I’ve lost the moon while trying to count the stars - joining - Casphian - 06-20-2019

Jupiter had been traveling for quite some time now, coming across different clans but never settling at one. He had heard whispers on the wind of the type of clan this was and he just knew this had to be the one he would settle at, or a try least he hoped. The silent tiger had steadily made his way towards the border, gaze drifting across the area as he kept his guard up. This feline wasn’t the type to be caught off guard that easily. Jupiter paced back and forth next to the border, debating how he wanted to get the clans attention but he never did figure it out. Finally he settled down next to a tree, not quite in the Pitt’s territory but close enough. A yawn cause his muzzle to open, showing off his rather large teeth.

" my own illusion come to be "

he would be met by a rumble coming from the trees, a dark pelted jaguar stepping out from the shadows of the burnt trees, cobweb patterning crossing their fur, "I assume you know the border that you have landed yourself on, my friend" they rumble, expression amused despite the jaguar's evident blindness.

Jupiter’s head snapped towards the voice that spoke up, his light blue gaze landing on the jaguar. “I’m very much aware of where I am, I wouldn’t be here if not,” he replied with a rather bored tone. He shifted his gaze from the feline, turning to stare into the territory. He could tell that the other  pups not see but chose not to question it, he knew better than to underestimate someone with a disadvantage.

Re: I’ve lost the moon while trying to count the stars - joining - ARGUS - 06-21-2019

Gus was happier, in the sky then they ever would on land. There was something - some sort of nebula thing a freshness that couldn't be found in the ground. The feeling of wind in the air and just something more - a taste of infinity on the pallet that was hard not to grow addicted to. Argus was very addictive , high off the sensation - and even in the pitt, in a place so close to what was home to them , This feeling couldn't be replicated. It was in a desert they learned how to fly, and it was the desert they regained their ability to flight.

But of course, when one comes up they must also come down. The sight of the stranger had the wolf glide down, wings collapsing to their sides and for a moment - letting gravity bring them down quicker before the same white span caught them. A little higher in the air than the older times where Argus would plunge almost yard away from the ground before catching - but they were still getting used to flying again. It took time, like all good things. All the best things.

As the two sized each other up argus was relaxed, jolly almost that was a touch unprofessional. The edges of Argus and who they used to be blurred here - and for a moment Argus let it happen. "What brings you then, stranger - to the land of blood and slavers?" word was out, though argus had yet to see a lick of either since becoming a part of the group - maybe it was time to change that soon enough. But it was neither here no there. For now they entertained themselves with guest, afterall - maybe there would be a chance to spill some blood here.

How interesting. Another one came. Jervis followed Argus from behind. He looked the unfamiliar tiger in interest, wondering what they could be here for. Seeing that their words were rather blunt, the ardent assumed they had a certain purpose to fulfill for being here. That said, he sniffed at the air. Their scent was unfamiliar. He assumed that this stranger had no alliance due to that, but held his tongue.

Though Argus had already spoke, Jervis put in his two cents. "If you know where you're at, then perhaps you should explain yourself," came his suave comment.

When two other beings quickly gathered around Jupiter it sent the feline into guarded mode as he would call it. He turned his body yo face all three of them, making sure none were to his back. He wasn’t sure who to answer first so he went with the better option of just stating why he was here.  “I come here in sure of a clan, one that does not mind my more deadly personality,” the tiger mused. “I heard of the clan through whispers and came to see if such rumors about the ruthless creatures that reside here were true.”

His ears perked and head turned in interest at Jupiter's response. 'A deadlier personality?' What did that entitle? A rampage against their own clanmates or a revenge-driven bloodlust towards their enemy? The fox only glared at the stranger, awaiting an explanation. Though there was no answer, he wondered that if it was better that he didn't know. "I see," he muttered back. Besides that, that's the only entertainment that comment would be getting.

The ardent remained in his spot. There was no need for any sort of defense at the moment. "Why?" Jervis would reply back. "Do you wish to become one of us?" After all, they didn't express any interest in joining. For all he could know, they could be looking for a fight.

Jupiter rolled his gaze at the question, of course he was here to join. “Well yes my intention of being here was to join,” he mused. The tiger turned his head away, gaze drifting across the two silent ones. He looked away from them, peering out towards the way he came from. “If you would have me I would prefer to settle down in this clan and make myself of use here,” he said.
