Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - SÉAMUS - 09-02-2020

Séamus Ó Faoláin
The Irishman found it difficult to resist following the lights.  Becoming a shadow to both his daughter and Roxanne, the pirate lingered away for the first moments of the "meeting".  His ears perked and sea-green eyes alight with amusement as things began to pick up.

He barked a chuckle as he stepped into view, though it was unclear to whom he laughed at -- Gael or Vale -- or perhaps the Faerie laughed at them both.  After all, the idea Gael could possibly feel either embarrassed or threatened cracked him up.  "Cute.  So endearing of you to believe my stone of a cousin even has the potential to feel embarrassment.  I'm honestly impressed he paid attention to your name.  Aquila non capit muscas.  You're simply a nuisance."

The small feline rolled his shoulders back, whiskers twitching.  In truth, he too felt a touch irritated; with the recent events, Roxanne deserved her personal space.  His cousin saw it as well; with little tolerance regardless of audience.  Séamus never felt anything short of respect for Gael, regardless whether they stood united or against each other -- his cousin was professional to a fault.  If the fox felt someone was miss stepping, there would be no special treatment; friend or foe, private or public.  It was a pleasant comparison to his older brother's honeyed pacifism.

It felt strange to think he may be leading the Typhoon's oldest enemy.  Last he had heard someone more gruesome had been in command and he almost felt for the Pitt -- so many transitions.  Gael knew how to take charge however, a fact Séamus knew well from their time in the faerie royal guard all those years ago.  It must be interesting at least.

He hardly expected the vulpine to feel the ambition, but the responsibility likely felt natural.  "Dia dhuit, Gael.  It is good to see you, cousin.  You really Ardent now?  That must be interesting.  And you," he turned his gleaming eyes onto Hani and Alani, "recently stepped up in Elysium?  I'd wish ye all good luck, but the small talk really is kind of boring."

Surely, with so much leadership -- new and old -- present, an interesting line of discussion could occur.  Politics only entertained the pirate so long as there was some level of intrigue -- that was why he enjoyed espionage.  The trade of secrets and threat of life certainly thrilled more than idle chitchat.

Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - VIGENERE CIPHER. - 09-03-2020

[glow=white,1,400]LYING THROUGH YOUR TEETH AGAIN !。+゚.[/glow]
Vigenere had hardly any time to react to Keona's words as the scene unfolded before him. The Pittian crow's call made him tense up, but when he noticed that zey appeared to be here only to cause trouble, the savannah decided to ignore zem for the time being. He listened to the Pittian outright disrespected zir leader and Vigenere couldn't help but side with Gael here - as much as a surprise that may be. "Obviously you feel no loyalty." He snorted, his words directed towards Vale. "Why stick around in The Pitt with their new Ardent -" If Séamus's words were anything to go by; that would explain why Silent wasn't here, huh?

Dumbass. Vigenere cursed mentally at himself, but quickly shook the thought off. "If you must know, this is a peaceful gathering." Or it should be, anyway, despite Vigenere's initial hostility towards Gael and The Pitt. "If you want to cause trouble, I'm sure you can do some in your own damn home. Speaking of which -" The savannah turned back to Gael now, narrowing his eyes at the new leader. "- why have you allowed Caesar back into your ranks?"

Unfortunately for him, he was not aware that Silent's mental torture wasn't something that his Pittian clanmates were unable to see. Vigenere was already paranoid about his lunatic of a brother lurking around, and he certainly wasn't going to feel any comfort once he hears that Caesar had never been allowed to return to The Pitt.[glow=COLOR,1,400]✧*:・゚[/glow]

Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - gael - 09-03-2020

GAEL Ó BROIN
Gael felt the air build in his chest -- the beginning of a disappointed sigh, until his cousin appeared from the shadows.  Aquila non capit muscas indeed.  He almost smiled, though the expression lacked a sense of joy.

"I am merely willing to make an example of your lack of manners -- no matter who is present." If he must make himself clear, the vulpine would without hesitation.  "Do not presume to know me if you believe such behavior would ever fall under my 'plans'."

