ISN'T IT LOVELY? ALL ALONE. HEART MADE OF GLASS, MY MIND OF STONE.
The two Himura had joined quite some time ago, almost two months, in fact. However, she fell into a depression, and that lead to her getting sick. They had only showed up when needed, and even then, sometimes not. By God, she felt miserable! Actually, when they had moved to the desert, it helped them a bit. The dry aoir allowed them to stop sniveling and sneezing all the time.
And, it helped them to feel better. Which was shown when the child slams open the door of their Egyptian-styled home. The red-pwelted feline shook her fur out, as a sort of bathing in the sun. Fixing her crown, so it stayed atop of her head, she hopped down the ivory, stony stairs. It was her first time out in a while, she was gonna make it count. Of course, time outside would not matter without dearest father, would it? With pink and gold eyes gleaming, the royal princess turns to face her home. She has a wide toothy grin, and raises a paw to her maw, chuckling. The red feline calls out, "Otousan? Come on! We should explore!" // feel free to reply before [member=2495]AKUMA HIMURA B.[/member] does! [color=#000]TAGS & INFORMATION \ TALKS IN #8C1717
Re: YOU'RE LIKE ME // double return to activity - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 01-01-2019 I deem this post is after she shifts back to her hybrid form, cause of the earlier conversation. XD The last two months had been such a big change for the she-cat that her father himself could come back from the grave she put him in, join the group, speak to her and she wouldn't have noticed it. Being the second in command was far from easy on the calico and no one was left who could understand why in the world she secretly felt so scared of her own position. Last time she had something of power among a group of people? She killed the cat she thought was her father. The last time she was anything more than guardian she was worse than a mercenary, just a tool for him to use in order to eliminate anyone he wanted to, besides Akuma, of course. Being in charge to any capacity again when she couldn't even catch up with the rest of the world, couldn't heal, was stressful inspite of the cold poker face she couldn't remove from her face and the darkness she felt. Little did she realize, she had missed something she should have noticed due to it. Luckily at the moment, thanks to Rosemary, even if it didn't seem like it, Jiyu had reclaimed some small shard of herself, enough to get a foot off the ground. Ironically, she hadn't touched the ground since that day in the tunnel when she took flight again for the first time in years after losing her wings several years back when she vanished from the face of the planent again. Mismatched optics blinked as she looked at the reddish feline bounding out, hovering a few feet away. It didn't hurt to watch for a few seconds to see what was going on. After all? Maybe she would follow them if they explored farther out to keep them safe. Now that she had wings again and had grown to three and a half feet tall at her shoulder in her feline/dragon hybrid form, she could protect others better again. Of course, it also meant she looked different than she once had. Sure, the fangs were still saber, but her coloration had receded somewhat and she now had scales along certain parts of her body like along her cheeks almost like freckles. IT'S GOOD TO MEET YOU, MY CRIME AND PUNISHMENT !
"Otousan?" A small voice rouses the wildcat hybrid from his relatively light slumber, brilliant electric yellow eyes blinking open slowly as his sleepy brain processes who the voice belonged to. Ah, Riku. She was already up and about, was she? Then, it must be that she was feeling better than before. Shortly after they had joined the Rosebloods roughly two months back, the poor girl had fallen ill and Akuma had to take care of her. He was relieved she seemed to have made a full recovery whilst he, himself, had something of an mild fever still. He would be fine - an stuffy little fever could never do any sort of harm to the likes of him. However, it didn't mean he couldn't hate every single second of it with every cell of his being.
Her voice reminds him to rise up from his warm bed, "Come on! Let's go explore!" Long legs supporting his slim frame, the serval and caracal hybrid moves forth through their home to find Riku standing by the door already. Energetic, was she? It has been a while since he's seen her so lively when previously she'd been nothing but a little sniveling mess. "Of course," Comes Akuma's voice, thinly lined with the amusement that twinkled faintly in his eyes. "Adventure awaits, dear." By this time, he's stepping outside and the rays of sunlight pierce through his head. Ah, he's forgotten how bright it could get out here. He supposes it's his fault for not being around as of late and essentially becoming something like that of a hermit. The sunlight was powerful... Rolling slim shoulders back as he casts he gazes across the general area, he soon turns his attention to Riku with the faintest of smiles curving upon his features. However, the first one to appear was not her father. Pink luminaries, the color of cotton candy or of certain waters when the sun sets, glances at the odd creature that appeared at her call. While she herself was a hybrid, she had not seen one like this before. A calico cat. That was easy enough to comprehend. But, she was huge, had wings, scales, and saber teeth. Her scales seemed to be on her face, mimicking freckles. And her eyes... were different. Of course, Riku had golden flecks in hers, but they weren't all different colors. The kitten waits, looking in awe at the hybrid. This is before she regains her composure, and meows, "Um, hello. Who are you?" Her voice isn't as boisterous, as happy as before. No, instead, it is filled with wonderment-- yes, but still a cautious air.
