Pip was...worried, unsurprisingly. Forced from their home and into the boats had been a hasty transition, and he wasn't satisfied with the supplies he'd gotten together. He spread them out over all the boats, just in case someone needed them- or, and this he hated to consider, should they lose some of the boats, they wouldn't take all the stores with them. He hoped it didn't come to that- he didn't think they would be out at sea for long enough, or so far out, but courses were rarely smooth. Plans could change. New obstacles could block their way. It didn't do anyone any good for him to fret over everything constantly, however, so he tried to occupy himself with keeping the sailboat clean and tending to the few potted plants he'd brought. He also double-checked and triple-checked the seeds he'd stored.

When Goldie's voice rang out, Pip glanced up from his work. He was glad they would be docking, even if it was only for a short while. While he loved the water, it was comforting to have earth beneath his paws sometimes.

"How are you feeling, Goldie?"

still rather new, and having hoped into someone's boat earlier with an apology because she didnt want to steer her own without training, they hyena lifted her head from where she sat beside the edge of the boat, trying not to get sea-sick.

"land? oh thank god." she murmured, quiet and so very grateful. it wasnt that she hated water, she just hated the way it rocked side to side and one couldn't escape the violence of it.

her eyes drifted over to goldie and peppino, more than happy to listen if she needed to do something, but content to stay where she was until then.
