The ice demon walked seamlessly after both Ninazu and Sojourn, ears tipped in ice and his four eyes analyzing the groups that had gathered. He glanced at Rhine, then to Roxanne, then to Aurum, paying no mind to Gael. He truly wondered if anyone would recognize his posture, the way he carried himself. But he doubted it - he wasn't very impactful with the other groups.
He sat down petitely, tail quietly coiling around him. He stared at the dried blood at the roots of the tree, unable to hide the smile of satisfaction, the sick smile of satisfaction he had when he watched hell unfold. MORTAL KINGS ARE RULING CASTLES, WELCOME TO MY WORLD OF FUN! — Reggan

In step behind Captain Roxanne, the ocelot followed at her heels. Her smaller eyes narrowed when she spotted to three Condemened animals, and she licked her lips as she tried to keep herself calm. The battle—and the plundered temple—had a struck a nerve, especially when she’d assumed the crumbled empire wouldn’t dare show their faces for at least a month.

Her tail lashed as she sat next to her sister, forked tail lashing before it curled tight around her paws. She glanced at Aurum, out of the desire to look anywhere but at the Condemned, and nodded to him and the shadow reaper near him. “I’m sorry for your loss. While I wasn’t terribly close to Vigenere, he was a friend.” It’s a shame what happened to him. What the foolish violence caused. But she let all that remain unsaid. Her jaw clenched when Ninazu spoke, and a grimace fixed itself on her face. Rosemary tried to think of a clever quip, but she was never one for comebacks and insults. With a glance at Roxanne, she flashed her eyes, waiting to see how these two new leaders butted heads. PEACEFALL peace comes at dawn, but yours comes at night
Re: MONTHLY MEETING [ JANUARY 2021 ] - METEOR - 01-08-2021
The leggy adolescent slunk in after Rhinestonestar, his three tails puffed up and lashing behind him. Why any of them wanted to meet “neutrally” after the giant battle was beyond him. He sat next to his adopted father with a sneeze. He’d only come along because the serval did, and it showed by how he ignored the animals present, as if they’d have such an easy time sliding their eyes over his vaporwave mess of a pelt as he did theirs. The centurion would’ve preferred everyone in the Palm Glades stay the fuck out of politics for a while, since none of the other groups had any reason to tolerate them. They’d taken food from the Tanglewoods, raided the Typhoon, and betrayed the Coalition; the only group here without a bone to pick with the beach himbos were the Pitt, which weren’t exactly known for their kindness. After a second sneeze, he grumbled to himself and pawed at his muzzle. At least that action hid his frown as the Coalition arrived—minus Stryker, as expected, but Quasar hated the talkative bastard anyway. But he looked at the Tanglewoods, frown deepening, and he hoped the swamp outcasts paid more attention to their previous conquerors than him. The Coalition didn’t have a reason to attack him in general, at least, but those two? Yeah, he thought it’d be more likely to die here because of them than the Coalition, even if one of the two had a fucking Utahraptor and two icy bitches. Shieeet, he should’ve stayed home. Re: MONTHLY MEETING [ JANUARY 2021 ] - ROXANNE R. - 01-08-2021 Soon enough Gael and Aurum arrived at the meeting place, her ears twitching lightly as she gave the vulpine a curt nod only to shift her mismatched gaze over to Aurum feeling her whiskers twitch. She was a bit uneasy about Aurum being leader after his reckless actions within the last meeting but she knew that there was more to him than some big brute, she would smile with exhausted nodding slowly as she spoke "Congratulations Aurum... Just don't act stupid anymore." Although, Roxanne couldn't say much given how reckless she could be though the Captain would be sure to make smarter choices especially after the war. "I guess we've both became the head honchos of our group... I'm Captain Roxanne now," She would let them take that information and let it sink in that moment, a soft sigh leaving her parted maw as she glanced over at Rhinestonestar with an uncaring eye and flick one of her ears. "Hello there." It was short and dry response but, at least, she didn't ignore the individual which would've been her first decision to do. Her eyes wouldn't even fixate on the serval, no, it was survey the meeting place and locked onto Ninazu as she approached the scene as a big raptor. Letting out a snort, Roxanne would nudge her sister Rosemary as a smirk formed itself on her face, the draconic feline would rise to her paws standing her ground "Glad to see you had the balls to show up, Ninass." Her fluffy tail would lash to the sides hearing as the other spoke and then hearing that Stryker had yet to return made a shit eating grin appear on her maw along with a mischievous twinkle in her mismatched eyes "Wow, ain't