Despite his age, the albino serval was an esteemed fighter. He had been taught how to fight at an incredibly young age and because of that, he learned his own fighting style. His fighting style mostly consisted of stealth and quick attacks that would overwhelm his opponents. Of course, with his size, he was somewhat limited to what he was capable of doing, but that didn't mean that he would be easily beaten by creatures that were larger than him. Using his speed to dodge powerful attacks, he could easily fight with long-range attacks thanks to his elemental powers. If he didn't have his powers, well, he would still use his speeds for the fact that he was a serval and the second fastest land animal right after that of a cheetah. He had an edge in that regard, but his white coat didn't provide much cover in the terms of camouflage, so he did have to be careful in where he tried to hide. Maybe that was why he enjoyed Snowbound to such a considerable level because he was able to blend into the terrain with ease and not have to worry about getting spotted. The assassin was known for his stealth, and even those in Elysium were starting to realize that him popping out of seemingly nowhere was common. It was a nice change of pace to see those that were shocked to see him somewhere and brought him a small amount of joy as he hadn't lost his touch just yet. He didn't blame his family for teaching him the way that they did, because it has allowed him to survive up to this point. Sure, the training was cruel, but with the enemies that he had gained or even fought against, that training kept him alive. To see him fight all out was certainly unsettling, as he did not seem to really care about his own health and would happily let himself get injured if it gave him an advantage or allowed him to close the distance between an opponent. He even ended up dislocating his shoulder during simple spars when he was pinned down, giving him seconds to roll out from the weight of the larger animal he usually went against. Killua wouldn't remain small forever, as he would almost be the size of a medium-sized dog once he was full grown. However, he didn't need to be larger to be able to go up against larger opponents. He has slain dragons, leaders, he could take anything on. Still, in his mind, he believed that most clanners and tribes didn't dedicate enough time in educating children on how to fight. Sure, Circusclown taught him that introducing death and fighting to someone really young could have adverse effects, but even the adults were weak. Circusclown wasn't in any form weak, but Killua knew that if he went all out there was a chance that he could beat the domestic cat in a fight if he really wanted to kill him. He had nearly killed his mentor once before when the former leader had come across him killing someone near the edge of the group that he leads, in a means of self-defense. Killua luckily stopped himself from being influenced by his brother to kill the male, and instead opted to flee from Circusclown that day.

Killua knew that Elysium didn't likely have that many strong fighters. Some of them had powers, and Rin had killed someone, but that didn't mean that they would be able to take on an entire raid of animals without getting seriously injured. Medics basically did not exist in this group, and a small injury could easily lead to infection. He knew that Stark was more than capable of fighting, especially with the technology that he builds for himself. Killua is slightly jealous that Stark is able to make such things while Killua is only capable of fighting and not really having any other hobbies. The albino serval's main concern were those that couldn't fight. There was a recent influx of children that had recently arrived on Elysium territory, and in order to make sure that none of them were captured and killed, everyone would have to be in top condition. Maybe he was just paranoid. Killua wouldn't have argued against the fact that he was. It was one of the many reasons why he was still alive after all. He was a strategist and constantly thinking ahead to make sure that he had a perfect plan in place, and backup plans if something happened he hadn't planned for. He was once a part of raids but never participated in group wars. He was lethal and knew that his fighting style was very hard to replicate. Right now, his attention was London. She was back in the clans, and she had never been a fighter in Snowbound for obvious reasons. She was his first friend, and he wasn't about to let anything happen to her, but in the off chance that he wasn't around to protect her, she was going to need to protect herself till he got there. He was the protector of everyone, but even then there weren't five different versions that were constantly on the watch, as there were only one of him. So, he had asked London if she would be willing to train with him a little bit, and she agreed. He knew that he was going to have to be careful with his claws, but he also needed to gauge what her current fighting level was. It couldn't possibly be that bad considering that she had lived by herself for a couple of months when she left Snowbound. Yet... why was he nervous? He never trained anyone in his life. He wasn't a good teacher. He was blunt, but London didn't care about that, at least he hoped she didn't. Electricity flickered between his claws as he paced back and forth near the trees. Maybe he should have gotten some sleep, and then maybe his nerves wouldn't have felt like they were on fire. He was an assassin, this wasn't the hardest thing that he had ever done. He just had to make sure he didn't hurt her. That was all. Settling in the meadow near the edge of the territory, where it would provide them enough room to move around, he sat himself down and flexed his claws in the ground. His ears were constantly on a swivel as he was even beginning to patrol with his enhanced senses on. Koru was nowhere near him, as he left the snake back in his cave so that the albino black mamba wouldn't think this was actual fighting and intervene.

Re: WE CAN SWITCH IT UP LIKE THAT | LONDON - london r. - 07-09-2019

War and battle, that had never really interested London much, and as a kid, she hadn't felt the need to worry about that. She'd had other things to worry about, like her brothers. She hadn't learned fighting back then, but she had learned how to hunt from her mother, because having six mouths to feed wasn't easy for Mum to do on her own, and the other four were incapable of helping out when their conditions were steadily growing worse because of illness. Mum had once tried to teach London how to fight, just in case she might need it, but after an accidental scratch had become a pool of blood that training was over. With her having inherited father's blood condition, it was just safer not to risk it.

