ASSEMBLY [★] RAISE HELL - Tena M. - 07-28-2019

"Elysium!" The petite Demdji lashed her tail as she stood within the large cavern, distinct blue eyes bright with a fierce kind of light. "Gather for an assembly!" They had an interesting agenda for sure. A mixed agenda. War. Welcomes. Tena found the same large rock she'd listened to Bugpup from and took a seat, her tail continuing to flick to and fro.
"I'd like to welcome any and everyone new, you'll be able to swear in at the end of this, but first we have to talk about the Pitt." She lingered there, a scowl threatening to overtake her relatively pleasant demeanor. "If those rotten slavers think they can waltz into our land, burn down part of our home and get away unscathed, they're dead. Wrong." No trial needed, as far as she was concerned. "From what I've heard, they've stirred up trouble the Typhoon and Tanglewood recently too, having been at odds with them well before deciding to try picking on us. So we're going to teach them a lesson for biting off more than they can chew."
"The Typhoon's captain, Goldenluxury stopped by with supplies and a simple offer -- we join their fight against the Pitt. No strings attached." No favors. No long-term alliances. "But we're a community, and if anyone has issue with us joining forces with the Typhoon and Tanglewood, speak now and we can discuss it together."

SOME SAY I HAVE NO DIRECTION — Bugpup had been lazily chasing after a bug within one of the smaller caverns when he heard a loud call from the really big cavern he had poked his head into once or twice, and he ended up jumping in surprise. Still, he turned around and dashed enthusiastically to where Tena was speaking, finding a spot to sit down before plopping down and tilting his head. He listened intently to what the leader had to say, but his understanding of what she was talking about gradually broke down when she started talking about the Pitt. Confusion spreading over the pup's face, he stretched a paw up in the air before barking, "Excuse me, miss Tena? Who are The Pitt...? They sound mean.." He was blissfully unaware of the recent feud the Pitt had been cultivating with literally everyone else. — THAT I'M A LIGHTSPEED DISTRACTION

[font=trebuchet ms]Calls for an assembly were rare, only reserved for the most important of causes, and the issue of the Pitt was most definitely important. Therefore, the moment Straw heard Tena's voice ringing through the cavern, she hurried over to the rock. Sure enough, Tena began by immediately addressing the Pitt. Straw remembered Goldenluxury showing up with gifts and a request for aid against the Pitt, having been the first to find her.
After thinking about that request for a few days, Straw had decided that that was probably the best idea. Fighting wasn't her strong suit at all, and war could be dangerous, but if the Pitt was going to pick a fight, Elysium couldn't just let that stand. Letting yourself get hurt once without retribution opened the door to people trying to exploit you again. Besides, if the Typhoon and Tanglewood would be aiding in the fight, they could probably beat the Pitt without any major casualties.
Unless the Pitt had some sort of trick up their sleeve, which she wouldn't have put past them. They had to be cautious.
Straw shook her head, to signal that she had no issue with the idea. Glancing over at Bugpup, she raised a paw to adjust her mask, then answered, "Other group. They burned the observatory." Actually, speaking of the observatory, it occurred to her that there had been a recent... incident. A killing, that presumably hadn't been solved. Turning back to Tena, she asked, "Did Tanglewood have an... answer? For who committed the murder?"

The youth decided with great certainty he disliked the Pitt, since they attacked them with no provacation. Worse, it seemed no one liked them at all. An intelligent warrior didn't allow himself to be surrounded. A sure way to get killed. A fool's strategy, ergo their ardent a fool, Conrí supposed.
The wolf rocked on his paws, eyes briefly scanning the gathered for his older sister. No sign. Biting back disappointment he turns back to Tena, brightening up as she asked for opinions. He nodded immediately, eyes fierce. "We should fight together." Three-on-one.
Indeed, with three attacking groups, they could surround and conduct an assalt on multiple fronts. The Pitt would see justice for every group they hurt. The canine sat back, seemingly satisfied until Straw spoke, blinking. Tena must've gone and spoke to Tanglewood then. Hopefully, they had an answer, and he looked to the magna curiously.
