Her tired paws hit the ground as she kept running, and her breath drew in ragged gulps that scalded her lungs. After her father's betrayal and overthrow, the princess was left to fend for herself. She may have left with her mother and brother, but both of them were gone. Natani's pelt could be seen as she rushes, going to the border. He mind was a crash of waves, she could not think clearly. She shuts her eyes as she makes it over the border, crashing onto the ground as she trips over something. //mobile and at school, excuse the shortness. "Hey," the petite sand cat calls, bright blue eyes wide. By the mother, she barely finished the thought before she started scrambling down the mountain, brows creased. "Hey," Tena repeated softer as she skirted to a stop. "Are you okay?" The former dessert dweller knew the look of someone running. The Demdji had spent a great deal of her life running, for once she started, she could not stop. She realized now, at the end of it all, her former masters would not chase her so far beyond their home, the place she grew up, but for moons and moons she had been glancing over her shoulder. It was not an ideal life to live, and Tena knew that sometimes she seemed over-cautious but old habits died hard. As she regarded the other in concern, she decided that whatever it was to cause someone run so fast and hard, it was bad. "You're in Elysium, it's okay." ice blue eyes watched the female streamline across the terrain, concern appearing as she careened into the borders of elysium.
leaping down from her tree, a large tigress would approach at a steady gallop, easy grin on her maw, "hey there, lass. that was a nasty spill just now. what's got ya in such a rush? ah, by the way, whatever is chasing after you is going to have to think twice about crossing this border. you're safe here so you don't gotta worry 'bout nothin', hun.", she speaks as she slows down to stop in front of her. head tipped slightly to the side she offers natani her paw, claws sheathed but covered in scars, offering her help to get up if she needed. looking over at tena she nodded, "we've got ya, hun. whatever it thinks it is to chase ya this far, it won't reach you here." space
Re: sleep is my cage // joiner - charactercemetary. - 05-01-2019 i'm all alone once again as broken as i was when it all first began -- [color=white]tags Hard, scalding breaths enter the teen's lungs as she was used to her fallen down state, before the soft voice of someone who was comforting entered her ears. The tawny jaguaress forces herself to sit up, her purple eyes holding a small amount of fear at something that was so small. "I-" she begins before forcing herself to become quieter. "Okay, okay." Of course, this was until a large tigress decided to scare the daylights out of her. Not that she meant to, but it just happened. Upon being offered the paw, the princess gently smiles and takes her paw, to stand up fully. "I uh, I'm a princess of a kingdom, and someone overthrew my father. My mom fled with my brother but we got separated." Re: sleep is my cage // joiner - Straw - 05-02-2019 There was another lost, non-adult creature on the border, having been separated from her family. Straw was beginning to sense a pattern, a sad reality of the world around them. This one, though, appeared to be in active danger- or rather, according to her, had just escaped it. Had she been followed? If so, there'd have to be a fight. Not to worry, she thought to herself, going around and looking out in the direction the jaguar had come from. She'd sworn to protect everyone, and she would. Narrowing her eyes, Straw entered a defensive stance and continued to watch the horizon. She couldn't smell anyone else nearby, but that could change fast, and there was no harm in being too careful. |
