Waterloo, I was defeated you won the war - tikki - 02-16-2019 [align=center][div style="max-width: 450px; text-align: justify; color: #111111; font-family: arial;"][[ Please do not post until [member=3676]lunarpup.[/member] posts ]] The young pup was not used to the heavy wings upon his back weighing him down, and longed for the days of mother carrying him around to make it so that he didn't have to walk around, but he knew that he would no longer be carried anymore, and had known since he had started walking in this direction. He was only four months old, but already he knew that a time came for everyone, whether it was time for them to leave, or time for them to die. So far, he didn't know what happened to mother, just knew that she wasn't there with them, wasn't there to bring them here, but hey, at least he and his sister had an adventure. Turning to Lunarpup, the winged collie would offer a smile to his grey-tinted twin, offering a small smile to her, a signal for that they were near others and that they needed to be on their best behavior. "Hopefully we can stay here." he would whisper, ears pinning to his head as he slowed down to a stop before sitting down and wrapping himself in his wings. "I really hope we can." Re: Waterloo, I was defeated you won the war - charactercemetary. - 02-16-2019 The wolfdog did not really know what happened to their mother. But she was gone for a while, so it appears that the twins would set out. She spent time adventuring with the winged collie, before coming here.
Her ears flick, blue-golden gaze focusing on what was in front of them. For a brief moment, Lunarpup nods and offers a small smile back. Before he speaks, she sits down, yawning and glancing at the black and white dog. "We should be able to. People have an emotional reaction to young dogs, they wouldn't just leave one in the cold." ☾ let every fracture in me shatter out loud Re: Waterloo, I was defeated you won the war - PHOENIX - 02-16-2019 [align=center][div style="borderwidth=0px; width: 55%; text-align: justify;"]☂ Aimless wandering was quickly becoming a hobby of Phoenix's, but with the inability to light things on fire at will and few close enough to her she could pester without any real malice forming because of it, it was really the only option Phoenix had to pass the time. And Gods, did Phoenix have time. She could spend her days studying the ways of necromancy to bring back her lost friends, could try to tap into her evocational abilities, but those studies occupied the long nights, every night, and she was already lacking social interaction enough. So far, pacing the outreaches of Elysium's lands seemed to be quite a successful way of meeting new faces, and thus the maned wolf was trekking through the quiet entanglement of landscapes humming a tavern song to herself. In the distance were spots of color, a sharp contrast to their stark surroundings, that immediately caught the lich's attention. Drawing closer she was able to make out their shapes more visibly, and recognized them as - puppies? Phoenix had very little experience with dogs outside of her companions' pets, but they had never whelped. "You two alone?" Phoenix called as she neared, fictional brows dipping inward to the beginnings of a frown. "Look a little young for it," she murmured, although in reality Phoenix had no fucking idea at what age puppies were good to go on their own. They looked big enough to be off of milk, that was for sure, but certainly too small and young to hunt. The wings were a particularly unusual addition as well. "What's up, kiddos?" PUT ALL YOUR FAULTS TO BED... Naturally, the child felt inclined to explore the new territory that came with the merge of the two groups. He was certain not to wander outside of the borders, but what could it hurt to go on a stroll through the snow-blanketed land? Whereas he was more cautious about these things before he had ventured off on his own a few months ago, now he had enough confidence to reassure himself that nothing would happen if he was all by himself.
And, naturally, when he heard voices coming from the borderlands? August was inclined to investigate. Small paws swiftly yet silently carried him over to the area where one of the older Elysites was found addressing two pups. However, they weren't just any ordinary pups — "Whoaaa.... You have wings?" The Elysite bounded over, making an appearance with his tan-gray pelt sticking out against the wintry background. Blue eyes gleaming with interest, he chirped, "Can you fly? How high can you fly?" While August could normally keep a leveled-head, he was still a child. And, like children did best, curiosity got the best of him. He couldn't help it — he had never seen anyone with wings before! His bushy tail began to wag from side-to-side, and he asked another question, "Do you know how to do flips?" Of course, these two were younger than he was, and there was a chance that they knew next to nothing about the art of flight ( not that August fully considered that before barraging them with questions ). She didn't look at them questioningly, nor did she ask them a lot of questions. Wrapping his wings around himself tighter as they came forward, he would simply nod his head in response to the question of whether they were alone or not, before opening his maw to speak in response to what was 'up'. "We were looking for a place to live." He would woof out softly, ears flicking backwards suddenly in unease as they were bombarded with more questions from the slightly older child. "We haven't flown before, so I dunno." He would speak, shaking his head slightly to get rid of his unease, or, at least try to. "And I don't think I can do flips, can you Luna?" He would turn towards his sister as he asked this. Re: Waterloo, I was defeated you won the war - PHOENIX - 02-21-2019 [align=center][div style="borderwidth=0px; width: 55%; text-align: justify;"]☂ /AAA sorry abt the late reply!! A place to stay, huh? Of course Phoenix wasn't going to turn them away, but it was rather sad that these kids had to look for their own place to stay outside of the protection of their parents. Dogs usually raised their puppies for longer, didn't they? Although she was curious, she didn't want to ask a question that would hurt or offend one of the kids. Instead Phoenix opted to give a nod of her head, rolling her shoulders in a faux shrug. "Sure, you can bunk with us." The lich responded casually. The corners of her lips curled upward into the beginnings of a smile when August approached and bombarded them with questions, sundrop eyes flicking between the three children. "So, what're your names?" One had called the other "Luna" but Phoenix knew well that it could very well be a nickname. It meant that he no longer had to worry about finding a place to sleep that was safe, and no longer had to travel long distances on his feet - or, so he hoped. "Thank you." The exasperated puppy would speak out, offering a small smile their way before listening once more to the questions. "I'm Solarpup, and this is my sister Lunarpup." he would answer, motioning her way. |
