Nowhere man, please listen [return] - Dimitri - 07-13-2019

[table][tr][td]
Sometimes, he just vanished into thin air. He didn't smell of anywhere, and he was dirty from a lack of care. Dimitri felt more alone than every before, it was hard for him to summon the courage to out and talk to people, he didn't want to bug anyone. He found some small amount of joy in being alone, but it also filled him with self-loathing the intrusive idea that everyone hated him. Dimitri found it immensely difficult to connect with others, and wondered if it was easier to not interact at all.
Maybe that's why he was here now, inspecting what was his former house of Sunhaven, paws dragging through the dust, and making shapes in the floor.

He'd been gone a long time; he still wasn't a fan of the Elysium territory, parts of it reminded him too much of Snowbound, nor was he a fan of the other half of it. Dimitri, dropping his bag from his mouth with a dusty thump, started sniffing around what was left of his possessions, finding the occasional crayon with bite marks, bottle caps or other various knickknacks. They, collectively, had a hoarding problem and what was left of that evidence was here.

Maybe they'd let him move back in? He'd been gone a while. He doubted anyone remembered them.

Re: Nowhere man, please listen [return] - Tena M. - 07-14-2019

Tena Moonspinner
As circumstance happened, at least one did remember Dimitri.  Not in great detail, but more in passing.  So many came and went; the Demdji struggled to remember every face that had past her by through the years.  Some of the past stuck fast while others faded like dust in the wind.  Some made her smile.  Others made her hurt.  Some brought emptiness in the wake of their memory.  A hollow feeling in her heart but not a single tear.

Tena only blinks when she passes by the house, pausing as she sensed another creature near.  A semi-familiar face greeted her as she peered inside.  His name...  "Dimitri." The petite sand cat smiled; her bright, lopsided grin in warm welcome.  "Welcome back -- it's good to see you." Whether or not they had been friends hardly mattered; the young magna felt thrilled to see old faces return, especially after Sunhaven became Elysium with the Ascendants.

"Do you need any help with anything... If you are settling back in, that is; I don't mean to be presumptuous.  I'm just happy to see a familiar face." Afterall, he could just be gathering things -- she hoped not.  "Regardless I'm happy to lend a paw."
