[align=center]Discussion still fresh in her mind, the female flew back to the island with a determined expression. The tiger decided on her way back that she would find Keona immediately. The female already knew what was going on between her and the Pitt - at least, she knew that she'd not forgotten about them. Which is more than most of her other crewmates may say. She would much rather keep the information out to as little individuals as possible and she trusted both Keona and..."Embry". She thought it only fair that she would report to the young fae immediately, especially given the specific information she'd received about the female's family member. Goldie had originally considered telling Raziel instead, but decided it would be more responsible to tell Keona instead. At least, for right now. Plans needed to be executed before she could publicly announce to her crew what is happening. They have the element of surprise right now and she intends to keep it that way until she, her crew, and Crow are all ready. Soon. The female did not know exactly where to find the privateer, but she quickly would move throughout the territory, calling out "Keona?" sharply as she searched. Hopefully it would not take long. She had much to discuss. The tiny privateer had found herself by the water. The pool within the trees, outside the Colosseum. A thinking place, if ever there was one. The perfect place to practice her abilities by herself. The place her father preferred for lessons. As such, her ears perked slightly in surprise at the sound of her name. Goldie. Her pale hues flickered absently, tracing the sound as she rose to her paws."Goldie." There was an eagerness in the air. Nearly subconsciously, Keona tapped on her mental bond with her father, her brows creasing in thought. "Hey," her soft voice murmured, the tip of her tail twitching to and fro. Something's up. "What happened?" Re: TELL ME WHAT YOU HEAR / keona - bubblegum - 05-09-2019 I HEARD, I HEARD ACROSS A MOONLIT SEA

[align=center]"Before I tell ya," she starts off, voice in a hush. "I want you t' know somethin' about what I'm thinkin." Preferably, she always got straight to the point, but right now, she felt as if it might seem like she's keeping too many secrets for too little reasons. On the outside, at least. She knows that several of her crewmates probably think her foolish for teaming up with Jervis, even if temporarily, or at the very least, are wary of her decisions right now. She isn't being upfront with them and there's a very big reason why. "We have the element of surprise. The more folks that hear 'bout my plans n' actions, the less advantage we'll have. Jervis thinks we trust him." It's a simple explanation, but the captain is hoping it will do. It speaks for itself. "I arranged a secret meetin' wit' the Tanglewood leader, Crow Roux." She still found it funny they shared last names, despite being tied to completely separate families. It still felt nice to have her last name roll off her tongue, as if she still had family around to talk about. "They jus' raided the Pitt, so I figured he would have somethin' to offer. He did." She took a moment to breathe before revealing, trying to figure out how she would word things exactly and in what order she'd say them all in. "T' no one's surprise, Jervis is a liar." There is almost the hint of a playful tone as she says this, and perhaps she would have winked if Keona was not blind. Though, she would need to lower this light-heartedness at her next announcement. She was not so worried about it, confident they would be able to retrieve her very soon, but still upset that it needed to happen to begin with. "He took Suvi." The female would let that sink in for a moment, giving her a respectful silence. "Now, 'm okay wit' tellin' Raziel, but he needs to know that he cannot talk about it publicly and he must not retaliate. Not yet." Raziel was levelheaded as far as she could tell, so she did have faith in his reaction. The female would give Keona time to respond before detailing what she plans to do, not wanting to overload the female, especially with the last bit of information in particular. "A partnership is beginnin' between the Typhoon n' Tanglewood. Crow n' I will make the first moves, before I even announce it t' you all. Everyone mus' fall for the belief that the Pitt is off our radar for now for m' plan t' be as effective as possible. Soon, though, we all may strike. Soon." The captain explains this quietly, her strategic mind coming to light through her words. She did not like putting on a facade for her crewmates, for her family, but it was important that she did for now. "Warn Séamus that there will be fire, soon, please. N' if you could, please do ask him about what 've told ya, jus' in case Crow wasn' bein' truthful or he could simply explain it better." The tiny feline blinked as the captain spoke softly. Subconsciously, she perked her ears for any possible eavesdroppers. No, we're fine, she mused, frowning lightly. These were, she noted, the reasons her father had gone off to spy. They had to act like nothing was amiss, that they were not suspicious for any reason. Even if she didn't necessarily like it. She saw the brains behind it.Regardless, she hung on Goldie's words for the moment, wondering where this was going. Tanglewood? Her brow rose briefly. Her knowledge of the swamp dwellers was admittedly lacking. The Typhoon never had much to do with them. All she really knew about them was about their home biome and her cousin's presence there. They attacked the Pitt. Keona nodded, biting back a smirk. The Pitt deserved some hurting, even if it wasn't by their paws. Only it came with information. Pale hues flickered and narrowed. No, it didn't surprise her Jervis lied. Did this mean retaliation was coming? Or... Oh. Stars. They did have to tell Raziel, certainly. This explained her baby cousin's -- or was she older than her since that strange event? -- absence. And Fiachra's ferocious behavior. "… I'll tell him." A heavy weight sinks on her chest at the thought, but she trusted her uncle. He possessed the calmest soul she'd ever met. She didn't know how he might take it, but she imagined he'd fare better than his brothers did when she'd been taken. "He's smart." The privateer cocked her head lightly as her captain continued, pondering what a partnership might mean for all of them. If Tanglewood was against the Pitt though, that was enough for her. Besides, Suvi liked them too, or enough to keep going back and forth. Keona supposed she did not mind keeping quiet on all of this. She was already very private, so this wouldn't be a struggle at the very least, and she had her father to talk to, even if it was only through their link. Speaking of. He'll be ready. He always seemed ready for trouble. "I'll see what I can fin' out." |
