I am lucky to be alive today. I was saved and patched up by some kind folk. Calls themselves "Snowbound". Thinking theyre some sort of group. There aint too many of them but they dont seem like blood family to me. Their leader calls herself Anael. Very strong girl. Far too young to lead a group of misfits in my eyes... but promising. She offered me hot chocolate.

I dont have much to worry about luckily. These folk seem nice enough. I still hate the cold. Nights are bad and the days aint much better. But Snowbound is still my home-as short as it might be- and I am making do with what I am given. I hope the gangs still okay. Might set out and search for them soon lest the weather picks up again.

Things are looking on the up and up. Dutch and John found me and while the rest of the lot haven't shown their faces yet, I couldn't ask for anything more. Except for Hosea.

All sorts of new faces have been popping up lately. Snowbound has become like a family to me I reckon.
