If it was a regular animal or human, it would mean that it would have grown increasingly frustrated by now for having yet to uncover any clues as to where the nearest humans were. It was coming across strange animals that should not exist, and that was becoming detrimental to its coding, causing the A.I. inside of its head to stop its train of thought completely just to fix what is considered to be a malfunction. It wasn't allowed to think for itself, but without any further orders, it wasn't just going to stop its investigation. It still needed to gather information on exactly what it didn't know, but keeping the Lieutenant safe was the most important option. The android couldn't possibly fail while a life was on the line, especially in the wild where anything could probably happen. At this point, it was common for the android to begin walking around to find anything sentient that it could speak with as a means of gathering information in the current area. It knew that humans existed somewhere nearby, as there were human landmarks sprinkled across the landscape. If a place was abandoned, there was usually human activity at least in the adjacent area, especially if the landmark was historically important. Humans enjoyed remembering their history and saving monuments that were important events in the past. RK did not see the appeal in doing so, as humans always seemed to be too apparent about the past that they left to behind and constantly referenced it. RK515 did not remember its past before the humans started to run experiments on it, and it did not go searching for what it was once before. Those memories would simply take up storage in its databank.
RK515 also did not belong to the group, despite smelling like the Pitt. This did not mean that it served the group, as the thought of serving animals seemed to be a waste of its potential. It was capable of learning, but there were still facts about this world that seemed strange to the canine. Instead of finding a logical explanation to these strange things, RK515 simply decided not to spend too much time on the matter and simply move on to something that it does understand. Anything illogical could easily spark a malfunction in its delicate coding, and this could lead to issues later on down the line. RK515 knew what deviancy was, and it didn't want to deviate. All it wanted to do was its job. It seemed as if almost everything was robbed from it, and now it was stuck in the wilderness where it didn't belong. The Eurasian timber wolf scuffed the ground with its metal claws as it walked, its right eye spinning a yellow color. A huff escaped the android's jaws as it still continued to scan the area around it. Compared to last time, there were fewer trees and more open spaces. The sun bore down onto its black K9 vest and its black and silver fur. It was a couple of minutes later that RK515 was able to pick up the sound of breathing nearby. With the way it sounded, it sounded rather large. It had come across larger creatures than itself the past several weeks that it had been here. RK515 slowed its movement and looked around for the source of the breathing, keeping low to the ground in case it was a predator. The former K9 unit soon caught sight of something massive laying underneath a tree. The largest thing that RK515 had knowledge of was a blue whale, and it certainly wasn't as large as that, but what made it strange is that it did not resemble any animal that was in RK515's databanks. Seeing how large the creature was, RK515 crouched down near the ground and trike to hide in the taller grass underneath the small patches of trees that it was near. The android was around 20ft away from the large creature. Its right eye began to twitch as it attempted the scan the organism to gather any clue of what it could be. Scanning Organic..... Approach With Caution As the errors processed through RK515's coding, another AI inside of its system, Maria, began to scan through the errors and attempt to clear them from his system. The issues with errors are that they clogged his systems and more. The Eurasian timber wolf's right eye swirled red as it tried to process them. At the same time, there was an increase in its breathing rate. The creature that it was looking at couldn't be real. There was just a malfunction in its optical sensors. That's all it could really be. Robots couldn't hallucinate, as least there were no records of it. The response from is systems was certainly concerning, but RK515 did not speak and remained hidden. Maybe the image would eventually disappear. One thing that the canine did not know how to do was hide its scent, and it was available for anyone to smell in the nearby area. |
