somewhere in her memories, ramona could recall a time when she had sat beside her mother and listened to stories over a campfire, and ate rich duck plates and juicy fruits. maybe she could bring those memories back to life? that was something she wanted to try to do, and besides, after the attack and burning by the typhoon and the tanglewood, perhaps, maybe not a fire? well, that was something to think about.

and so, she sat down after gathering her wanted supplies for a feast, some wild meat and wild fowls, including a colorful bird she had somehow managed to catch. alongside the main meats, she had dug up some tubers and other leafy greens for those of them with less than agreeable stomachs for meat. she had even managed to find some figs and citrus fruits. now. for a fire?

there had to be some hot coals from the fire, right? she managed to find some and put a few pieces of meat over the gathered hot coals, her paws smarted now, but oh well. she was careful to grab the meat when it smelt like it was getting really burnt. now, she just had to wait for everyone else to come and eat.
