I Swear I Lived - Poet - Ubbe - 07-31-2019

Ubbe had just been wandering about the territory, not really going anywhere specific. He just felt the need to take a stroll. Ubbe trotted along happily, his tail wagging behind him. He was in a good mood surprisingly. It had been a while since he felt like this. The wolf stopped however when he spotted the smaller of the lion brothers. Poetking, or Poet as he, and many others have been calling him.

Ubbe started making his way over to the other. "Good morning Poet." Ubbe greeted. A smile seemed to be tugging at his lips. He was still wary of Wormwood. But Poet? He was alright. Mainly because Ubbe was still bigger then him. He knew that would change soon enough. But for now the other wasn't intimidating.

[div style="width: 480px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 13px;"]poet didn’t go on walks often. not without someone to make sure he wouldn’t faint in the middle of his walk and get eaten by a curious alligator. he hadn’t even left his porch, but he planned on it.. after he finished sweeping. and cleaning. and dusting and all that fine stuff.

hiwever, he paused when someone started talking to him, broom held in his jaws. he lowered it to the porch and hummed. "hello, ubbe. i hope you’re settling into tanglewood alright!"

Ubbe watched the other before nodding. "Yep. I'm alright." Ubbe said, wagging his tail. He looked him over curiously. "How are you and your brother settling in? Alright I hope?" he asked. He knew Wormwood was mostly settled in. He had spoken to him a few times. He was alright for the most part. But the younger brother, he wasn't so sure about. He hoped Poet was doing alright though.

[div style="width: 480px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 13px;"]a soft hum left the lion, shrugging slightly. "i think i’m settled alright. i’m not sure about my brother, though. he keeps wondering off to god only knows where, so i wouldn’t know." he explained idly, brushing a bit of dirt away from the porch with his paw.

Ubbe hummed in understanding. He understood all too well about not knowing about his brothers. "I'm sorry. I hope things get better between you two." he said, giving a little reassuring nudge against his shoulder. He then looked around. "Would you like to take a walk? It's not that bad out right now. The heat is bearable." he murmured.

[div style="width: 480px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 13px;"]a walk sounded tempting but.. he didn’t know how well he’d do. even if the heat was bearable, there was still to possibility of him overheating. his fur was too thick and his anxiety about the whole situation already had him running a slight fever. "i.. i don’t know."

Ubbe glanced the other over with slight worry. He had yet to find out about Poet's condition, so he just figured the other didn't want to go anywhere. He merely shrugged his shoulders. "Very well." he said, flicking his ear. He glanced around, taking in the environment. "So how'd you find this place?" he asked.
