dancing with the devil || JERISIDE'S PUNISHMENT - Jervis - 07-03-2019

[glow=#2b0505,2,300]SELF-ENTITLED[/glow]
Consider this a lesson.

Anyone who stepped out of line was next. It just happened to be that this group of Lingré members had caused trouble first. Jervis could care less about their family name, nor their purpose behind the drama that came up at the border. All he knew is that they spilled blood of their own kind. Whether it was new or old members, the ardent did not care. If they were going to become a true Pittian, they would succumb to what punishment that followed.

Upon Jerisidie's return, he seemed unaware in the changes that followed Stryker's reign. The lion was a fool. His morals were skewed towards a modified way of justice and correction of wrongdoing. For a warbound clan, it seemed almost improper. The Pitt was supposed to be doing the wrongdoing and exploiting what they could, not preventing it. Perhaps the members of the old reign didn't get it yet, but that was the direction they were heading in. If they weren't going to succumb to their new era, then there would be proper punishment. Just as Jerisidie was about to receive.

The white hellhound had been strapped up on the stage. Metal chains wrapped tightly around their ankles and kept him in place for all to see. In the meantime, his right leg towards his rear was flatly lied out on an oak table while the rest of his body remained standing upright. Sort of looked like he was being forced to piss on a nonexistent fire hydrant. Quite the painful position, really. Off to the side was another Pittian. Their figure was encapsulated in the shadows of the stage. What their purpose was remained a secret.

Jervis stood in the middle of the stage, not far from his victim. "Pittians, gather," he boldly announced. From there, he would wait. What they were going to do was going to be announced very shortly.

Re: dancing with the devil || JERISIDE'S PUNISHMENT - stella - 07-07-2019

[align=center][div style=" background-color: transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 550px; min-height: 9px; font-family: arial; line-height: 109%; text-align: left; padding: 20px;font-size: 12px;"]'pittians, gather'

the simple command rolled around lazily within the rather blank mind of the nephilim child before they finally began to take meaning. oh.. that meant stella too. well, she supposed that meant herself as well. it hard for the feline to see herself as anything but a mildly anxious tourist rather than a cold-blooded pittian who relishes in warfare. if that was the prerequisites for being a true pittian of course. stella didn't quite think so - even if the child thought quite lowly of the pitt's way of life - she had to admit not every single one of the members here was a knucklehead with an unquenchable thirst for blood. some just liked it here? there were a few strange faces that came to mind when stella lamented on benevolent pittians; a rather short list that did not include the leader's familiar mug, or the one he held beneath him as a clear display of gross power. the latter simply not included merely because stella had never actually seen the boy before. who was he?

curiously drawn to the command bellowed out by the vulpine leader, lavender eyes gazed up to the sight of of the unfamiliar hellhound all bound up in a rather odd position. it was a spectacle to behold truly... but not entirely in stella's taste. or anyone with half a heart's taste either really.

"oh my lord.." muttering under her breath too quiet for anyone but herself to make out the words, stella kept her gaze trained on the white hellhound and the vulpine leader interchangeably. well, this was truly the pitt in which stella had anticipated. but to be here - commanded by the leader to watch as he toyed with an existence other than his own for his primitive amusement- it was not like any fantasy stella could have imagined.

jerisidie - the king !
[align=center]
the first thing that came to his mind was mute boredom. let the child have his fun, he had other things to do after all. his right leg, the one laid out, had been badly mauled by none other than a brute of a man he had known in his past. the insult was truly in the position he was being held in.

the gore of his leg was horrible and the wounds were beginning to smell of infection, a nasty scent to be sure. the pain? that, he didn't mind, he relished it. pain made sure that the oldblood knew he was alive still, that his existence wasnt just ... there.

rolling his shoulders slowly and listening to each crack and pop, the hellhound turned his scarred face to jervis, rolling his eye at the way the other was dressed, "childlike. truly. have your fun, cub, i find it amusing.", he murmurs with a twitch of his ear. if anything, he appeared to be bored with the entire situation.

his gaze wandered over the few gathering before the spectacle of this 'punishment'. children, that was what he saw. at least to him, the girl that watched was a child for she looked petite and young, especially with the look of perhaps confusion and distaste upon her visage. the one person he prayed wouldn't show up would be his partner, one of many, nari. he knew that his partner would challenge jervis over what was happening here, the question was how he was going to soothe the liger's rage. perhaps a repeat of how they first met?

