Since the wolf's arrival on the sandy beaches of Vinicius' coastal home, the siren had been paying him more visits than any other, or so he told himself. He could call it visiting all he wanted but he'd all but invited Project into his home until they could find him a suitable place to take shelter.

Today found the blond laying outside his occupied home and looking up at the beautiful sky, gratefully in the shade and a cracked open coconut between his paws. He'd been slaking his thirst with the coconut there, it's faintly milky taste resting on his tongue as he hummed a gentle song, tail wagging slowly against the coarse sand. Huffing a low breath he growled in relief as he stretched tense muscles, lost in thought.

It has been a few days since Project had washed ashore. Since then, it seemed that every night, the wolf was plagued to be restless, his dreams cryptic and horrifying, images of burned and mutilated bodies, long dead people standing from their grave to ask him if it was worth it. What they meant was never said, but it was clearly implied. They wanted to know if killing them was worth it. But... Project never killed anyone, right? He surely didn't kill anyone since he got here, and that's all that he knew. That and... He was a vampire. These two things were all that he knew, and yet he was plagued by things he didn't know. It was this plaguing that led the wolf to the pirate ship, a place he was told not to go to, something about it being haunted. Personally, he never believed these stories, Project didn't think it was really haunted, not until he saw a ghost himself.

Slung around his neck, however, was something very real. It was his shiny metal flask, still full of a liquor that had been there since as long as he knew. How good was it? That he hadn't tested. But, with his sleepless nights full of visions of atrocities, Project figured it was as good a time as any.

Heavy, lumbering pawsteps carried an exhausted canine closer to the wreck, his weight shifting with his steps as he desperately fought fatigue, his mind unwilling to silence itself. Finally, he had gotten close enough to sit in the shade, the sunset basking the volcanic beach in an orange and pink light.

I've seen an endless amount of these, and yet... each one is more uniquely beautiful than the last... The pitch black and orange speckled wolf thought, his mismatched eyes scanning the area, his porcelain half mask coming off once he had deemed the area was free of gawking eyes. The burns that were hidden began to sting incredibly in the sea breeze, the infection he was suffering from washing up during the storm simply amplifying the pain that shot through his skull and down his neck.

It was in this state, tensed and grimacing, that Project would be found, the Typhoon leader having slipped under the vampire's attention.

Project had finally gone home for the final time. If one was to listen close enough, they might even hear the joyous cries of his children as they frolicked around their parent's paws once more. However, this was long ago. Centuries had past since he had finally departed. Millenia, even. The lost soul had no idea how long he was away from the mortal coil, but no matter how long it was, it was never long enough. Before he had known, he felt the warmth of his mate and his pups be suddenly jerked away, the comfort of the sun replaced with the oppressive, cruel, bitter cold of ocean waves, the skies having opened up as to signify that he was being punished once more, that he was being brought back to the mortal plane yet again, that he was not allowed to rest again.

The water came from every direction, the now panicking wolf trying his best to remain above the waves as they pummeled into him, wave after wave, each crash pushing him more and more under water until he could feel the biting cold seep deep into his bones, the cutting freezing temperature fading into a dull ache. His first day back alive and he was going to drown to death. Ironic, how he, at one point, was able to control fire, just to be drowned the first day he had back alive.
Slowly...

Slowly...

It must have felt like hours that Project was watching the bubbles escape his maw, his vision constricting and fading to black, the sunshine tinted green through the wine dark ocean. At least I can be back with them soon... were the thoughts in his mind as he slowly slipped into unconsciousness, accepting his fate.

Unfortunately for Project, this wouldn't be his fate, as before he knew it, the freezing abyss gave way into coarse sand and shells, cutting the hide of the limp creature, blood blossoming from the wounds as he was violently introduced to the jagged rocks and shells that were being washed up with him.

The storm had stolen the undead wolf, just to suck him into another abyss and then throw him to land where he would lay still, the lack of oxygen from drowning having left him unconscious, the small wounds starting to wake him with pain.

Maybe, just maybe, he was never meant to get any peace. As a sense of cosmic justice for those that he tortured, maimed and slain. Maybe that is why he is laying unconscious on some God forsaken beach.

When Keokie was young, he was such a simple child. He wanted someone to play with him. He desired the attention, one could say, but at the same time he grew tired of it too and wanted his own time to play his own imaginary games.

The biggest thing that would occur is his father seeming to leave a lot, go campaign and start war with places. All the child wanted to do was bring him home, the days growing boring and missing his father.

