JANUARY 2019 LEADER MEETING - Orion - 01-01-2019

Within the depths of the mainland laid a small neutral area between each clan's colliding borders. Many considered this the neutral meeting spot for all, others figured it was a spot to throw down. Nevertheless, the hope that this untouched field would bring neutrality and peace while leaders discussed their problems. Who knew if it would live up to that hope. Nevertheless, important and much needed discussions would happen here.

Re: JANUARY 2019 LEADER MEETING - clarence a. - 01-01-2019

Clarence wasn't sure what to think about... all of this. He'd only arrived in this world about a month ago and he still didn't entirely understand it's inner workings, yet here he stood, the chosen leader of the group he'd joined. He did his best to help them but some days he felt like there was far too much history to catch up on. Atticus had never taught him the traditions of the Ascendants and so now he was left asking some of the other members and reading through some old logs. The first few days of his leadership had been... busy to say the least, and it didn't seem like it was going to let up any time soon. Still, that didn't mean he got some sort of break. No, instead he heard about yet another event, although this one seemed to have been established relatively recently, which came as a comfort to him. At least he knew as much as everyone else this time. So, upon hearing that there was supposed to be a meeting with all the other leaders, Clarence made his way to the directed area and soon arrived. At first, he questioned if it was the right location but, as he thought back to it, he was certain this was right. He must just be the first to arrive then. Well, he always did like to be punctual.

I WISH YOU COULD SEE THE WICKED TRUTH
CAUGHT UP IN A RUSH, IT'S KILLING YOU
The ardent saw little point to this type of meeting – with every leader in attendance, striking a deal with any one of them was off the table. Regardless, attending meant the possibility of overhearing important information. Like whether her attempt to split the Ascendants-Rosebloods alliance apart through truth worked. But she doubted anything useful would come of it. Social gatherings usually ended in nothing useful, especially without some driving point to them. But maybe that was just her misanthropic introverted side coming out.

Lashing her tail, the lioness walked through the area, her paws leaving scorched prints in their wake. At seeing Clarence, the tawny woman quirked an eyebrow – last trip to the star watchers implied Atticus led them. But she didn’t see the man here; obviously, someone climbed up the ranks. “I don’t believe you gave me your name, last time we met,” she said, blunt as ever. The ardent remembered that visit well – how none of them spared any courtesy, least of all giving their names. How might they expect her to care about other groups when, the only times she saw them, they fought her on the battlefield or showed nothing but their asshole side?

SEPHIROTH
MALE — ROSEBLOODS — PHARAOH — HOVER FOR TAGS
[div style="background-color: #292727; color: white; font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; overflow: auto; width: 500px; height: 340px; padding: 10px;"]Shadows clung to the pale body of the Rosebloods leader as he moved through the shade at the edge of the meeting space, turquoise eyes gleaming brightly with icy fire as he observed for a silent few seconds.  Sephiroth wasn't exactly friendly and social, more keen to read people from a distance and strike where it was most effective when the time came, but his position as Pharaoh required that he represent his group in the best light.  He didn't exactly see the point of this sort of meeting, especially when known enemies of his were going to be there, but picking up on information from others and asserting his strength and leadership here were enough reasons for him to come.

The silver maned lion would enter the meeting space, eyes lidded slightly as if he was bored with the current going ons.  Sephiroth would glance at Clarence for a second before he took note of Ninazu's presence.  He naturally wasn't happy to see the Pitt leader there, but he held his tongue for a time being.  Sephiroth would roll the powerful muscles in his shoulders with a small groan, staring at the pair of leaders unblinkingly.  "Present."  The Roseblood Pharaoh would simply announce his arrival there as he moved to seat himself opposite of the other leaders, his expression remaining cold and stony throughout.

Re: JANUARY 2019 LEADER MEETING - Morgan - 01-04-2019

Morgan appeared not long after Sephiroth joined the group, the samoyed choosing to don half a set of armor to match his mask. There was no reason not to be ready for battle, whether to protect himself or to protect another leader. He did not know what sorts of relationships any of them had, but he did know he had to make sure he returned home in one piece. In any case, he could remove his armor if everyone proved to be peaceful enough -- a display of friendliness, if anything.

"Howdy,"
the General barked out as he approached the gathering. Acknowledging the one ally in his vicinity, he added,
"Sephiroth."
An unseen smile found its way onto the dog's face; some familiarity was welcome in such an uncomfortable environment.

A hint of warmth touched the samoyed's voice as he continued,
"I don't think I've... formally met most of you before. You can call me Morgan -- I'm the General of Tanglewood. We've been isolated from most other groups around here."
From beneath his mask his eyes darted between the two relatively unfamiliar creatures. He knew he recognized the Pittian from a battle some months back, but the third leader was a complete unknown.
"And who're you two?"

While he waited for some brief responses, the General floated a small wrapped item in front of himself and dropped it lightly on the ground.
"Snacks,"
he muttered, using some beads of water to tear open the wrapping and reveal a small stack of cold s'mores.

I WISH YOU COULD SEE THE WICKED TRUTH
CAUGHT UP IN A RUSH, IT'S KILLING YOU
Ninazu looked at Sephiroth long enough to discount him as an immediate threat, though the lioness thought he might erupt into violence – verbal, at least – later in this meeting. The Rosebloods took the Pitt’s beatings like a dead horse, and she almost wondered whether their leader simply thought he could wait for their interest to wane. Sunhaven had the same strategy; though, in the Roseblood’s case, Ninazu’s motivation came from wrath rather than boredom. She would not forget them so easily.

Lashing her tail at the Tanglewood general’s entrance, the lioness grimaced at his sickly sweet tone. No doubt, he wore an emotional mask alongside the physical one. She distinctly remembered throwing lightning at him; her claws itched to redouble her attempt, but now was neither the time nor place. “I’ll pass on the s’mores.” She eyed the cold treats with some disdain; she preferred hers hot. Besides, the isolated swamp rats might’ve poisoned them – intentionally or not, with their mucky water.

“I am Ninazu Harbringer,” she added, after a small pause. This one, at least, introduced himself before giving his own name – now she could finally put a name to his face (or… ice face, to be more accurate). Tapping her claws on the ground, she lazily asked him, “Though, I’m curious. You’ve kept your group extremely isolated lately – why bother coming to this at all?” Ninazu planned for ulterior motives in her political games.

Though he acted more like a dumb sap trying to make friends, with the cold sugar and (perceived) artificial sweetener in his voice.