that a kick in the nuts. I'd say I feel bad but really I'm growing fond of the small decoration that I've added onto my gates, I'd say you should pay him a visit but you aren't exactly welcomed om my beaches and well, you'd be killed on sight, toots." After, she said that would she sit down once more not seeming to care that she was being an outright bitch to the leader of the Condemned, she didn't give any fucks and she would keep it that way. She only snorted at what Ninazu said next but made no other comments, she would let everyone else have a jab if they wanted but Roxanne felt content with herself even if hanging the head of someone's husband on the gates of her own home was rather brutal. She did not care. She would lead the way she wanted and if anyone had an issue with it then they could suck it. "Leaving taxidermied bodies outside? You’ll ruin his beautiful mane." She hissed through her teeth, tutting her forked tongue. The Typhoon might have Stryker’s head, but they didn’t have his soul. "No, let me guess, you copied the old school Pittian methods of border marking—my methods, Stryker’s methods—left the flesh to rot, stink up the place, and breed flies like Belzebub. The only ones you’re intimidating are your own children." Glowing saliva oozed between her teeth, and she huffed a plume of smoke. "Your imitation is the sweetest flattery, Captain." When the lion talked, she slowly panned her gaze to him. She forgot his name, but she recognized his one-eyed noggin. How many times had she fought him? She forgot this as well, but she remembered winning every single time they came to blows. "And who are you, again? Elswyer, I know. But you? You’re a punching bag. A chew toy. A body to beat." She chuckled, pulling her lips back in a condescending sneer. "I only remember how easily your blood flowed. And that little humiliating episode with Goldenluxury bleeding out in the dirt." If he thought to underestimate her, despite suffering under her claws personally, that was his problem, not hers. Let them underestimate her. No creature ever considered the entire landmass would fall under the control of a single group, even for a day, yet the Coalition achieved it for a month. Let them cocoon themselves in willful ignorance. It’d make it all the easier to catch them unaware. She lifted a brow. "Is that it? I expected a roast, not this drivel. No jokes about Roxanne’s indigestion after eating my serval body? No comments on how Vale was the worst at utilizing our military strength to deal a blow to the Pitt? Or how, oh wow, we forgot to account for the power of friendship in our overly ambitious conquest? Come on. Be scarier than my inner demons. You haven’t even commented on how shiny and unnecessarily offensive this body is for a neutral meeting!" Ninazu rolled her eyes, turned to Sojourn, and shook her head. "I burned Romulus better than these two put together, and they’ve had months to stew on their hatred. Looks like they’re a little tongue-tied." Re: MONTHLY MEETING [ JANUARY 2021 ] - gael - 01-09-2021 ♛ GAEL Ó BROIN The Ardent observed those present quietly, analyzing. He offered Rhinestone a brief nod but little else in greeting -- the Palm Glades had done nothing to anger the Pitt but they were still an unknown faction with allegiances prone to shift.Aurum's inquiry caught his own focus; ears perking in silent question of his own. He had little care for Goldenluxury, but it seemed strange to consider her among the losses. Kian would want to know. As Ninazu made herself known, Gael ignored her entirely, musing that it would seem the Coalition's arrogance was a true bottomless well -- no end in sight. Allowing themselves to feel safe behind a mountain range continued to mark their foolishness. More so their pathetic cry for attention here; petty insults and 'roasts' were a complete waste of time. In the end, the vulpine returned his shrewd gaze to the Palm Glades legate, keeping his ears perked for news around him even as he spoke. "Rhinestonestar, I am afraid I know little about the Palm Glades and your people. I assume you are faring well, without Coalition allegiance?" "I AM A STONE" —-- gael ó broin / faerie / ardent / lamby Re: MONTHLY MEETING [ JANUARY 2021 ] - Romulus - 01-09-2021
Wasn't this going to be a lovely meeting? Romulus wouldn't miss it for the world. The multi-colored lion followed his sibling and mother closely, embracing in their presence as they surpassed through the stonehenge and made their way to the crater. With time, more had arrived. He settled close to his group's members, more notably towards Ninazu and Sojourn, and watched as the bickering began with Roxanne's cue. Periwinkle eyes surveyed the crowd, picking out the leaders and their members accordingly as he sat in silence. He couldn't help but smirk. At this point, these monthly meetings were no longer a place for them to meet in peace, but rather a place to hold a pissing contest.