He didn't know he would get lost. His own scent would be blown away and covered by a terrifying storm. He'd hide under the roots of a tree as it creaked and groaned above him. The lightning that cracked across the sky, and the thunder that rumbled made his heart slam against his chest.

He had thought once the storm cleared, that he was going the right direction. But the direction was unclear. Days turned to nights. His belly hurt and rumbled. A rogue that came across Keokie was more than willing to help him learn to gather food. But she did not know where to help the boy get home. So his belly would no longer rumble, and he could now have the basic information to hunt for himself and navigate where he's been better.

But it wasn't necessarily enough. For once she left, the cookies and cream cat would feel the bitter treatment of loneliness. Why would he leave his home? Even if he was looking for Sherbet.

--------

His memories were distant. To remember his clan and their names were nearly impossible at this point. Why he left was long gone.

"Who's there?"

The voice was unfamiliar, and his ears perks before amber eyes cast a questioning stare to the stranger. "Just me," he responded, cocking an eyebrow. "I am Keokie."

"Keokie..." she mumbled something he could not hear. "Who are ya talking with?"

He was, and quite enjoying the hypotheticals in his head, but he wouldn't mind the presence of another. He was settled in his makeshift den, two slabs of rocks with a small fire, and some moss bedding layered to make his bed. It wasn't anything stable, but it would work. "Uh, Myself?" His tone was confused.

The stranger shrugged her shoulders. She had a broad frame, what appeared to be a long mane, braided and entwined and twisted with feathers and beads. She was golden furred, with black stripes, and several golden piercings on her ears.

Her entire vibe reminded him of pirate. "Where do ya fare from?" She asked, helping herself to settle on her haunches and invade his time. It was fine, thought the fact she didn't ask made it a little uncouth.

"You probably haven't heard of it," he responded, and the tiger tilted her head. He had a realization, that her eyes were faded, and staring off in the distance but not him. No, she was blind and it started to make sense to the male.

"Hit me," she said, and the comment made him jolt. "With the possibility I may know." She laughed, a heart laugh as her paw held her chest realizing why he didn't respond quick enough.

"The typhoon," he said rather quietly. Although he may not remember names, he grasped on to the location, having been searching for it.

Her reaction startled him. "Been there, seen that!" The joke she made to herself must've made her laugh, and a small chuckle came from him as a large paw hit his back. "See it's so funny because I can't see." Just confirming his own realizations.

"Wait- You know where it is??" He asked, shooting to his paws.

"Of course I do! I'm from the Pitts!"

Keokie would be more than excited. And soon enough she would lead him. It was several days, and although the tiger was blind, she had many stories to tell, and kept the days from feeling long. She could even hunt, which surprised him but also didn't.

And quicker than he could've imagined, He would be on the border. And he would hug her in glee at the fact a blind women could navigate the world, and he couldn't. But she was a life saver, and he owed her. Though she cast it aside and laughed, he still felt inclined to pay her back one day.

But now at the border of the Typhoon, he would wait. Though he wanted to run, who knows if they even remembered him. If Sherbet was even alive, who was still there and alive. So he would wait as not to get attacked by being unrecognized.

Pochi hated every second spent in this miserable area, it stunk here. Everything stunk to him since he had left his small cave a few days ago. Speaking of water - the very thing he yearned to have was just a bit farther. Just a bit farther. Urging himself forward, yet his body seemed to dislike that, as it didn't move - and his brows furrowed. Just a bit more. But it was just his hopes.

Sun shimmers across his dark blue fur, and his gold eyes are bright, in contrast to his current status. His bandanna almost choked him, and he gives himself a few minutes to settle down where he is. Next to a small puddle, and laps at the water. All focus on the small source of water, he barely realizes when it had appeared someone had crept up onto him and found him. Now, would they harm or help him? He could only hope for the best in his desperation.

It was a quiet period for the siren, his jaws laden with the water bucket he used to water his small crop of tomatoes. Tail switching side to side behind him as he walked, head held up high as he hummed a tune he knew he couldn't hear. He'd read somewhere that singing to plants helped them to grow, not unlike children sung songs by their parents. Scales a-gleam as he padded along, enjoying the warmth of the dun on his back, enjoying the relative quiet he was experiencing.