Re: dancing with the devil || JERISIDE'S PUNISHMENT - | RK515 | - 07-08-2019

regular text - "[glow=#212121,2,200]speaking[/glow]" -

Cruelty and torture. Aspects of sentient creatures that RK515 had knowledge on. Humans were no inherently cruel, but there were some instances when one needed to be exactly that in order to get information. Working for a Police Department made it to where there were plenty of rumors going around on how corrupt the force actually was and how they were always thinking about shooting first rather than later. RK515 could see both sides of the story, as shooting first allowed fewer actions for the suspect to do that would end up jeopardizing the life of the officer as well. On the other end, if the police officer was mistaken, it could mean losing the life of an innocent human and that could easily taint the police department's name. The precinct that it worked for wasn't considered to be the worst one out there, but it wasn't the perfect batch either. The police officers that RK515 came into contact with were grizzled and could easily come off as rude to someone that wasn't prepared to be treated in that way. Lieutenant Hal was similar in that way, but in no ways was the former detective any means of cruel or corrupt. Sure, the man had plenty of drinks as soon as he arrived at home, but that didn't mean that he was going to become corrupt for his actions. RK515 had been designed with the ability for interrogation, alongside a human to keep track of its actions at all time to make sure that it didn't accidentally kill a suspect. Intimidation was a key feature in the design of the unit, as it would more likely induce cooperation in a suspect along with its presence. Before it was officially released to the police department, it was shown videos of different tortures and important interrogation for specific cases. It could not speak in the human language, and instead, it was mostly used to provide pressure to acquire answers to those that were being questioned. RK515 responded to calls of physical abuse conducted between humans and knew that humans could be inherently violent. This also meant that with the new world that it was living in, that animals were more than likely crueler than humans could ever be. They were animals after all, and it had been raised to be more human than animal and could not relate to becoming animalistic. Either way, RK515 did not have any emotions or opinions on any form of interrogation, but it did have an opinion in physical abuse against other humans as it was against the law. It had been programmed to acquire the knowledge of all human laws, and any law that is broken needed to be addressed no matter how small. The more law-breakers it was able to prosecute the more efficient and beneficial the unit was considered to be.

RK515 still needed more knowledge on the area that it and Hal were currently occupying. So far, there was not that it considered being deemed a threat, or at least a threat that it would not be able to handle with its current functions. The android still had the goal of looking for any nearby humans and their whereabouts. It still was somewhat cautious of its own actions as a means not to damage itself, as there were no longer facilities that are capable of replacing its parts if it did get damaged. The Eurasian timber wolf had yet to show actually acting like an animal and hasn't eaten since it arrived in this strange environment along with Lieutenant Hal. Its slower metabolism allowed it to go several days without eating and continue to maintain optimum function while in the field. Hal was going to become a different matter as the former human was going to need some form of sustenance at some point or face starvation. Sadly, RK515 did not realize this, but eventually, it would be able to figure out this realization on its own whenever Hal would approach it next. RK515 was starting to learn that the animals in the area were almost as complicated as humans were. They seemed to express forms of human emotion and expressed almost perfect speech when communicating with different species. Never having talked to another animal in its own existence, it did not believe that animals were capable of expressing their thoughts in the same language. It was slowly adapting and conforming to the environment that it was in, while at the same time continuing to follow the protocols and regulations that had been embedded into its mind. The android would still prefer being around humans than animals, as it seemed to fit into that environment better than the wild. The creature did not have any experience for hunting its own food, and the feeling of having grass under its mechanical paws and not concrete was not a sensation it was used to. There were no nerve endings in its mechanical legs, but the terrain could still feel different based on the way that its legs responded to the different surface. Its design was supposed to be all-terrain, but it was fairly certain that its creators never would have thought it would have been put in this situation. RK515 did not appreciate having to walk around the sand and instead remained near the temple to investigate them for clues of any recent human life. The sand was capable of getting in between its metal components in its leg, causing it to stop every couple of steps to clean out the areas to avoid any abrasion that could injure the inner components of the leg.

