Many have claimed that these clocks possess otherworldly powers, and will torment the soul of whoever possesses them.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION: Father Time has an ominous disposition that seems all too fitting for his foreboding appearance. He only communicates telepathically, and often speaks through a series of carefully worded parables. Watching his company's confusion will typically supply him with a distorted form of amusement. Asking him personal questions will rarely yield fruitful results, as will attempting to befriend him. Father Time has no interest, let alone comprehension for relationships, and seeks only to disperse the seed of his handiwork. No one has determined the reason for this, but it is believed that Father Time has an immense resentment for daylight. Therefore, if one wishes to delve for him in Tanglewood, they will have to do so in the heart of nightfall. There, he attempts to sell an arrangement of supposedly enchanted clocks to unfortunate passerbys by promising them a monumental supply of power. His insatiable hunger for brain dead slaves won't be quenched until he's accumulated an extensive, cult-like following. If he fails to satisfy his urges, his psyche will gradually enter stages of decline, and his physical health will soon follow.

He appears to be the physical manifestation of darkness itself, and from a distance, resembles a coagulation of shadows. His murky outward appearance provides him the benefit of camouflage during nightfall, which is the time of day he is most active. Another unsettling addition to his already eerie presentation is a dragon Japanese Hannya mask fixed upon an entirely flat surface where his muzzle and other facial futures should be. This indicates that Father is indeed faceless, and how he sees through the mask is a complete mystery.
