The petite sand cat had never laid eyes on a swamp before. Her bright eyes danced and flickered, soaking everything in. Green. Wet. Strange. The ground beneath her sandy paws seemed to suck her down. Hard to imagine anyone being able to walk quickly through here, but perhaps it came in practice. Familiarity. Patience. Honestly, the Demdji possessed a minuscule amount of the latter. As such, the young feline's tail twitched to-and-fro at her side, restless. What do I even know about Tanglewood? Barely anything. Hopefully that changed that soon. Cry honestly had no idea why anyone would want to visit this dump. While it was her current place of residence until she recovered, it was wet, gross, and full of ... interesting characters. They weren't bad, she's definitely dealt with worse, but they weren't exactly... friendly. And uh.... Surprise. They were predators that were like "by the way move out of line and ill eat you" so that was always fun! God, it was great being a bird. The crow tilted her head, staring down at the stranger at their border. Borders... such a savage concept, but every place here seemed to have them. So. Could she complain? Yeah, no reason not to. Would they change? Ph, no. Cry huffed, cradling her injured wing. what are you doing here, kid? she called down. It was probably just lost. "SPEECH" |
