NO ONE KNOWS WHAT ITS LIKE | VISITOR - | KILLUA ZOLDYCK | - 05-16-2019

.
(Please note that thanks to Killua's air elementals, he does not have any scent attached to him, meaning that no one will know he is from elysium!)

He. Hated. Sand. He had lost how many times he constantly had to tell himself that when it came to visiting different places now that he had returned to the area. The former Snowbound deputy had a lot to catch up on, and after gathering enough information from Elysium, the wildcat was able to figure out which clans were still around and which ones bit the dust. He still wanted to get an idea of how many creatures inhabited each area, and this was one of the main reasons why he was going around doing exactly that. The assassin wasn't really concerned about visiting places that were considered to be fairly violent as he was more than capable of taking them on himself. The assassin certainly did look young, albeit the size of a medium-sized dog thanks to his species. He had a lot of experience behind his belt and had even taken down clan leaders of groups similar to this one. During the time that he was in Snowbound, the Pitt never really did anything to the group. If anything it was along the lines of the Typhoon that were causing trouble with the group. Killua still to this day holding a grudge against them. The Typhoon believed themselves to seek justice in the way that they punished their members, but it wasn't enough for him with the punishment that Guru had been given. Simply removing an ear? No. Killua had wanted Guru dead. The albino serval wondered if the female was still around or if someone had beat him to the punch to end the female's life. He tried to get the thought out of his head, as he was trying to turn over a new leaf, a goal he had been working on for the past several months now.

It was a lot harder than it looked to break a habit that he had since he was just a kitten. Killua was trying his best not to kill anyone, to the best of his ability. It was so much easier to win a fight if one just immediately killed their opponent instead of making them submit by beating them over and over again. It made his life a little bit more difficult, but he was willing to go through such a phase if it meant that he wouldn't be like the rest of his family. He had no idea which group Illumi had decided to take shelter in before attacking him, but that didn't matter as he was fairly certain the tiger wasn't around anymore in these clans. That's what Killua hoped. The voice in the back of his head hadn't been talking to him like it had before, and he wasn't feeling constant anxiety. Yes, he was always paranoid about his surroundings, but that was always common with him. He had to be, as these lands that were once familiar to him were now starkly different. Tracking down the groups weren't all that difficult as news traveled fast around those types that were more violent and willing to attack strangers that they came across. Killua didn't blame them in that regard, but those that usually lived in Warbound groups were extremely egotistical thinking that they could get away with everything by simple brute force. This would usually lead Killua to laugh in their faces and beat them into the ground to show exactly where they stood. The former deputy had only arrived for a simple conversation and to try and see if he recognized anyone. Which was doubtful. The only creatures that he recognized so far after returning were Stark and Tena. Stark was more of his father figure and he remembered the short time that Tena stayed in Snowbound when it existed.

His movements were completely silent and didn't make any sounds thanks to his air elementals cushioning every step that he took. His metal claws were uncurled as usual, and there was something wrapped around his throat and a small portion of his chest. Killua had decided that he might as well bring along Kuro, his albino black mamba, after recently reuniting with the reptile back in Elysium. He could only imagine how much the snake was enjoying the heat compared to the cold climate of the mountains. The snake's white scales seemed to almost blend in perfectly with Killua's white fur that made him stand out fairly easily along the desert. The only indication that there was actually a snake on the serval's body was the change in texture from scales to fur and the red eyes that was an indication of the albino.  The first thing that caught Killua's attention was the smell of death and rot, it reminded him of a couple of groups that he came across that were considered threats to clanners but were in fact just weaklings that had a big talk but no bite. A yawn spread across his jaws as he finally arrived at the edge of the jungle with almost ease. His white pelt reflected light in the heated environment, allowing him to resist the heat slightly, and his air elementals constantly kept his body cool. He sat himself down on a spot that wasn't covered in sand but didn't enter the forest. Killua had his enhanced senses on so that he would be able to hear anyone that would approach him. They wouldn't be able to notice a strange scent to approach him, and the only way to really notice him would be by sight, as he hadn't made any noise on his approach either. Raising one of his paws, Killua conjured up a small rectangular box of chocolates, slicing open the top of the box with his claws, that action obviously being audible to anyone close to him. He would use his claws to impale small pieces of chocolate, before throwing the pieces up into the air and catching them in his mouth. He made no vocal announcement that he was here, as he was slightly curious on the security of the place compared to Elysium. Killua wasn't all that concerned about a fight breaking out, as he had enough powers to keep him out of harm's way. Right now, all he wanted to do was have a conversation because he was bored as all hell.