The faerie twitched his ear, eyes softening a fraction as he felt his daughter shift against him.  A brave step attending, though he wished she did not feel inclined to pressure herself in this way -- especially with Vale misbehaving.

"Silent stepped down," he offered in a plain confirmation.  The details beyond such he would withhold for the time, though they were hardly monumental -- the strange creature simply sought new purpose, leaving Gael to stand in his place.

As Vigenere spoke, the faerie felt a rare shred of confusion.  "Caesar?" It had been moons since the vulpine saw the other and he frowned as he realized the Luminary possessed some resemblance.  Perhaps a personal feud connected the two -- it hardly concerned him more than the sudden accusation itself.

With genuine curiosity, the Ardent shook his head. "I don't see how it's of any relevance, but Caesar was exiled during Kydobi's reign and remains in exile.  He has not returned since."  Gael had found Caesar disruptive and unnecessarily violent -- an unwelcome influence, even following Silent's changes to the Pitt.  "I, for one, do not plan on lifting the exile, either."

With the egocentric fire-starter in mind, he placed his paw in front of his daughter in a gentle protective gesture.  "I do not know where you heard otherwise, but he should know he is not welcome," he added at length, voice cool.

Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - ROXANNE R. - 09-03-2020

me dejaste, me dejaste en un tango
At Vigenere's inquiry and Keona answering the savannah cat, Roxanne would sit upright only to nod slowly in the direction of the leaders "Our Captain is fine. It is not something you need to concern yourself over, I stand here in her place as she would have wanted." Goldenluxury had more important matters to attend to than some gathering where there would be clear tension and Roxanne had assumed correctly when Vigenere began to get hostile towards the new Ardent of the Pitt. With a huff and roll of her eyes, she would refrain from speaking further only to feel something weigh down on her horns. An avian of sorts and zey seemed to belong to the Pitt. Roxanne had been ready to protest only to watch the shapeshifting creature fall from her horns like goop, huh, how unsettling.

Her eyes shifted over to Gael nodding slowly "It is my first time here too," Though she moved on from the conversation itself when suddenly a two headed feline made their way over causing the fur on the Officer's coat to prickle slightly but Roxanne had seen other odd individuals through most of her life so she would listen to what they said. "Roxanne Roux," She would introduce herself to Hani and Alani though it was an introduction for those who were acquainted with her, she supposed. She didn't really know what the purpose of the meeting was but she would be there nonetheless, especially if Goldie didn't want to go herself. Roxanne feeling comfort in having Keona and Séamus there with her. She trusted Keona and well, there was some default trust given to Séamus due to their relations and both of them living within the Typhoon.

A soft breath left her maw deciding to not pay much attention to the one who had coiled around her horns for a form of entertainment, her eyes locking onto Vigenere listening to what he said about a peaceful gathering. "I agree, it is a peaceful gathering." Her voice rose and took a tone of subtle authority, she would continue with a faint smile on her maw "So, if you will allow us a peaceful gathering, Vigenere. I would appreciate that," She'd let that sink in before humming quietly at what Gael said next about Caesar being exiled. It seemed most of the groups had exiled the bastard, which was good to hear. "It seems all our groups can agree on keeping that eyestrain of an asshole exiled."

Clearing her throat, the Officer took a moment before speaking with a curt nod "Now, if our tense party will calm down." The corner of her eyes watching the Tanglewood Luminary, she was not impressed by him and wondered how he had rose to the ranks. Hell, he had even gotten caught and her own niece had to go repay that debt to Vig. Hopefully, the Cipher would learn how to unfurl himself from his own troubles though those were thoughts for another time. "Let's get down to business," The Roux mewed with a roll of her shoulders, she didn't exactly know what they were primarily discussing or let alone disclosing with one another but hopefully, it wasn't boring though a part of her felt that it would be the latter.

Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - VIGENERE CIPHER. - 09-04-2020

[glow=white,1,400]LYING THROUGH YOUR TEETH AGAIN !。+゚.[/glow]
Vigenere flicked an ear as a response to Roxanne's words, her sarcasm - or at least, he detected sarcasm in her words, especially when talking to him - wasn't well received to the tom and he simply rolled his eyes. "I know when to control myself." He grunted in reply to her. "Unlike a certain someone." Once again, Vigenere looked over at Vale but quickly traveled back over to Gale, blinking at him in shock. "Caesar isn't there...?" He echoed, almost in disbelief.

