tip our glasses to no direction ; request - Suiteheart - 04-28-2018 [align=center][div style=" background-color: transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 530px; min-height: 9px; font-family:; line-height: 110%; text-align: justify; padding: 20px"]Suiteheart had been meaning to do this for a while now, but so many things had transpired in the recent days for her to get anything accomplished. She wished she had been better, but you lived and you learned, didn't you? The white feline steadily made her way to the control room, where she knew Starrynight would probably be. Granted, he was probably out and about, but this was her best option. And she could also wait here for him if the need be. "Starry?" Suiteheart called. Hopefully, he would answer. She was starting to get a tad bit nervous, but this was something she had to do. Or try. This could be the first step into righting a lot of her wrongs. Re: tip our glasses to no direction ; request - Starrynight ! - 04-28-2018 Re: tip our glasses to no direction ; request - Suiteheart - 04-29-2018 [align=center][div style=" background-color: transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 530px; min-height: 9px; font-family:; line-height: 110%; text-align: justify; padding: 20px"]Though she was not entirely up to speed with all the troubles brewing between Tanglewood and the Typhoon, she was not foreign to warring Clans/Groups. Back home, she had fought in countless raids and wars. Hell, she had even lead some of the attacks. It was the norm; it was something she expected. And now, as war and fighting loomed on the horizon for the Ascendants, she could not help but be troubled. This place was supposed to be a haven, and she prayed that Starry and the rest would not be forced into something that would reverse this fact. Pulled from these thoughts as the door opened, Suiteheart put a smile on her lips. He seemed to be somewhat distracted as well, and she hoped he was doing alright. "Oh, hey!" she greeted, taking a few seconds to calm her nerves. Why was she so nervous? She'd done these things before! "At the meeting, you had said that if anyone was interested in being an ambassador, they should see you. And I'm interested." The idea of ambassadors sounded good. It could help one group help it's relationship with another group stay balanced and the two groups could possibly stay allies for a good amount of time (hopefully).
The female had noticed Hotelsuites sitting by Starry's door and in her curiosity, she walked over and listened. Ambassadors, huh? "Pardon me for interrupting." Luna mewed. "But I'm interested too." space

Otherwise, he had little interest in their neighbors and frankly did not give much of a shit about politics unless it involved conquering their enemies and anyone who had ever wronged someone Bast cared about. Sure, he would listen and retain any information he came across when it came to neighboring Clans, but he wasn't exactly the type who sought such information out or thrived on political dances. Frankly, he sort of hated politics. Too slimy. That being sad, he understood that ambassadors were important for a healthy group, and appreciated Suite's suggestion. She was a good choice for one, too -- competent, friendly, had her shit together. As he joined them, looking mildly disgruntled with life (no sleep once more), he nodded idly but scowled when Luna joined them. She would be a good ambassador, too -- but that would also mean letting Luna out of his sight long enough to go visit strangers who may or may not kidnap her. Ummm.... no. He shot his mentor a mutinous look, but fortunately did not make a scene about it. Instead he just said with a snort, "Yeah, and I'd like to state that I'd like to avoid being an ambassador basically forever." He was pretty sure that Starry understood Bastille was not exactly the smoothest operator with strangers. He probably should not be the face of the Ascendants in any context. |
