don't have the patience to wait." //Feel free to follow her in this thread![glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:・゚[/glow] Re: From the Devil he RAN - Mudslide aftermath and headcount - RAVENWOOD - 03-24-2021

Much of what happened around him went in one ear and out the other. His eyes were intent on his paws, grimacing gently in the wake of the events playing in his mind. However, hearing someone sit down near him made his head left. Ravenwood looked towards Asmodeus with a twitch of his ear. He offered him a half cocked smile in return- but it was weak. Something left his heart. However, as Byr spoke, Raven's eyes shifted between him and Aphra. With a sigh, Ravenwood pushed to his paws. "Find me another time, Asmodeus. I have to go help out, okay?" He mumbled in response to the child, before heading off after the mother. SPEECH FLASHBACK — Reggan
Re: From the Devil he RAN - Mudslide aftermath and headcount - ASMODEUS DI-ANGELO - 03-25-2021 "i am here to serve" ✭ asmodeus ── ravenwood seemed stressed, sad somehow as he moved away from asmodeus. blue optics lingered on inferno as she left after her mother aphra, then came to a rest on raven as he followed suit with a, "find me another time." byriath said they needed herbs, he padded over. [color=#97FFFF]"i can help find some if you need?" a quiet offer before feeling eyes on him. he looked over, the piercing orbs of his father were boring holes into his own. he knew jormungand was worried and wanted to be safe, so he returned his gaze to byriath in front of him.

Re: From the Devil he RAN - Mudslide aftermath and headcount - Romulus - 03-25-2021 His concern was obvious for the rest of the wanderers, but his priorities remained on his family. More specifically, his sister. After manipulating what debris he could, Romulus met up with the rest of the group. His gaze found his sister's blue body. Paws softly traversed over while his pastel hues looked down at her, slowly watching her chest rise and fall. He chose not to acknowledge Jormungand in the moment. Romulus' grumbled lowly to himself, only to look back up towards Bryiath. Aphra was handling damage patrol, but they needed a home and herbs in the meantime. The lion, considering his abilities, chose to step forward. A paw reached out towards the medic with his pad facing towards the ground. Underneath, a small plant began to sprout. "Let me assist you with herbs." They were going to have to do manual labor for things like cobwebs or honey, but this was a start. The lion was going to wear himself down spawning so many plants, perhaps ending up like his sister in the end, but he hoped he could manage nonetheless. "I'll set up a temporary area," came his response. Somewhere to stay and heal for now. "If anyone else has earth or water manipulation, I would appreciate your assistance." An interior designer was an option too, but he wasn't worried about making the place feel homey. For a moment, his eyes drifted back down to Sojourn. Romulus paused. Sojourn's slow breaths gripped at his attention. Her formerly chaotic aura had been reduced to a soft blue. Uncharacteristically, it swayed elegantly with the spiritual world's winds and soft hues encircled her body, highlighting her finest aspects. Some emanation floated towards her bloodshed. They danced among the crimson liquid and her wounds, awaiting for assistance, only to begin pulling away. The beautiful sight, invisible to the rest, was unnerving. This was unlike his sister. Slitted pupils narrowed as her soul began to float away from her chest and out of her body. A paw fumbled forward, trying to push down the translucent being, only to go straight through it. A snarl ripped through Romulus' maw. "She's gone," he growled underneath his breath. Death reigned in the Coalition of the Condemned for the Malus family. His mother, father, and now his sister. His teeth grinded together. The fur on his scruff raised, frustration beginning arise. Now what... Unbeknownst to the lion and the rest of the wanderers though, she had possession and was elsewhere. // posted home building here! |