Gael assured him that Caesar has always been exiled and it certainly wasn't changing under his reign; while that was reassuring on one level, Vigenere couldn't help but feel uneasy at knowing that his hot-headed brother was out there somewhere, likely to cause trouble. "It doesn't matter where I heard it from." He responded, trying to hide his unease. "But it is good to know he not welcome in The Pitt, nor The Typhoon." The savannah looked over at Roxanne when he added her group. "He's certainly not allowed in Tanglewood either."

Looking back at the two-headed feline that had came over, appearing to expect an answer from them. "I assume the same is for Elysium, as well?"[glow=COLOR,1,400]✧*:・゚[/glow]

Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - roan ; - 09-04-2020

Huh, it seemed as though they were late. Either way, Roan found that he didn't care much about how early or late they were as he padded into the gathering place, flanked by Michael. Both the soothsayer and reaver took a moment to just take in their surroundings, along with all of those that had gathered. However, Roan's attention was snatched by the sound of Vigenere's voice in the air, which caused the siamese's ears to pin down against his skull. He had disliked the other leader ever since he had gotten captured, and Goldie had been forced to go and rescue him. If his own group didn't even want to go and get him, it was obvious that he wasn't worth much. Shooting a glance back at Michael to let him know they were splitting up, the soothsayer made his way over to where his mother was, standing a bit below where all of the leaders were gathered. Wings shifting, Roan cleared his throat and spoke firmly – and pointedly – towards Vigenere, "I would recommend less worrying about Typhooners and yellow shitheads, and more time worrying about yourself. Try not to get captured again, so that Goldenluxury doesn't need to save your ass." Not interested in exchanging any more words with anyone until he was addressed, the medic simply settled down near the base of the tree. He was here to listen to the business and offer his insight as a healer, not deal with petty bickering.

Michael, meanwhile, didn't really want to stir up more trouble. It was definitely entertaining watching all of the nonsense going down, but it really was kind of ridiculous... they were supposed to be leaders, right? Save for his sister, anyways, who wasn't actually a proper leader yet. However, he was still extremely proud of her, and glad to see that she had stepped up while Goldie needed... some time off. Making his way throughout the crowd, the thief slowly took in all that were there. Gael, Roxie, Vigenere, Seamus, someone named Vale, and... wait. Who were they? He had never seen Hani and Alani before, and everyone was talking about some fourth group, known as Elysium. Unable to keep the clear confusion from his face, Michael moved to sit down before he spoke up, "I... excuse me? What's Elysium? Is that a real place?" The reaver felt like this was all some sort of coordinated practical joke. He wasn't sure he had ever heard of a place called Elysium, outside of Diya mentioning it once or twice as part of her past. He had always assumed that it was just some little hidden loner group within the uncharted lands, but it turned out that they were one of the four major groups. Not only that, but they had a pair of really strange looking leaders now? Man, this gathering was already pretty damn interesting.

Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - kinglykingstone - 09-04-2020

Hani and Alani had simply sat and listened, watching each leader and member turn up. Odd looks bothered them not, they had long grown used to being oggled at. As keona spoke, both brothers turned to look at the blind typhooner. Hani was the one to speak, taking a moment to think of his words. "Elysium does not know the whereabouts of the former leader Warringkingdoms. There was an earthquake and a note left in her home. We only can assume she went off to finish what she started. Or perhaps she no longer wished to shoulder the burden of a failing group."

He chose not to elaborate past that, instead allowing Alani to respond to Vale. Alani couldn't help but laugh, giving a small shake of his head. "Hell yeah, we're changing things up! We got some big plans to fix up the group, it was falling right apart when we got it!" His way of speaking was far from his brothers, as he gave Vale a wink. He dipped his head in thanks to Seamus but bothered not with a response, choosing to sit back and listen.