[OOC: ]

Oh it was him. Kydobi let out a sigh laced with a growl in annoyance. This disrespectful brat. He watched them from the trees, huffing as he allowed his body to become visible. No point anyways, he knew this kid. Partially.

"If you won't respect anyone else. Respect the borders."

He warned as he walked down the trunk, paws sticking and unsticking to the bark.

Killua planned on visiting every group in the areas that still existed whether they liked it or not. He didn't make the rules. If he wanted to know the stance of the groups nearby, it would mean that he would have to expend some energy. Besides, it kept his mind busy compared to the rest of his thoughts every time he saw the damned observatory and thought of London. He hoped that she was doing okay. Killua was fairly sure that one small scratch to the female would be the equivalent of slitting her throat, which Guru had attempted to do long ago to his only friend. The wildcat knew of her blood condition and how dangerous it was to her, and it made sense as to why she wasn't really the type to fight as it could literally kill her. That often made him think that despite how easily he could end up cutting her on accident, she remained close to him, and he remained close to her. Killua only wished everything would return to the way it was, but he knew that would be impossible. He could almost hear his brother in the back of his head stating that he deserved this and that he didn't deserve happiness. That the needed to return home in order to complete his training and start becoming the heir to his family that he wanted no part of. No. He could attempt to rebuild bonds with other creatures in these lands. There was always a chance that London could come back. Stark came back after all, and he was somewhat of a father figure for the albino serval. Killua just wanted those that he cared about to be okay, and he knew some of them were strong enough not to worry about them. As long as Illumi didn't try to hunt them down as the tiger had been spying on him during his time in Snowbound. His plan now was to get stronger.

Stronger than his brother ever was so that the next time he saw his older brother he would be able to fight against him. Overcoming the one fear that he had in his mind. Looking past the abrasive exterior, Killua could actually be decent company. Well, others would beg to differ as most considered him to be a cocky asshole. They weren't wrong. His sapphire blue gaze turned in the direction of the voice, not really surprised. Wait. He remembered this guy! He never really got his name the last time that he talked, and only got Bai Shi's name. The dragon and the jaguar seemed to be close friends for whatever reasons. Which was interesting was this guy was in the Pitt and Bai Shi was in Rosebloods. The two groups definitely didn't sound like that they enjoyed each other's company. Not like it mattered, as he once made friends that were considered to be enemy clans without a care in the world. After throwing another piece of chocolate into his mouth, he would speak in a muffled voice as he spoke with candy in his mouth. "I usually do. Pretty good at it too. The Pitts territory is confusing when it comes to what they think of as a border. Is it the desert? The jungle? Nobody knows." Killua said with a slight chuckle to his voice. "Besides, I didn't exactly want to roast in the desert heat ya know?" Killua said calmly this time with a shrug of his shoulders as he grabbed another piece of chocolate and ate it.

It wasn't strange to see the jaguar up in the trees, as it was common for that species to do such actions. Killua almost never went past clan borders, as it would just cause trouble if he did so. The only times that he would is if he was trying to assassinate someone. The had of Kuro immediately turned to look up a Kydobi with his red eyes, looking at the jaguar carefully. The albino black mamba certainly didn't like the tone that the larger creature was making, and tightened its grip around Killua. The young albino serval would tilt his head slightly to the right as he looked at the jaguar with seemingly no care in the world. "So you live in the Pitt huh? Makes sense." Whether the feline would take it as an insult or not was based on him, as Killua was simply making an observation on the other's personality. The guy certainly fit the Pitt in some shape or form from the past times that he had encountered them. Killua wondered if he had ever killed a Pitt member before, he can't remember. Not that he remembered most of those that he's killed. "So what happens in a place like this? I've never been to this place before. Who's the leader this time around? I can't remember the last leader that ruled here since the last time I was around." They were simple questions. Even if Kydobi didn't answer them, there were probably others that lived in the area that could so it was no detriment to them. He was only here to have a casual conversation after all.