That didn't mean that London didn't want to learn how to fight, in fact, she did. She wanted to be able to protect and defend the people she cared about. And after watching her father die in a brawl, that became far more obvious. Medical knowledge and battle skills were things she desperately needed to acquire, and after having already dabbled in medicine a fair amount, the only thing left was for her now was to learn how to fight. To have Killua offer to teach her was incredibly nice of him, especially since she knew what an incredible fighter he was. He had been there to protect her in Snowbound when Guru attacked, and she was still grateful for that.

Arriving at the clearing in which they would be practicing, London tried her best to seem excited and ready to learn, but seeing Killua appear to be a little on edge didn't exactly appease her already present nervousness. "Hi." the albino clouded leopard greeted with a smile. She felt a little bad for not having brought anything to give Killua as a gift for these lessons, but she there was plenty of time to shower her friend with gifts later. Now was a time to focus and not let her mind wander off.

Hiding emotions was something that Killua did best. This wasn't the most difficult thing he had ever done in his entire life. There was one specific assassination that had been the most difficult because it took place in a tall abandoned human building. It took him weeks to be able to memorize the routes of the guards that would constantly walk through the building. Not to mention that during this time they were hiring more guards and getting rid of some of them. There was also an approaching deadline for when the client wanted to have their target dead. This was during early on in his assassination career that he needed to worry about getting the job done correctly and being able to get out of there with his life. The target was someone that was in the political field. Even if there weren't exactly clan politics, there were plenty of gangs and loner groups that had to have some relation with other individuals in the area in some shape or form. It seemed like the creature didn't seem all that good of a reputation as someone wanted them killed. If someone had an assassin after them, they usually deserved it. This did not mean that the clients were angels themselves and could be just as bad. Eventually, someone would send an assassin after the client, and if they wanted to hire his family and were willing to pay they would happily go after that client that had hired them before. He was able to memorize the form of his target, a cougar, ironic. The job itself nearly took a month to complete, and he was able to slip into the building during a meeting that was being held in one of the higher stories. He had different types of equipment with him at the time, and he believed the best way to deal with this kind of job was to poison the target and get out of there. Killua had found his way toward where they were storing all their food. The albino serval had no idea what meal the creature would choose, and instead poisoned several different pieces of food. It was during this time that a guard began to walk around the corner and Killua was luckily enough to hear him before he rounded the corner.

He hid in a nearby vent of the building and waited for the guard to pass. Killua could distinctly remember how fast his heart was beating at that moment, practically able to hear the heartbeat in his ear. He nearly got caught several times during the mission, but he never ended up getting injured and was a success. From there, he had returned home back to his family with evidence that the kill had been made. Compared to that, this hardly required all that much planning. It just needed to be the basics, as most animals tended to have when they were younger as they needed to hunt for their own food after all. The former Snowbound deputy could easily hear London making her way toward the clearing, having his enhanced senses on to carefully listen to the surrounding area. Killua, of course, didn't expect London to give him anything for these lessons. Her safety was more than enough. His sapphire blue eyes found her form as she entered the clearing, and a small grin spread across his features as he forced himself to remain calm and focus what they were here to do. Hearing her greeting, Killua raised one of his paws and waved. "Yo." Killua said casually as he got up onto his paws. He stretched himself, arching his back as he did so. He was the instructor here, and he wasn't entirely sure how to do this either. He walked forward so that there wouldn't be all that much distance between them, but still being aware of their personal bubbles. "Alright, let's start off simple." Killua commented as the grin was gone from his face and a neutral look replaced it. "I want you to attack me." This was the simple instruction that was made toward the albino clouded leopard, and it was said in a serious tone. "Don't worry about hurting me, I'll be fine. Use any powers you have because I'll be using mine because more often than not you will be going up against someone that at least has one power. And if you're used to fighting against someone with powers, fighting someone without them will be easy." Killua explained what was going to happen. However, he wasn't entirely sure if the female would use her claws like he usually did in spars. If she did, that was fine with him, but he wouldn't do that to her out of fear of injuring her.

The way he said that made it sound like the simplest thing. As if suddenly attempting to attack your friend was just a casual occurrence. But with actual fighting, there was a lot of planning that went into every attack, and the longer you thought about your moves, the longer an opponent has to think of ways to counter and retaliate against whatever you throw at them. "Okay." London replied with a nod of her head.

Seeing that there wasn't much distance between them, there were a lot of options as to how she could try to attack Killua, but instead of clumsily rushing at him, she figured she'd play to her own strengths. And so the girl would bunch up her hind legs and attempt to leap over Killua, using her tail to twist in the air so she would land facing his back. As soon as her feet touched the ground, she would swiftly attempt to knock his legs out from underneath him, making sure her claws were sheathed. Regardless of if this worked or not, she then flinched. Trying to hurt Killua just seemed so wrong, but then again she wouldn't get any better at fighting without some kind of sparring session.
