She was weary in her step. Her giant, lumbering paws stepped in the wet tracks as she stepped back forward. The smell of dirt, and sand coated her pelt. Not the wet sand that drifted admist the Typhoon- nay, the dry cracking heat of the desert buzzed around her, but the smell of the Pitt was highly absent. Blood stained her muzzle, and had dried there. It caked her paws, and her leather sheath was soiled with it. Deldrach nearly reveled in the feel of the water against her tawny pelt.

Her eyes, were dull. They had something cold in them, hate burning in them. A new cut was tracing her back. The jaglioness headed for the beach as soon as she got there, traveling past town. She sat down at the sand when she arrived, staring out across the water. He wasn't dead. She knew that- she hadn't been able to kill him, a mix of emotions bubbling up in her chest and screaming at her, her head dense with the unforgivingness of him. Would she tell Goldie at all what she had done? Nay, she wouldn't. She...

She couldn't warn her. Everything that Goldie was doing now depended on not knowing.

I HEARD, I HEARD ACROSS A MOONLIT SEA

ϟ the clash between the eye and the raging storms. ϟ the healing warmth of the sun and the raw brutality of the seas. ϟ the self-fulfilling prophecy and the stolen future. ϟ

BEWARE, BEWARE THE DAUGHTER OF THE SEA
BEWARE, BEWARE OF ME.

The tiger never really knew what the fate of Decius and Deldrach had been (well, up until now, with Deldrach), but it seemed like the male would not ever show himself again - as if he were simply a bad dream. A dark shadow that followed her for months, blinded by a sudden burning light. It was her own doing to let go. To burn down the shack that he had attacked her in. There were a lot of mixed up emotions she'd clung onto, never truly spoke aloud, forebode herself from uttering, but in that act of burning down the shack, those emotions were burned away too. Or at least very least, pushed aside like the ashes. A guilt still remained - knowing she had no idea where Deldrach was or what had happened to her, but it was a guilt she'd learn to live with, until finally the relief of seeing the female's face once more hit her. There is still so much she is holding back from her, so much she wants to say, but she cannot bring herself to. That childish fear still seemed to hold the captain back somehow. Even though she knew that if Decius ever dared show his presence anywhere again she would do anything and everything to destroy every last bit of him, she still held herself back around the female who may understand her words best.

Goldie would not approach the female immediately, simply watching for a moment before deciding to engage. Her interactions with Deldrach are perhaps different than with anyone else, and that is clear simply by the way the golden tiger looked at her. There is almost a silent sadness of sorts, no matter how she presented herself outwardly. Her movements are slow and soft as she moves towards her crewmate, sighing silently with a calm expression. "You smell," was all she'd offer at first, voice soft. The type of sand and dirt that clung to the female was something she would associate with the Pitt, even if the specific scent of their borders was absent, which causes the female to be a bit curious as to what she'd been doing. "Do you need that t' be treated?" Of course, referring to the cut. Unlike many, the female trusts Deldrach to the point she wouldn't ask.

Had she had known Goldie would've killed him on sight, Primus would've burned. His skin scorched, his eyeballs boiling and body seared to death. Had she have known, she would've invited Goldie with her. But all Deldrach knew was the burning panic and guilt that what had happened to Goldie was because of Deldrach- and the Akaodon knew it. Her eyes closed gently as she heard the other big cat approach, ears twitching gently. Thank god Goldie didn't question her about it.

She shot back to the Captain, her tone sarcastic and twisted. Her body was clearly exhausted, and as she got older, Goldie could pick up on it more- the slight tremble in her wrists, the starting curve of her back. Her head turned, glancing at her sandy pelt to see the cut. She shrugged. "It's fine." She remarked, looking back out at the water. Not knowing what else to say, Deldrach shut up and idly stared out to sea.
