SLEEP WITH THE FISHES / fisherman's feast - bubblegum - 06-23-2019 I HEARD, I HEARD ACROSS A MOONLIT SEA
THE OLD VOICE WARNING ME
BEWARE, BEWARE THE DAUGHTER OF THE SEA
BEWARE, BEWARE OF ME.
[align=center]Similar to the seaman's challenge, she was thoroughly excited for the competition - more so than the others. Reading on fish and studying the different organisms within the waters had always been something so interesting to her, and she appreciated the mass abundance of food it all provided. Even when they'd had to evacuate the territory, fish were there most reliable source of food, and they still varied plenty in flavor, with so many different kinds swimming around all the time. She ought to invite Tanglewood over for the feast at the end - show them a taste of true Typhoon cuisine. The female stood in between the docks and Barracuda Bay, giving her crewmates the option of utilizing their sailboats for easier travelling and to be able to hold more fish at once, or just going the old fashioned way. "Yo! It's time for the fisherman's feast! C'mere if ya wanna take part or watch." She'd send them on their way once the competitors made their way over. Re: SLEEP WITH THE FISHES / fisherman's feast - Splitvisage - 06-28-2019 [font=trebuchet ms]Darksouls knew basically nothing about fishing, having gone from living underground to feeding off of grasses and lichen. He had heard stories told of his ancestors, and how they had occasionally resorted to eating fish, but he had never been in a situation where it was an efficient strategy. Still, his antlers could probably be used to scoop up an unsuspecting victim, and he did have a bird following him around. Approaching at the captain's call, Darksouls dipped his head in greeting. "Should I ask Inkquill to leave?" he asked, turning to glance at the bird perched on his back. There had been no rule against having company, but he got the feeling that it might violate the spirit of the contest to have Inkquill assist him. |
