Re: falling to pieces - open; ambassador - rhosmari - 02-09-2021

Enemies? She was personally perplexed by this and she didn't understand what she was talking about. Not in the slightest. "Apparently it is not what Tanglewood's current leader thinks. Otherwise Tanglewood would not be housing and treating Sweeney or Atticus for their wounds." The lioness spoke was she tilted her head a bit, confusion clearly in her gaze before she had no choice but to look over to the hybrid cat that spoke again. Once more his words were biting and mocking of her intelligence. Even as she stood there as a potential diplomat to help ease the tensions. He had the nerve to continue his unnecessary words. Her eyes narrowedabut, slowly flames began to crawl and grow from her mane to her shoulder blades. Her jaws clenched as he threatened her and she was not about to sit here and keep having to put up with his mouth. If he wanted a shouting contest then he would surely have one. "If he would just shut his mouth then maybe he would begin to understand his own idiocy. She is not speaking to him. She is speaking to his leader. His Ardent who asked her a question and she was answering his question!" Her words were scathing as she spoke, rolling growls leaving her throat as she stared down at the cat.

"It would be wise that he shuts his mouth and let's the upper positions finish their conversation instead of acting like a croc's shit." Turning her gaze away for a fleeting moment she would look at Gael before her eyes immediately snapped back to Dante, daring him to try that threat he worked so hard on making seem scary. The woman had fought things much more deadly than he could ever be.

The Ardent nearly sighed, growing wary of the conversation -- he saw no reason to agitate the Tangler, but he did not wish to invite misguided notions of friendship either.  Regardless, his hazel eyes grew narrowed in irritation.  Petty mockery spoke lowly of maturity.

"Enough. Trading petty insults make fools of you both."

He tilted his head towards his daughter as she spoke, firmly against the idea.  Aurum truly wants this?  I find that hard to believe.  In the end, he held little care for the new luminary -- the lion had left Aine countless nightmares in the wake of 'righteous' fury.  His brows raised briefly, withholding a cold scoff at Elsweyr's defense. "While I am grateful for the care Tanglewood is providing our youth, we all know it is due to familial connection -- Atticus is the son of your healer, after all."

"It would be cruel to dismiss youth whose minds have been torn asunder, no matter where they are from.  I would hardly deem it as proof of friendship." He flicked his ear dismissively, shaking his head -- the same leader offering kindness to Sweeny and Atticus had needless Pittian blood on his paws.  Gael maintained politeness with the luminary for political purposes, not personal interest.

"I can hold an open forum to discuss the matter in more length, but I do not my believe the majority of my clanmates wish for an ambassador.  And I am not interested in forcing upon them an agreement that would leave them uncomfortable."

"If you must learn something of the Pitt, it is that we operate on our own," he concluded at length.  "I will ask that you respect our traditions of solitude.  You may tell Aurum the Pitt will consider the offer as a group, and if our decision changes, I shall send word."

Alright, you fucking bitch! Dante didn't say his thoughts out loud, not wanting to give Elsweyr a warning that he was about to attack, though the way his muscles tensed up may have revealed his intentions. Gael's words hardly hit his ears in time before Dante tried to launch himself at [member=16541]ELSWEYR[/member] , his teeth bared in a snarl and his wings flaring out in an attempt to make himself look bigger than he actually was. Regardless if he was able to successfully knock the Tangler over, the hybrid lashed out with a paw, trying to rake ELSWEYR with his claws.

Gael was speaking, he could tell, but the Ardent's words were muffled in his mind. Right now, all Dante was focused on was their Tanglewood visitor.[glow=COLOR,1,400]✧*:・゚[/glow]

Aurum.  She didn't trust Aurum.  Couldn't.  Wouldn't.  Remembered too well.  Fire and rage.  So what they were nice to Atticus and Sweeny?  She was nice to anyone injured too.  It didn't change anything.  And Atticus was family.  Who ignored hurt family?  She shook her head.

Shook her head then bristled, wings stretching out in alarm.  "Dante!"  What part of truce was hard to understand?  She may not like Tanglewood either but... With the frost they didn't need fighting to worry about.  She didn't want to lose anyone to another war.  Not again.

With flattened ears, the Fleshweaver attempted to yank [member=1391]DANTE NORTHWEST.[/member] away from Elsywyr with grips of sand, desperation in her hazel hues.  Head ringing.  "I-I don't want to waste my supplies on needless fighting.  You-you're both wasting your time throwing insults at each other, it's dumb.  B-be the bigger person, 'an ignore them."

Re: falling to pieces - open; ambassador - rhosmari - 02-11-2021

The woman had decided here and now that she didn't like the Pitt. The leader pulled her into the altercation as if she had started it. She had only decided to defend herself when the Ardent hadn't tried to day anything from the very beginning. Her first visit had been met with insults and he was perfectly fine and happy to let that stand and now she was here again and being insulted once more. The deputy of Tanglewood and he didn't seem to care until she had decided to defend herself on the matter. Her pelt bristled and she almost blocked out everything that he had to say. Family ties did not make someone immune to the conflict of groups and she was going to talk to Aurum about that. They shouldn't have special treatment because of it. If they said it was only because of that then she would rectify it. Or at least she was going to. She was going to turn away without a single word when she saw the other feline's  body tense up. The fire spread lower, down the spine of her back as she shifted gears.

