nothing truly extraordinary in comparison to other creatures roaming the world now, phoenix is a maned wolf. her fur mimics the color of a smouldering fire, a deep copper spread evenly across her body. her body is light and effeminate, a far cry from a brawler as she has little muscle to show for it. instead she is slender and willowy, thin black legs and underweight body creating less than an intimidating visage. her tail is thickly furred and dipped in white, accenting the white fur of her inner ear. her eyes are a blend between orange and yellow, as if they were drops of sunlight. despite her scrawny and malnourished beginnings, phoenix has nursed herself back to health and appears regal and stunning (and oh, does she go out of her way to make sure she looks stunning).
— characters with clairvoyance may see an something far different from a regal maned wolf. instead they will see through her body instead to glimpse her soul, corrupted and imbued with the energy of fire. a vortex of swirling oranges and blacks, the mist-like apparition of a lich can be spotted. although technically a revenant, an undead spirit of myth, i as her roleplayer prefer to use the fantasy description of them because im weak. phoenix mimics the shape of the body she's inhabiting, but is ultimately shapeless, a thick fog of void and energy interpreted differently by any who gaze upon the lich. no special ooc permissions are needed to see phoenix's lich self - if your character has clairvoyance, they can see her "soul".
— phoenix's body is biologically male, although she identifies as female. if she had the choice she would have possessed something that aligns with her identity, but her situation forced her into the first suitable body she could find. her voice is rather masculine because of this, although it carries many mannerisms and lilts not suited for a lower voice, causing phoenix's voice to crack and waver a lot.

phoenix may as well be a fire elemental, the living embodiment of flames. she flickers from one place to the next, enjoying the journey rather than worrying about the situation that forced her on the road. it's easy to think phoenix will do one thing before she quickly does the exact opposite, defining "chaotic", although she goes out of her way to make sure no one is hurt in her relentless antics. in fact, phoenix is quick to invite others into the fold of her plans and adores spending time with others, struggling to occupy her mind when she is alone. when possible, phoenix avoids being alone at all costs, as it lets her mind explore fuzzy memories she cannot recall but she knows will bring her sadness and despair. one day, later, she will be ready to unpack those thoughts - but for now, at least, phoenix just wants to enjoy this new life fate has gifted her with. despite her unpredictable nature phoenix has a strong set of morals that guide her meaningful actions, and despite the sound head on her shoulders she is quick to act from her heart instead. she would die, quite literally, for anyone or anything she considers worth sacrificing her body for, as her lich form has removed the fear of death from her, knowing she will have time to find another body especially when she is surrounded by "hosts", although she prays it'll never have to come to such a thing. behind her cheeky smiles churns thoughts of morality and the fear of eternity, a dull ache in the back of her mind constantly telling her that she's missing a key ingredient in her life. but for now she absolutely lavishes in what little pleasures are handed to her, flirtatious remarks occasionally shot with a wink or the heat of fire against her fur.