[OOC: ]

Naturally he wouldn't be too alarmed by the child as he would by a larger creature, and it would be this way until he would see Killua fight. But it was damn obvious where the borders were.

"Can you not smell the piss and urine marking it?", rather dirty language for the cat who never really cursed or spoke of visceral things, "It's a little ways in the desert, couple hundred yards prior to the jungle."

He wouldn't get angry though, and his tone remained flat. Unbothered.

"But that's understandable. We usually forgive these mistakes for those who wish to join.", amber eyes watched the boy pop another piece of candy in his mouth, wondering where he acquired such delicacies and what they tasted like, but he sniffed. A sharp nose would pick up on sugar, and barely any meat- wait none at all and so the brute would not be too interested in it in the end.

Tail would sway left and right, rolling ever so smoothly in thought, "People live here Killua, what else do you think occurs?", he flicked his ear, "Besides our secrets and intimate details are only for our members. Did you have a desire to become one today? Or is this just a little border visit."

He would understand where the boy came from. When he had first joined, visiting neighboring groups and understanding relations and behaviors and traditions and whatnot had been very vital knowledge. It made it easier to get a gist of the land and how those who inhabited functioned not only among themselves but with each other.

Re: NO ONE KNOWS WHAT ITS LIKE | VISITOR - ARGUS - 05-19-2019

Gus was still grounded, no matter how quickly their healing rate was compared to most animals, a broken bone took time to heal, and longer still when they had to re break it. it hurt less, pinned up to their side in a makeshift cast to hold it: vines encircled their entire left flank- wrapping around the wing and under the other to keep it steady. It hurt less, but the dull throb of each movement they made was just enough to give the beast a bit more of awareness.

As much as Gus promised to pay the Pitt back for fixing' up their wing. They were still- aloof. The jungle was too humid for the wolf who was too used to being alone. They stuck to the desert mostly, with little care for most of the jungle or it's inhabitants. Argus was used to the desert, the quiet, the sands would always be their home no matter which clan it belonged to.

Of course, this didn't mean they didn't keep an open ear towards the jungle. Hushed conversations and private words were ignored, but the fresh scent of wind and the smaller high pitched voice of a long lost son still caught up to the wolf- was enough to grab their attention and priority both: Killua.

They were slow to aprach, careful of jostling the wing tied closely to their side, slow measured steps that brought Ky and Killua both into sight. Red eyes flickered between the two- assessing, the conversation and expressions in a manner that had been missing from the lax wolf Kydobi found at the border. "Good to see you're back in the clans, Killua. Picking for information no less, nothing new hmm?"

it took restraint to keep their tone level when they spoke. Face a stoic mask around the jaguar and serval both. Argus had loyalty to the clan that was helping them for now, but they never much cared for politics, for secrets so easily spread like wildfire within the rest of the clans. Killua- Killua was here, safe and away from the tiger. Which was good, when he went missing after the initial fight- argus had been- worried.

"I'm glad you're- okay."

Re: NO ONE KNOWS WHAT ITS LIKE | VISITOR - Jervis - 05-19-2019

SELF-ENTITLED
How disgraceful. Yet again there was another visitor crossing their border. Like Kydobi mentioned, wouldn't they smell the absurb amount of marking and perhaps even the disgraceful amount of piss? Good lord. Jervis was always quick to judge though. He never acknowledged the borders of other clans either. Hypocrite, indeed. Even so, someone crossing his line was different to him. If it was a visit or even a joiner, there was no exception and to see that his fellow Pittians were just welcoming this thing into their lands was disgusting.

With his haunches high and his fur flared outwards, the fox stood tall with golden eyes narrowed. As always, he held an appearance of authority. "The name's Jervis, dear," the ardent barked as he wandered over, "And I'm the leader you're looking for." Killua seemed to be fishing for more than just a leader though. Argus mentioned that he was picking at them for information, which appeared to be true so far. Unwilling to give them more information, Jervis left his comment at that. There was nothing more to discuss with a stranger.

[OOC: ]

In the few appearances of Jervis, Kydobi had been able to develop this sense of power. But with the fox's more recent appearances he would stand back. Allowing the power to return, if it ever left, to the fox.

He dipped his head and sighed, sitting back.