At Aurum's mention of leadership, the lion's head craned. What a strange choice. Replacing the yellow spotted feline with a violent, spine-ripping beast wouldn't have been his first choice for a pacifist group's leader, but so be it. Curious. Romulus didn't want to mistake his supposed 'courage' for villainy. Even so, the newfound Luminary had killed an innocent to prove a worthless point. The lion held that to himself though. The wanderer's gaze shifted towards his mother, watching as she valiantly spoke of her husband's and his father's demise. His heart dropped. For as much as he hoped for Stryker's return, he couldn't help but feel as if Ninazu was holding onto a false hope after returning from her own death. Nevertheless, he tried to repress the thought. The lion's tail lashed forward and wrapped around his paws. Rounded ears pointed upwards, listening to her carefully laid out strategic threats afterwards. He didn't necessarily agree with leaving their enemies alone though, especially The Palm Glades. Their betrayal was unacceptable. Periwinkle hues moved to Roxanne and then towards Aurum. He didn't feel like acknowledging the woman's comments in regards to her new 'decoration.' "I pray that her death is slow and long," the lion mused lowly. His eyes looked Aurum and Roxanne up and down, looking for their response. "Long live the pirate queen, I suppose." Until she succumbed, of course. The big cat's head moved up towards Aurum. Before he spoke, the lion ran his tongue over his teeth while he contemplated his words. Romulus didn't plan on inciting any violent outbursts, but rather a knowledgeable discussion on one another's flaws. "And you-" He didn't know Aurum's name either. "-took over a practically non-existent group after carelessly murdering an innocent bystander in front of your members." Let it be known that Romulus did not share his father's ideals. He fought for his familiars, family, and ideals, but did not wish violence on those uninvolved in their petty politics. "You taking an opportunity during a group's downfall, yet criticizing our choice to do the same, makes you no different than us." A stifled cackle echoed out of Romulus as his name was mentioned. "At least I wasn't a sore loser about it." Although the mention of his religion hurt a bit. He couldn't help that two beings formed to create him and his body. Hell, he hadn't even revealed any of the secrets behind their merge yet. By reading the text of the angel and demon that laid within his soul he thought he'd reveal something about himself... but he had yet to find anything. He threw the thought aside though, now focusing on Gael's question towards Rhinestonestar. The lion wondered how they were going to answer. After all, The Palm Glades was mooching of Tanglewood's territory and the Coalition of the Condemned's resources. They were, to an extent, struggling. Re: MONTHLY MEETING [ JANUARY 2021 ] - rhosmari - 01-09-2021
''Wow...'' She almost howled the words as a laugh spilled forth from her frigid throat. She couldn't really believe what they were saying. Though anger pulsed in her stomach at the pretend Captain's talk about having her father's head she was more enthused about how easily they tossed aside another group. Called them abandoned when there were animals there that had to struggle and eventually surrender to them. Her mother was right about these other groups. They were just as heartless as the Coalition. The only difference was that they hadn't mindlessly plotted out their falls. They had done so for a reason and for their own survival. ''I know, makes me wonder just what exactly they have been doing. I mean honestly they haven't been caring at all about the fall of one of their so called friends or even their possible ally. After all, rather quick to dismiss them as nothing now.'' The lioness was rather humored about this whole thing and how easy it was to see that they were plain hypocrites. Her tail curled around her paws then as she tilted her head. ''Wish I could tell the Elysium members exactly how the other groups actually felt about them. With them being abandoned and all of that. You know, expecting for others to help them and none of them actually lifted a paw to even try to save them or their lands. Guess they really were just as it was put, worthless.'' All of their suffering and hoping was revealed as pointless if they were seen as nothing more than an abandoned group not actually worth their time in saving. Well, they were more than destroyed now with their territory taken over and no thanks to those around them to stop their very existence from being demolished. Perhaps they would become nothing more than a story on the wind and well, all thanks given to these mighty groups that liked to toot their own horns at their feeble victory of clawing their way out of a hole they blindingly fell into. Truth be told her brother was right, Tanglewood had been just as 'abandoned' as he called Elysium to be. Now he was preaching to them about their triumph. Another snicker left her muzzle as she rolled her eyes and glanced toward her mother was who she knew was keeping her cool, jabbing at them with ease as they attempted to collect themselves from the ruin and ashes. It was humorous that they were still thriving, no matter how hard they had attempted to stomp on them and ruin them. Stryker would return, they had done nothing and they would come to realize that. The ice demon ran a cold tongue over cold paw, tail lashing in annoyance. Had they nothing to say, other than what was expected? "Throw a curveball or something." He said softly, lifting his gaze toward his groupmates.
"Why's a spine-ripping lion like him running that swamp anyway? Wait, I know." Brutei's words fell like droplets of thick poison. "Romulus said it. And I won't repeat his words. But he's right." He stood up and looked around. He recognized Quasar and Rhine, causing his lips to flinch in a frown. "This is quite unsavory. Seeing them here. Traitorous little cretins." He hushed from his mouth, too quiet for anyone else but his group to hear. MORTAL KINGS ARE RULING CASTLES, WELCOME TO MY WORLD OF FUN! — Reggan