RK515 did not have a significant amount of knowledge on a group of animals such as the Pitt. It did not know if they were organized under specific leadership, or if it was just a free for all. Most groups of animals, such as prides or packs, were looked over by a specific animal in that specific group in order to keep every animal in check. The android had yet to see any of this being expressed in this place, and this made him only want to learn more and to figure out if places were similar in this way. The only important piece of information that it knew was that this group was at war with another group, but it seemed that the majority of those that it came across was not affected in any way. At least, from the scans that it conducted it could not find any evidence of destruction across the temples other than natural decay of the human structure. RK515 kept to itself most of the time and only approached residents if it had questions that it wanted to be answered. So far it met no resistance with its questions and most animals openly answered them. This time, its enhanced senses were able to pick up a familiar voice. A voice that had come across Hal and it across the edge of the territory of the Pitt. The android made sure to commit every voice it came into contact with to memory for easier identification in the future. It took only a couple of seconds for the android to begin to make its way toward the voice, wondering what could be going down that the animals in this group would commence gathering. As it neared the edge of the stage, its right eye began to swirl a yellow hue as it began to scan the area in front of it and identify the species present.

Scanning Organisms...

Scan Complete...

Species: Red Fox
    Scientific name: Vulpes vulpes

Organism Age: Mature

Sex: Male

Condition: Severe Injury, Possible Loss Of Sight In Right Eye

Species: Domestic Cat
      Scientific Name: Felis catus

Organism Age: 11 Months ... Sub Adult

Sex: Female

Condition: Showing Signs Of Stress

Species: Arctic Wolf [?]
      Scientific Name: Canis lupus arctos

Sex: Male

Condition: Hind-Leg Showing Signs Of Infection & Deteriation

Outcome: Untreated Will Lead To Organism Death

The creature that was tied up to the stage certainly just looked like a normal Arctic wolf, but there were small changes in its anatomy that made RK515 not entirely sure if it was the case. It could simply be that the animal was a hybrid, and being able to identify hybrid components were difficult without a DNA test. Its yellow and brown eye soon turned toward the chains that were holding the creature down onto the ground or the stage in this matter. The chains were even more evidence of humans that existed in this area, and he still did not manage to find any concrete evidence of any recent activity from humans. Its mechanical parts didn't make all that much noise as it approached from the side, its eye beginning to grow a soft blue after having conducting all the scans. The former K9 unit did not seem all that concerned as to what might end up happening to the canine that was on the stage at this moment, as it wasn't capable of feeling any sort of emotion. "[glow=#212121,2,200]What is all this?[/glow]" RK515 would question in a slightly mechanical voice, but there was no emotion to the question that it did ask. To the android, it almost seemed like the fox was about to sacrifice the larger canine on stage, as a means of appealing to a higher being. This was found in human history, performing sacrifices on top of temples. Were the animals trying to replicate this? This is the answer that it was looking for, as it kept its distance from anyone that was gathered.

FOURTHWALL FALLOUT
[size=9pt]BLACK/GOLD HELLHOUND - MALE - 19 MONTHS - THE PITT

He had been among the first to welcome Jerisidie to the clan when they'd first shown up on the Pitts border, but as was the case with all of his clanmates, Fourth had yet to be inspired to loyalty among them. He fought in their raids and patrolled their borders, but there were none among them that he considered a friend or ally. And so, as curious as it was to see the white canine chained to the platform with his gruesome injuries, there was no outrage or disgust at what he was seeing. If anything there was only a morbid curiosity toward what Jervis was up to.  More and more often the arrogant fox had been acting like he tyrant the clan needed, and Fourth wondered if he would take it too far, or finally inspire the Pittians around him.

The massive creature that was Fourthwall made his way over to join the others in silence, wine red eyes glinting but unreadable as they shifted from Jerisidie to Jervis. The hybrid would come a stop beside a smaller Eurasian wolf he hadn't met before, curious at to weather the fox king would give a proper answer or threaten to add them to the chopping block for their curiosity.

