BLAKE -sunhaven-brown tuxedo -sibling to billie joe -nonbinary HERE WE GO AGAIN //THIS FUCKIN SUCkS SGDHJK SORRY
& u don't have to wait for [member=102]lala[/member] to post It had been three days since they left. The two brothers had snuck away in the middle of the night after a long rant about their living situation and their mother. She was a good person at heart, Blake knew, but she'd been stressed, raising six kids alone, and she didn't take Billie Joe's constant rebellion against her or Blake's gender identity very well whenever faced with it. That, and their four other siblings were annoying as hell. So, fed up, the two young felines had jumped ship, abandoning their little makeshift home behind the old music shop. Where they were going, though? They had no idea. It wasn't until the two tuxedos came across a wooden wall that they finally stopped. "What the hell?" Blake whined, a scowl marring their features as they looked the barricade up and down. It was tall; like, really tall. What were they supposed to do now? Re: SOUNDCHECK | open, dual joining - AUGUST - 01-27-2019 [align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 1.4;"][ currently in foal body ] There had been a chance that August, had fate taken a different turn, would have never ended up in Sunhaven. Had the flood never ravaged the land, had the trees not been swept away in its wrath, had his mother never disappeared, then he would not have come across the commune of creatures that dwelled in the seaside town. Maybe he had been... meant to find this place, even at the expense of losing his home and his mother. The people here were nice, and he would not deny that, but a part of him only wished that she would be here to witness him grow. Speaking of which, August had certainly grown in a number of ways. He had even discovered the ability to change shape — change species entirely. It had been an eye-opening and utterly shocking experience to go through ( especially since, at the same time, a bear had been trying to maul him ), and he had never botherd to try and control his abilities ever since that day. He had been too scared to try and shift again. Once in a while, though, his powers would malfunction so that he wouldn't manually have to. For instance, on this day in particular, the youngster was hobbling around in his foal body and trying not to knock anything ( or anyone ) over in his path. He nearly tripped over himself once more, balance giving way to skinny legs and clomping hooves. Having heard an unfamiliar voice from around the corner of the walls, he wobbled forward and steadied himself on all fours before trotting forward slowly. [glow=black,1,400]"Hello,"[/glow] Greeted the Ray, inquisitive hues sweeping over the smaller forms of the cats. Perhaps in his wolf body, the height difference would not be as dramatic, but from up here? All domestic creatures looked like ants. It was certainly something he was not used to. [glow=black,1,400]"Can I help you?"[/glow] August was no longer a Hearthkeeper, but he still felt obligated to greet any stranger who showed their face in the territory. Had the duo been large, gangly beasts whose saliva was dripping from gaping jaws and rows of fangs, he would have been frightened for sure, but he did not find the cats very scary at all. Thanks to clan life, he was getting accustomed to interacting with strangers more and more. |
