angry raven [★] game on - Keona. - 04-17-2019 [div style="width: 527px; line-height: 1.4; text-align: justify; font-family: palatino; font-size: 11px;"][align=center]blackbird singing in the dead of night, take these broken wings and learn to fly
It was the cawing first. Loud. Insistant. Repetitive. The petite privateer thought she just might practice her air manipulation on the harbinger of doom. Her ears flattened sharply against her skull, a scowl quickly shaping across her maw. On the shore, the wind already possessed some force. Gritting her teeth against the sound, Keona lifted her head up to 'stare' as directly at the nuisance as possible. The young raven was quite larger than her. His dark feathers were ruffled, eyes glittering with some unkindled fury. Strong enough the unpracticed fae was nearly overwhelmed by the sense of it. "Fiachra," be quiet for the love of god. He only cawed again, louder. The bird had been, unsurprisingly, searching for his preferred member of the faerie clan. Suvi. He had not found her and did not know where else to look. Consequently, he sought out the other youth in the family, Keona. Said feline stood, tail lashing to and fro, as she tried to encourage the fiend to grow quiet. To no avail. "Fiachra, le do thoil." She took a few steps back when he furiously flapped his wings in response, piercing her ears with another shriek. She was getting no where. Re: angry raven [★] game on - Splitvisage - 04-24-2019 [font=trebuchet ms]He knew what birds were in a general sense- winged, feathered creatures, with beaks and talons. He had seen birds on occasion, while wandering. He had never seen this sort of bird though, jet black and furious, shrieking to the skies; and as large as it was compared to the kitten, he could only assume it was a potential threat. Approaching the two and moving to shield Keona as best he could (the bird might be able to fly between his legs if it so desired), Darksouls narrowed his eyes at the screeching avian. "Leave," he spoke flatly, unused to the idea of giving commands. Still, the bird was smaller than he was. It would hopefully be intimidated enough to back off. His sea green eyes gleamed uncertainly. The bird was... A nuisance sometimes, for sure. A mischievous creature who seemed unfond of adults -- of him at least -- but this was a different level. Raziel frowned, approaching the distressed bird slowly to stand at his rather unfortunate niece's side.
"..." Fiachra had firmly attached himself to Suvi. The faerie could feel his concern over her absence grow; a deep pit in his stomach growing. "He's lost Suvi." Is Suvi lost? His daughter did wander between groups... She had gotten lost before... "... Fiachra," he could feel his own gut clench as he spoke gently to his daughter's feathered companion. "You're doing no good by losing your mind." Hopefully the combination of his lighter advice and the more defensive Darksouls, whom Raziel realized might know this bird. He bit back a sigh. He didn't think Keona was in any danger, but it truly did no use for anyone for Fiachra to go crazy. "Fiachra. You keep looking, it's gonna be okay. But Suvi isn't going to turn up if you spend all day like this." Keep looking, and report back to him. "So calm down. I know you're a smarter bird than this." // Mobile [align=center]— ✦ — |
