No venom. That was actually... pretty reassuring. Although Rhine didn't really expect Medusa to do anything against any of the other members of Palmclan, accidents were prone to happen. If the other were venomous, it only would've taken one accidental bite during a spar for things to go seriously wrong, and there was no way Rhinestone wanted that happening. He smiled when Medusa explained what sort of hybrid she was, even though he knew very little about reptiles in the first place. If one asked him to identify the different between a rat snake and a king cobra, he probably would've just shrugged before running as quickly in the opposite direction as he could. Feeling bold considering Medusa had been receptive to questions thus far, Rhine decided to ask the questions he had thought of before, a thoughtful hum leaving him, "Alright... when you eat, do you actually get the taste of what you're eating? You swallow prey whole, obviously, but I'm wondering if you actually taste it, or if there's something else that happens." A life without taste didn't sound too fun, but if Medusa wasn't able to control that, then there wasn't exactly anything she could do.

It was disappointing to hear that Medusa couldn't taste things, more for her sake than his own. After all, the leader knew of so many different kinds of prey and meals that were so delicious and wonderful to enjoy, but Medusa would never be able to get the full experience of them. Rhine felt the need to mutter sympathetically, offering the hybrid a little smile as he did so, "Ah... my own tongue helps me with scents as well, but I'm also able to taste things. It's a shame about not being able to taste anything, though. I guess it could be much worse than that, however. Like not being able to eat things." He shook his head at the thought, a little shudder running through him. Not only would you end up starving, but not tasting anything in your life on top of that? It sounded like hell on earth. With his main questions answered, however, Rhinestone found himself shaking his head when Medusa asked if he had any more, "No, I don't believe that I do... although. Do you have any questions for me? I can answer any questions you might have about Palmclan or our culture... or me in particular, I suppose. Although I'm really not that interesting." He finished by chuckling a bit awkwardly, having never really been one for talking about himself.
