In Hiding - Usagi Smallpaw - 01-26-2019
Takao had just about gotten out when her sire had appeared. she walked until she couldnt be seen by them and then she began running,tears streaming from her eyes. Why did her father seem to despise her? What had she done except exist and meet him?She continued to run, Takao pulling at her the entire time, until she came upon the entrance to a mineshaft entrace. she began to race through the tunnels not bothering to pay attention to directions. Perhaps if she got lost no one would care to notice. Maybe Bai would be safer without the threat of Takao looming over her. She continued to run until she found herself in a cavern full of shinning and shimmering multicoloured crystals.It was pretty here but she didnt take notice. it was to dull to her, everything was to dull. Who could come to care for her if not even her sire could. They were probably all just playing at it anyways, trying to pacify her so that he would not come out. Using the water from the bags she carried on her almost constantly now, she began to lash out and slash at the walls, screaming in anger and hatred and sorrow and fear. Anger and Hated towards the one who shared her body and the sire who took no notice of her. fear for what may happen if Takao ever got loose and sorrow for the family she would never have, including that of her mother. Maybe it would be best if she lay here and withered away. Releasing all her angre and energy into the crystals, shards falling around her. she continued until her body collapsed and she curled up,tails around her and crying out any remaining emotion.

Parents could be a complicated point, her own father seemed to want nothing to do with her as well, which she could understand considering how much she resembled the feline he had once loved. Speaking of that mother? Her own mother was gone again and didn't even admit to being her parent until she found her dead years ago, having killed herself when her emotions resurfaced briefly, unable to deal with the sins she'd committed in her life with those intact. Jiyu was flying low to the ground, almost directly above it with her legs tucked up under her, perhaps practicing for tight flight and turns within jungles when she went exploring. Usagi would have to come on the next one again.
Speaking of her apprentice, it wasn't long before she found the girl collapsed on the ground, landing in front of her with a blank expression. Children were a complicated point, especially usagi since she needed the help but Jiyu knew that children being exposed to her darkness for too long turned. "Hey." her voice sounded as she extended her wings as if they were arms to hug, wrapping around without actually touching the other, left paw coming up in an attempt to lift the girls chin.

Her tears had just about dried up, unable to produce any more and leaving long salty tracks down her fur. As jiyu enclosed her in the hug she would barely react with more than a slight shudder of recognition, looking up at Jiyu's face void of emotion as her face is lifted up. she just looks at her and does not say anything, body providing no resistance

Broken. At least it hadn't been her fault this time. Jiyu didn't know what to do about things that were broken considering she had never even managed to fix herself. Laying on the ground she stared with mismatched eyes, keeping her wings extended like a shell over the other female just blinking occasionally for the longest time. The vizier had some idea of how to react to others actions due to having lived long enough to play money see, monkey do, but she had no idea how to deal with someone who was just broken like her. "Stand." the calico only really knew how to keep moving in the same cycle, most of the time.

She continued to stare at jiyu for a long while with the dead look in her eyes. No emotion means no pain and no pain means less chance of takao.perhaps she was right and it would be better to just wither away.. saddly she couldn't resist Jiyu's command and after a long while she slowly and almost roboticly stood,barely able to get one word out through her teeth and not without great effor. Maybe Tsuyu had plenty of bones to pick, but she knew not to fuck with her own family. That was for when she saw her father again.
Tsuyu had a mission, and she was going to complete it.
"Get the hell up. We have training to do– Bai's orders. Oh, hi Jiyu, ribbit."
Tsuyu chimed as she hopped over, a slight limp to her step as the frog hybrid croaked with every step.
Fuck Stryker and Ninazu.
"This isn't the prettiest sight I've seen, ribbit."
Maybe Tsuyu had plenty of bones to pick, but she knew not to fuck with her own family. That was for when she saw her father again.

A single word at least that was better than before even if she was going to ignore it just how she seemed to ignore plenty of other things due to just not being that reactive. "Tsuyu." she nodded briefly when the other hybrid acknowledged her. "Lets try a new training exercise." the draconic feline flapped her wings a few time taking herself about four feet up into the air using her wings and tail to hold herself level. "Ariel opponent against grounded targets. You're both the grounded targets, I'll serve as the opponent when I say start, you'll both win if you can keep me on the ground for more than a minute. Also if you are rough on my wings and tail fins I will be rougher back, I need those, but you are allowed to target them so long as you're careful not to actually cause damage." she knew Tsu would likely jump for it, but she needed to make sure Usagi was ready otherwise she would have just dive bombed them already.

Usagi continued to remain standing there staring blankly at wherever her eyes are pointed, not having moved past standing up though her hind legs slowly begin to pain more and more and begin to slowly seem to be under more and more weight.