Just like with so many battles she was ready for the fight that was flung at her. As his body collided with her own she was knocked off balance but not onto the ground, stumbling as claws racked against her leg. She had had enough! Fire lick and crawled along her body in rage as she suddenly moved, aiming to snap her jaws on his leg and jerk him to the ground. If that worked she would lift a paw and aim to ignite it before trying to slam her claws against his chest and raze his flesh and fur, filling the air with smell of the burning of [member=1391]DANTE NORTHWEST.[/member] own body. "KEEP AWAY FROM HER!"

Re: falling to pieces - open; ambassador - Kold - 02-11-2021

I had a dream, I got everything I wanted.
But when I wake up, I see, You with Me.
Peace could only be for so long before immaturity caused it to crumble. Kold snarled, watching the truce become threatened by stupidity and she forced the fire within her away and slammed her paws down, teeth bared as she demanded, "That is enough! Was there not a truce? Children, absolute children, the two of you." She huffed. Sending a gust of air to separate [member=1391]DANTE NORTHWEST.[/member] and [member=16541]ELSWEYR[/member]

Turning her gaze to Elsweyr, something shifted within the Marauder and she inched closer. "you have had your audience and answer. Leave. Before both your stupidity and his cause meaningless bloodshed." She felt fire flicker past her teeth as she spoke but kept it to just that.

There were words spoken, most definitely, but Dante paid no mind to them. The hybrid grit his teeth as he felt sand crawling up his legs and he batted his wings, trying to fight back Aine's sand-manipulation as much as he could. This so-called truce was a piece of bullshit and Gael knew it; The Pitt was a warbound group for a reason and frankly, he didn't care much for the other groups nor the reason behind why there was a truce in the first place. The Pitt had been founded on being an aggressive group and the hybrid found it frustrating that now, everyone seemed to act like they were friends.

The Typhoon allowed their kids to travel willy-nilly to here and hell, one of them actually joined The Pitt. Dante wasn't particularly fond of Trygve joining in the first place but had bitten his tongue and let it slide; the kid proved himself to The Pitt. But it meant that his family thought it was fine to visit him and that wasn't acceptable in Dante's mind. He was tired of this group being walked over.

Just as Kold's attempt to separate them came, Elsweyr attempted her own retaliation at the same time. The gust managed to pull Dante back slightly, though [member=16541]ELSWEYR[/member] 's jaws still gripped his own paw and she jerked him forward, though as she did so, Dante tried to use the momentum to headbutt her. The Tangler's flaming paw still came in contact though, with Dante gritting his teeth as he felt the flames burn his fur and skin - yeeah, that was gonna leave a mark for a while.[glow=COLOR,1,400]✧*:・゚[/glow]

Re: falling to pieces - open; ambassador - rhosmari - 02-11-2021

She ignored them. Save for the one that was threatening her with real pain, real aggressions. Her eyes widened a bit as she felt his head collide with her own and she allowed a snarl to leave her throat as pain flared, black dots blossoming and a ringing began in her ear. Dizziness tried to make her stay and yet she forced herself to stand tall. To keep her concentration on the attacker. Her claws flashed out right after his headbutt and she aimed to gorge into his side, to tear the flesh deeply, teeth aiming to dig into the side of his face before she was suddenly forced to disengage. Wind pushed and shoved, words being whispered against her ears. Against a raging inferno that didn't want to hear it. How was this her fault? He had attacked her first and she was not going to sit there and allow for him to hurt her with no self defense. But she was being blamed for this, being called stupid while moments before her intelligence was being stood up for by the same being. Liars. They were liars.

Her eyes blazed with anger but she was done, gashes covered her leg, blood dripping and her maw tasted of red. The fire on her body had spread and encompassed much of her but she was done here. With her head beginning to swim she turned away to leave. She wouldn't be back. There would be no option for any sort of diplomatic peace now.

Of course when his headbutt connected, Dante felt the effects of it himself. His ears rang, much more than before, his head pounding and dark spots flickering in his vision. If he could hear Elsweyr's thoughts on how it wasn't her fault, he would probably snap back at her that she did taunt him - though of course, he was the reason why she taunted in the first place. But alas, Dante had no such ability.

Elsweyr's teeth and claws dug into him but before he had a chance to do anything else, she was ripped away from him. Skin tore from where her claws had been, blood dripping from the wound, though Dante only grunted and grit his teeth and seemed to pay no mind to the burning sensation that he felt all over his body.

As Elsweyr turned to whip around and leave, Dante once again lashed out with his uninjured arm, trying to catch [b][member=16541]ELSWEYR[/member] 's leg as she ran with his claws[/b].

Re: falling to pieces - open; ambassador - rhosmari - 02-11-2021

She was trying to get away, to leave this forsaken desert behind and just go back home. There was no reason for her to stick around, she had not received her answer from the leader. The conversation had not even begun to end as he had been asking her question she had been trying to answer. But it had all been ended rather quickly when one of them had attacked her. She was never coming back here unless it was to meet them with her own claws in vengeance for how they had treated her to begin with. Her paws pressed heavily against the sands as she stumbled, nausea welling up in her stomach before sudden and deep pain stuck against her back leg. A yowl of pain let her throat as blood splattered against the sands from the wound and she quickly retaliated. A sudden and strong kick from her uninjured hindleg aimed to suddenly strike [member=1391]DANTE NORTHWEST.[/member] squarely in the face with enough force to potentially break his nose. Though she didn't look back as she raced off away from this hellhole. Not even caring where she was going, all she cared about was that she made it back home.
