⚔ [ THE HORDE TRY-OUTS ] ⚔

Finally time to get this taken care of! Here's the sign-ups/try-outs for all high position and semi-high positions of The Horde! Keep in mind that the Rosencrantz Family is also open to sign-ups/making your own oc under their name!!

The Horde is a group of mercenaries led by a vampiric family. The group parades itself under the banner of knights and the responsibility of a sovereignty, where they claim honor is an important virtue yet it is something that they will easily throw away if it means a bit of coin. 

The only requirements are that you remain active as an HP. Tryouts will close on June 26th and will be announced In Character as well as in The Horde's Discord.

THE AVAILABLE RANKS:
Grand Marshal — [1 slot] - The second in command of The Horde and is responsible for most battle choices and declarations of conquest or war. A political figurehead who is trusted to deal with any problems that may arise.
Apothecary — [1 slot] - Medically trained professional responsible for the health and wellbeing of the group, also seen as someone trained in magic.
Apothecary's Student — [2 slots] - Herbalist novices training under the Apothecary in the field of medicine, surgery and magic.
Knight Captain (noble) — [1 slot] - The individual responsible for the training and accomodation of the Knights under the Rosencrantz Family's name and those of The Horde. Known alternatively as the enforcers of justice in the group and take no shit from anyone. They are entrusted with The Horde's best interests.
Master Adventurer (noble) — [1 slot] - The individual responsible for ensuring those under The Horde's care are well-cared for and well-kept with supplies of food, arms and housing. They oversee the Marketplace and any merchants that enter or exit Fort Crom.

THE COLOURED BANNERS:
Knight Corps (fighting force, subjugation) — Red Banner
Adventurer's Guild (hunters, gatherers and assistants to the Apothecary) — Blue Banner
Council of Whispers (those closest to the Lord or Lady of the time) — Purple Banner

THE TITLES:
Dragonslayer — for those who have shown the most valor and loyalty to the horde in battle or in conquest. given to knights and mercenaries who have achieved great feats in battle or partake in multiple battles and raids.
Pathfinder — this is to be given to members who have proven their skill in traversing unknown lands be it of their own or of an enemy group. given to spies and masters of the field. usually given to those of adventurer and merchant roles.
Shadowstalker — earned by those who go into enemy territory and take up roles within the enemy's group, secretly gathering information and worming their way into the good graces of the group they have joined.
Soothsayer — given to those who are skilled in medicine or in the gift of caring for life. any individual who has skill and has proven it will be rewarded this title.

[ROSEMARY]

Character Name: Rosemary Roux
Roleplayer Name: Axiom
Position: Apothecary or Apothecary's Student
Desired Banner Colour: blue (healers), maybe purple later when she’s more trusted by her noble vampire family
Potential Plots/Ideas:
- The Roux siblings are half-siblings of the Rosencrantz kids, because the Roux siblings’ mom ran off to join a Mormon Vampire Cult. Compared to the other vampires in the Horde, the Rouxes are hillbillies.
- Rosemary will discover her elemental abilities relatively soon, so she’s going to have ISSUES. The skill grind of getting good at elementals isn’t the problem. The problem is that she has so much fun using her magic that she needs a lot more blood than she used to. And she’s too socially anxious to ask for help!
- Adapting to noble vampire society. Currently, when Rosemary feeds, she feeds on either non-sentient animals (which looks like normal hunting with extra steps) or she finds a commoner to drink then uses memory manipulation to wipe the memory. This might be “hillbilly vampire” to the nobles at court.

Character Name: Project K
Roleplayer Name: Beans
Position: Knight Captain
Desired Banner Colour: Red
Potential Plots/Ideas: Project currently has a missing daughter, which would lead to personally motivated conflict between his loyalty to The Horde and his loyalty to his family.

He is going to discover more of his elemental abilities (once I have the gems in hand), and would be fully prepared to teach the use of said ability in an offensive and defensive manner if other Knights turned to be similarly gifted.

He will be dealing with his internalized conflict, as he went from being nothing more than a faceless Merc to being a soldier again, having morals and orders to follow, meaning he can't be as much of a loose cannon as he is normally. It will lead to feeling out of place yet right at home, as he has never truly experienced nobility outside of working on behest of them.
Titles to Work Towards?: Honestly, Project will be working towards Dragonslayer. He holds loyalty to his unit, his employers, over his own safety.

Character Name: tbd, still trying to figure out a name. A temporary one is Ragnar, just a placeholder.

Potential Plots/Ideas: not entirely certain at the moment, but will be thinking of setting some up!