Her attention is steered away by the caraval, her dearest father. Ah, she had forgotten he was asleep, instead thinking he had also been up, just resting in the house. The wildcat's ears perk, and turn, noting the long-legged black cat walking out of the house. His eyes had twinkled with amusement, and she smiles at him. Well, they were hermits, but Riku would make sure that wouldn't be the case anymore. "Awesome. So, where do you wanna go?" She asks, turning her head to him. Re: YOU'RE LIKE ME // double return to activity - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 01-01-2019 Long forearms hanging down against her chest and hind legs dangling straight down she simply kept watching in the same hovering state. Why do anything else at all? There was nothing in this world left to move or change her, expect for whatever Rosemary had managed to do which resulted in the regaining of her dragoness form before this weird merging of her new dragon form and her feline one took place. Weirdly, she was able to transform into a full dragon with ease but she could not seem to go back to being fully feline, not that she had ever been a normal feline anyways considering the fact she was born with both her front top fangs rather pronouncedly sabered. Jiyu didn't really think about any of that to be entirely honest, mostly the calico let her mind blank because thinking hurt more than just letting isolation and silence take her. How time left her all alone was more than she could bare to remember sometimes but those memories were still all she had. Mismatched optics blinked as the younger feline stared right back at her, uncertain on how a mere child was going to react to her new form. Sometimes? Mutations could scare children, though she doubted her current form was particularly frightening she'd looked worse before, actually this was an improvement in her mind. The child seemed to be alright with her, though she would prefer if the kid just entirely ignored her, she was no good for young animals, absolutely one of the worst influences possible. Yet, she still had that dreaded soft spot for children when the joyful voice spoke out she could not just pretended to be mute or to have not heard it. "I'm the Vizier, Jiyu Simul Stamus." rank only uttered because to be frank if she didn't remind herself she would never act with the power she had been given. If she stopped reminding herself of who she was now? The calico knew she'd stop trying to figure out how to do this darn job, at the best revert to simply treating the entire group like- No she wasn't going to remember that nothing good remained of those days. The world loved to prove her wrong. In body the animal was larger but when a pair had endured what they had the size of someone's form would never be enough to stop recognition. Even if she understood the language diverse words spoken, anything involving the child currently faded away as her slit pupils focused solely on the male ambling his way out. Without sound her wings flapped in full to make her streamline form shoot forward whizzing past the kid. Jiyu extended her long forearms in an attempt to grab the male. If she managed to get him in her arms? The tall calico would return to being several feet in the air, holding him in her arms. "Before you flip out just imagine me a few feet shorter, fluffier, no dragon parts, with more coloration." if her dead and monotone voice was not enough to give her away. Maybe he'd heard her introduce herself to the kid, maybe not, but either way she did look rather different from the last time he'd seen her. Either way if she had him embraced she would slowly slower the male down setting him back on the ground until she was just barely holding awkwardly onto one of his paws with her own. IT'S GOOD TO MEET YOU, MY CRIME AND PUNISHMENT !
Considering Akuma had been far too lethargic to even notice Jiyu as soon as he had came outside, it wasn't entirely out of the realm of possibility to consider that Akuma was simply terrible at checking his surroundings. He had been a lad late in approaching Riku anyhow as he was still shrugging off the sleepiness that heavily clouded his mind like an poisonous miasma. Not to mention... his attention had been fully on Riku so it was undoubtedly an surprise for the hybrid when he was suddenly scooped up into the air by God-knows what. When inquired about the possibilities of where they could go exploring for the day, he takes a moment to think. His head tips slightly to the side, his gaze flickering upwards towards the heavens for a second. "Well... I was thinking of—" Before he could get what he wanted to say out, all of his breath was taken out of him as an blurry form suddenly comes into his peripherals and snatched him up— quite literally.