Setting down his watering bucket outside of the haphazard lean-to of what he called a home for the time being, he crawled inside and secured a basket from the back of his shelter. Backing out of the structure, shaking his pelt when he was free, eyes sparkling. Yelping as his paw landed on an old nail from his shelter, the siren picked up the offending foot and turned it to look at it with a frown. He hadn't stepped down hard enough for the nail to do too much damage but it had broken skin and was causing him some considrable pain. Lapping at the small wound until he was confidant it wouldn't continue to bleed, the siren hobbled back towards the beach that The Typhoon lived on, hunting for tidepools if anything. The afternoon sun warmer him, his tongue lolling as he limped onto the warm sands, headed straight for the edges of the low tide to find his desired tidepools. He would have a period of time to do his hunting, both for shellfish for food and for other crafts.

Setting his basket down, the siren would lower his body to the damp sand and begin to nose about a tidepool, looking for hidden shellfish and playfully snapping at the stripped crabs that tried to evade his strong jaws. Huffing a breath of amusement, his rail set to wagging as he went about his collecting activity, thinning about what he would be eating that night for supper and wondering if he shouldn't go about collecting some food for his groupmates in case anybody came by.
He snarled, cried, and despaired. He begged, screamed, and prayed. His life as he knew would come to an end, that he was sure, even if he did not know his expiration date. His hermit behavior did not extend to his wonderful husband, Boots, but he could hardly look at the other cat, or even his own children without being wrought with bone rending emotion. So, here he is. 2 months later. His amputated leg still raw and furless due to scar tissue. His eyes pinpricks as he forced himself to heave himself to the bay, his paws screaming at him to turn tail and run.

But, if Sherbet is anything, he finishes what he starts, even if it's a war effort.
TLDR;;
▪︎First, please apply for High Positions if you'd like, we're in need of some more order around here and some more IC higher ups watching Sherb lose it lmao
▪︎Second, Corrupttimelines was captured a bit ago (few weeks??) and ties into third point
▪︎Third, R A I D. We're finally doing a raid on Tanglewood and capturing another member to force Aesior to give Alexandre back at a swap in Neutral Grounds. Keep an eye out for anything interesting that happens at the raid and at the eventual swap hehe
▪︎Fourth, if you're interested in the kidnapping of a hostage from Tanglewood during the raid, please message either [member=3043]teef[/member] and/or me on discord <3
▪︎Fifth, start keeping watch for DOTD, our boy is jumpy
▪︎Sixth, summer festival soon!!! Feel free to message me in Sherbet's Discord character channel, or dm me on discord with ideas for activites for each month! Each month is split between the different divisions; June (Grim Rays), July (Blackjack Rats), and August (Necro Mambas), so keep in mind activies with those in mind
Waters lapping gently about his paws, the gilled siren standing in shallows with the warm sun bearing down on his blonde fur. Tongue barely kept within pearly teeth, his gaze fixed on the waters below with an easy grin on his narrow face. Blue eyes watched small fishes and minnows darting around his paws, observing with contentment the ocean's ecosystem. Slowly his tail wagged as he stood there, tongue lolling as he lowered his nose to the water and dunked his head into the waters.

Thrill of the chill racing his spine, the siren shifted his position, moving into deeper waters with a soft splash as his tail wagged harder, headed out for the edges of where his paws could touch the sand. Issuing a happy growl, the siren pulled on the net that he'd brought with him, intent on doing some fishing to at least fill his hungry belly and a few others.

[align=center][div style="text-align: justify; width: 45%; font-family: arial; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: -1px;"]It was a few days after his unofficial joining of the Typhoon. Frankly, he was torn between a deep hatred for Sky Rats and a sense of gratitude. After all, they would never have gotten their father. The Storm God was a pretty awesome dad. The tiny kitten loved to rise on his shoulders and loved to sleep safely between his massive talons. The sense of safety was something he never felt before. And yet..

Here is was wandering on the beach again. It was night time and he had no worries about any Sky Rats. He knew they liked the day better. Frankly, the tiny Chaos God preferred the night. The kittens tiny bobbed tail twitched. Ears perking as he raced over the sands. Kicking the gritty substance up as he went. Until, he stopped and let his ears perk up. Head tilting as a new glow swirled about him.

He was confused and let his head tilt down to the source. His paws were on fire. They didn't hurt, but they were burning brightly and he let out a surprised squeak. Turning to run back towards home, he left tiny glass pawprints in his wake.

He had developed a new power and wanted his dad to see. Mainly because he was scared. Or, rather unsure.