Re: dancing with the devil || JERISIDE'S PUNISHMENT - Jervis - 07-18-2019

[glow=#2b0505,2,300]SELF-ENTITLED[/glow]
While the crowd arrived, it seemed their victim had something to say. Perhaps words of defiance? Jervis, listening intently, let out a huff of annoyance. Jersidie's mocking words shook the ardent to the core, but they weren't going to save him from his damning fate. Hell, they even qualified for further punishment. Anyone standing up to such a barbarous leader was bound to get a great deal of pain dealt to them. Even if it was a mere bystander, just like the passionate [member=6177]Nari[/member] or decietful Fourthwall. Anyone within the vulpine's path would fall.

Disregarding Jersidie for the moment, his eyes shifted towards the mechanical voice within the crowd. They questioned what was before them. RK515 seemed intelligent enough to put the pieces together, but Jervis noticed that the modified canine always had to question the obvious, almost like a curious child. Golden eyes merely squinted at him. "Well, what do you think it is, mecha?" he snorted. The name-calling was a low blow at RK515's prosthetics. "Eugh." Fourthwall happened to be accurate in his prediction. Jervis did not give a straight answer whatsoever.

Instead, he would indirectly speak the answer RK515's desired to the audience. "Hellhounds, felines, and canines alike are supposed to be treated equally within The Pitt-" Minus him of course. The ardent is very prominent position. "-and if anyone is to mess with the equality within our ranks, they are in for a hell of a ride." A menacing glare shifted to all those involved in the predicament at the border, including turning his head towards Jerisidie in the process. They were all going to get their fair share of justice.

His tail grazed over Jerisidie's side mockingly. He made no effort in moving it away, as the male was restrained and unable to retaliate without being killed. "This miscreant here," he spat, "Decided to dig his claws into one of our own." The vulpine rose from the floor and began to lurk around the stage as he spoke. He paced among the stage's edge. "Consider this a warning to anyone who does the same, as much worse will follow." Eyes with an almost threatening glint stared downwards at his audience. Ivory teeth seeped out from the edge of his maw as he began to smirk, begging them to make the wrong decision so he could show The Pitt what he was capable of.

Then he pulled back. The ardent wandered behind the table and signaled the hidden figure to walk forward. From the darkness, a jet-black lion emerged with teeth bared. As they sauntered over, they mockingly snapped their drool-laced fangs in Jerisidie's direction. Lustful and willing, they stepped forward and paused by the edge of the table. Deranged eyes focused in on the canine's ankle. Dagger-like canines hovered over Jerisidie's secured paw in impatient anticipation. Thick slobber rolled down from their maw and gracefully fell onto the victim's leg.

"Do it."

In a swift movement, sharp canines breached Jerisidie's ankle. With teeth latching onto the canine's leg, he began to tug. With every pull, the leg's tendons began to split away from the body. Bones dislocated, muscles strained, and finally the skin gave away after an agonizing minute. The lion ripped at the leg with one last tug. With an immense amount of strength, the haunches gave way. Blood began to pour from the hollow crevice of where the leg once was, staining the leftover leg within the lion's jaws and Jerisidie's fur.

Jervis watched in pleasure. He said nothing as the ceremony happened, but the actions here today spoke a thousand words. With the deed done, he dismissed the lion. The punisher carried the leg away, disappearing back into the shade. They were going to take the leg to the border, remove the bone, and then place the remaining parts on a spike. Though it was not a head, it was an addition to their border's collection. It was a cruel reminder to The Pitt and their enemies. None would leave, nor would enter, without proclaiming loyalty.

The ardent had no sympathy for the wolf at this point and wasn't going to acknowledge his wounds whatsoever. He expected the same from his group. They hopefully, if they hadn't already, knew that they were in danger if they made any move to help him. "Let him bleed," he scoffed.

Without another care in the world, he strutted off. There was nothing else to acknowledge and he'd much rather pamper himself than to watch a weak traitor squirm, even if it was enthralling.