Of course, any sane person would probably squirm and flail about wildly in the arms of the person who had unexpectedly grabbed them but considering that he was now several feet up in the air, Akuma didn't necessarily feel like falling to his death. So he stares wide-eyed at the feline-dragon hybrid with a mixed ( and admittedly rather comical ) expression of surprise and horror, his mouth an inch agape as she speaks to him in an... very familiar voice. He has to blink once and then twice, three times to charm and Akuma's mind goes absolutely blank for a moment before everything comes back at once. By this time, this "stranger" was lowering him back onto the ground with her paw laid across his own. The entire time he never let his eyes drift from Jiyu, not for a single second, until he dumbly remembers he had to speak. "Jiyu?" Akuma says, fictive brows furrowing against his forehead. This was... It had to be, right? He hadn't seen her in so long it felt like... decades since he gazed upon his sister and yet he doesn't quite know how to feel. He was startled, that was for sure, as told by how his fur stood on end and the slight look of dumbfoundedness that was so rarely placed onto the Chain's face. But of course, with all of the emotions that were plenty clear on Akuma's face, recognition did twinkle brilliantly in his golden gaze. She looks so different... She looked almost reptilian-like. It was ironic, considering his past reincarnation was something similar. "You look... so different..." It was all he could muster, really. What else was he supposed to say or do? He was in too much shock to do much of anything and his dumb fever was preventing him from strategically processing his next move. He only hopes this wasn't some cruel dream or something similar. ISN'T IT LOVELY? ALL ALONE. HEART MADE OF GLASS, MY MIND OF STONE.
Jiyu, huh? That was an odd name. Well, an odd name fit an odd creature. Instead, her gaze focuses on her father. She smiles, waiting for his answer. But the tall dragon-cat hybrid had swooped in, a moment's notice if that, and swept her father up into the air. No, what was she doing?! Was she gonna hurt him? Nobody should have any right to touch that king except her! ...The exceptions were, of course, him allowing this. However, he did not allow this.
The car-servical began snarling, looking at the odd hybrid who had taken her ebony-pelted father for a flight. Her magenta and golden colored eyes narrowed in anger, at first. Her voice was protective, but a bit angry as well. "Hey! Baka! Put my father down this instant!" That being said, she dropped the crown onto one of her paws, and attempted to lob it at Jiyu. She stamped the ground with her paws, trying to figure out a way to tackle her if she could not hit her with the crown. Riku decided to climb up the wall of their abode, to get up onto the house and tackle whatever evil demon this was, attacking a good-hearted man like that! However, upon seeing the dragon land and Akuma recognize her, the wildcat gets off of the wall and pads towards them. What happened? Who was this? Her mother? How did Akuma know her? Fictional brows furrow as she sits down, coughing awkwardly. "Uh... sorry about that confusion. Um, wh-who is this, Otousan? How are you guys related?" Re: YOU'RE LIKE ME // double return to activity - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 01-02-2019 He let everything in his surroundings fade out for whatever he wished to focus on or not focus on lazily seemed to not care about his surroundings, while she coped by hyper focusing on everything while trying to seem entirely apathetic. Both had their costs. For once though, she was not paying attention to the tiny specs of sand moving around them, one of the few animals capable of truly obtaining her attention and honesty in front of her. However this did not mean that the calico was entirely daft to her surroundings in the same way her brother allowed himself to entirely zone out with things like sleep. Actually, in spite of the amount of naps she took the calico rarely if ever truly slept or let herself zone out unable to trust that the animal next to her wasn't just going to take their paw and slap it across her face or rake their claws down her flank. Plus if she let herself lose control, let herself go in any capacity she could so easily see herself becoming the one lashing out someone else for absolutely no reason besides for blood lust. Due to her hyper aware condition it was far from surprising that the sight of the crown being tossed at her was quickly caught onto. Holding Akuma? The ways she could respond became extremely limited, in the end she chose to lift her tail and slam it downwards to change the direction of the crown Riku had tossed causing it to plummet sharply to the ground with a clank. "I'm no idiot child and you'd do well not to call me one." considering her own knowledge of three different languages the calico didn't even truly notice that the child was speaking in Japanese for that insult. "Calling me an idiot is good as calling your father one." they had been through so much together that she rarely drew a line between them. While each of them dealt with the trauma differently? Only the tom looking at her knew what the two of them had suffered and hadn't been part of making it worse for her or someone she had made it worse for. They had been in the exact same situation for a long time, thus they couldn't blame each other for what had happened, just be there. "Yeah, recently I gained a new draconic form, but I haven't been able to go full cat since." It wasn't that shocking but she did certainly look different from what she used to. Plus, the constant flight was more dynamic than the way she used to just sit there while everyone else milled around doing their thing. "Though we look a bit more like yin and yang now." it was true, he had tons of ebony on him but she was almost all white now. Having spoken to her brother she turned her attention to the bright colored girl who was much shorter than the two of them. "Akuma and myself are siblings, we grew up together." thought they wouldn't be telling that child anything about how they grew up. Heck, they didn't tell anyone that Jiyu was aware of. "Akuma, it looks like our children take after each other. All your nieces and nephews also have uniquely colored pelts or actual mutations. Her cousins will like her if they come back, all 14 of them, though they are all older than you since the youngest is over three years old and born far from here, its been years since I've seen your cousins." the calico was willing to speak to the kid, so long as her own body remained in flight over her brother so the kid couldn't get too close. |
