[glow=#000,2,300]☣ —[/glow] To say that the bunker was a pleasant place to lay down was bonkers. Being succumbed in the darkness in damp conditions was savagery, especially when unidentified corpses were scattered across the setting. Hell, even the smell that radiated the place made any normal being hyperventilate. Sadly, after being down here for so long, one got used to the environment. The stench faded away quick, but getting used to the darkness was worse. Eventually he knew his way around after some faulty mishaps and discovered what was within the place. Anything available was used to his advantage. Those rotting corpses were determined to be impromptu pillows eventually and their pelts became blankets during the chilly nights. Even so, Stryker would take this any day over what he endured within The Pitt.

The lion paced throughout the room. His paws reached out in front of him, feeling at the floor for a moment before taking another step. As he did so, Stryker spoke to himself in a cocky tone. He was lightly making fun of himself for throwing himself into another hell hole, as comedy had always been his getaway. ”Oh yeah,” he gawked sarcastically. ”You really thought this plan out real well, ‘ol Stryky.” A huff left him. He paused with his hanging down towards the floor in disappointment. ”Crikey.”

As he continued his wild muttering, light faded in from above. The pale moonlight seeped through the hatch’s entrance and shined down on Stryker, causing his neon orbs to squint at the bright opening. Still blinded, the newcomer couldn’t see what laid in front of him.