"I've only met the neon bastard a few times myself, but I've heard enough stories that if he shows up on our boarders? Ech." Paired with the sound effect, he pantomimed clawing his throat before dropping his paw with a chuckle. Technically, there should be something about loyalty to his groupmates there, considering both's relations to the Coalition but, frankly, the duo didn't like Ceaser and wouldn't mind him dead.

The pair couldn't help but look at the Reaver in surprise, cocking their heads to the side in unison. "I know our group was small when we received it, but was it truly so minuscule that it had become unknown." "Well damn, got more work to do than we thought." "Certainly, though," Hani paused, eyes moving to Roxanne, who represented the Typhoon at the moment. "We heard you have one of our own? If you could send Diya home to us, we would appreciate it." He'd found some of Warringkingdoms writings, some detailing how the Vampire in question had gone to return a lost child to the Typhoon and never returned. Hani knew that a vampire, one who could change forms, would be a good member to have if it came to war. He hopped it never would but, he knew of Strykers intentions.

Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - VALE - 09-04-2020

“Awww, you think I’m a nuisance? Really? I’m flattered.” Vale smooched zir paw and blew a kiss at Séamus. “Let me guess, your weakspot is when someone insults anyone you care about, because you’re so protective and secretly a big softie.”

Fire sparked out from between the jaguar’s toes, burning dots into the grass. Vale huffed at Vigenere, scowling. “No loyalty? Rude. Rude. Rude! You can’t just expose me like that, man, not cool at all.” Eyes rolling, the changeling’s fire climbed up zir legs, aggregating in a fire crown upon Vale’s head. “But, damn, son. Caeser? Never met the guy. Where the hell’d you get that lousy intel? If it’s a spy, better fire their ass before I do!”

Vale’s tail lashed, striking stone and lighting at the tip. “Nah, I would never presume to step on Gael’s paw like that.” Red eyes rolling again, Vale grimaced as ze considered how much work that’d end up being.

The melanistic feline’s head rolled, quite literally turning a full half circle, back to Elysium’s newest leader. “Oh, goodie,” ze said, returning the wink. Finally, an animal without self-esteem issues a mile deep. “When you’ve finished up with the changes, ring-a-ring me up for Vale’s signature seal of approval!”

Vale’s body turned to re-align with zir head, and the changeling grimaced and pat zir neck with a paw again. Goddamn mammal bodies! Avian forms never complained this much from simple spine rotations!

Re: MONTHLY MEETING [SEPTEMBER 2020] - j a c k . - 09-04-2020

Jack never really planned on returning to the place, but after the news of Gael going there with only Vale and Aine as backup, Jack didn't hesitate to make his intentions known. he found a spot along one of the roots of the tree. The lack of Armor that coated the kodkod was a symbol of his peace, but by his appearance alone, and the ruckus that had been stirred when he had last been at the cornerstones of the tree- it was a hard illusion- or first impression if you will- to break.

He watched mostly, not with the intention of drawing attention towards himself. He didn't like attention, he faired better without it on and out of the battlefield and here he would rely on it. But then Jack spotted Aine, her worried, panicked sckittering eyes. jack didn't. he wouldn't move from his position, but he would move to make a large snowflake drift infront of her. Land between her eyes if she didn't move out of the way. Just- a distraction. Jack faired much better when he had a distraction for the nagging worries of implications of war. It came hand with living within the Pitt, but it didn't make it easier to deal with.

Gale's stern nature making itself known by Vale's disobedience, and the information about Gael's brother. Seamus? He let out a hum, watching the group for a moment before his eyes drifted towards the leaders. The temporary captain- Roxxane, Vigenere, and the two headed feline... Hani and Alani. "what kind of business is there to truly discuss? the clans have never been quick to share information before, to my knowledge" But it was fair- that Jack's murmur's would be ignored: he hadn't been a part of a clan before the Pitt had laid claim to him- and him in turn. He didn't stop to listen to Vale and zer own thoughts. Instead scanning the crowd for... someone.

STRYKER HARBRINGERCOTC
Within the background, a white lion lurked in the underbrush. Slitted eyes watched as the groups intermingled. Soon enough, a smirk met his lips. Before anyone could spot him, the Coalition of the Condemned's Kingpin left the scene without a trace.
