If I Had To;; Visitor. - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 12-31-2018 It's possible her group may not be easily told by scent because she only recently got this body, hasn't spent much time in RB territory with it and flew through a rainstorm recently. I'll leave it up to you guys, but I didn't want to devote a paragraph to that since that thread is still on going. She had numerous skills could do some level of crafting, with a life long as hers it was impossible to not have some knowledge in those departments. However, she preferred to live distant from the pleasures others indulged in only partaking in hobby's she could figure out or preform without anyone else. Now that she was a dragoness again? That was a serious problem, well not so much a problem in itself but rather it resulted in her current issue that she was currently flying through the sky heading towards the hopeful solution of. When she had just been a calico savannah? The vizier had been able to makeshift some way of transporting things if she needed to, wrap them up in a blanket and carry it in her mouth or such. Even if it was cumbersome she was agile and had no trouble doing such over the distance that body could travel. Yet, she remembered clearly that last time she had a dragoness body she had been able to travel much further than she used to, cover much more distance. The way she used to transport things? No longer was going to cut it if she chose to go on a long trip or rather if she was forced onto one because her dragoness body inherited the roughest part of her feline one, cannibalism. This was not the time to think about if her diet could change or not, she needed to be ready to efficiently travel long distances possibly with a passenger before it became an issue anyways. In the life she had lived? Jiyu had often noticed that trade and craftsanimals often went hand in hand, so if she went to the hub of trade out of the five groups, she would likely find something. Large wings cast a shadow on the ground as she swooped lower so she could get a good look at the terrain beneath her. When someone was flying? It was much harder to find the border of another group, especially when they had not flown in years. 'A full circle should let me know if this is the place.' the dragoness ascended again, about two hundred feet up circling the territory of Sun Haven, looking for landmarks similar to things she had heard about the group, hints to let her know that she had indeed flown to the right place. Flying low enough to be bothered only to find out she was in the wrong place? Well making mistakes that others could hold her to, wasn't her style, Jiyu didn't make mistakes only animals who got to live their lives did that, she didn't. How could she keep safe where her loyalty lay if she made stupid mistakes? After roughly fifteen minutes of circling the dragoness decided that she was in the right location and began a slow circle to lower her altitude as her skill in flight had deteriorated over the years. Having wings back? Was delightful, but it was going to take months to get used to flying again, she had actually missed this. Due to how much she had missed flight, the white dragoness hovered twenty feet above the ground near the border instead of landing, flapping just enough to remain airborne. Luckily, her flapping was fairly silent and didn't do anything like make massive air bursts. Talking shouldn't be required, someone would ask her what she was doing here soon, no need to announce herself. Re: If I Had To;; Visitor. - teef - 01-15-2019 [align=center] --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [color=#137E7A]FINNLOCH " i wanna take the long way home " --------------------------------------------------------------------------- a small she cat would be out in the territory, gathering up some herbal supplies and large leaves into a small basket at her hip. she would look up at the sound of wings, fearing another attack that sunhaven could not defend against, instead finding a dragon. a dragon. ears laid back she fought down the excitement and fear running through her core in a hot flash, the manx woman breathing hard. oh what a story! fin would love to hear of this, if her adopted one was around the territory anymore. limping towards the hovering beast, she spoke up, "ah, ah, hello! this is sunhaven's territory! what could I do for you?" was she nervous? well, duh! the woman had come from scottish background and everything in her bones told her to be wary of the dragon yet to invite it to share her group's territory for a short while. Re: If I Had To;; Visitor. - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 01-15-2019 Herbs were something she consumed a good deal of energy trying to avoid in spite of how often she got herself hurt. Smelling those cursed little plants? Would put someone not deceived by their own poker face in a bad mood, but Jiyu totally bought into her own stoic expression of emptiness. Of course, buying into her dead look didn't stop the momentary flash of a small white body laid foaming at the mouth from running behind her eyes. Anyways the brief scent of fear and excitement was far enough to snap her vision back to the present day instead of over a decade in the past. Looking at the other female she waited a second flapping her wings again before giving any response. "I need someone capable of making a set of saddle bags that won't hinder my flight, I figured this was the best place to come seeking out someone who could do the sort of work I need." she was more than willing to pay for the work, but first she had to find someone capable of doing good enough work as loosing her flight in an accident wasn't going to happen. there was a lot of things that she had seen, and a lot of it didn't quite phase her anymore.
"I've done my share of leather working, ma'am. I used to have a forge here, till it got burned to the ground by somebody. I can make some saddle bags, I've made panniers for myself so it'll be easy." the woman murmured, her head down slightly, trying to deny her exhaustion. "unless theres a proper leather worker or merchant here, I'm your best bet. as long as you bring me the leathers you want used, I can give you a proper commission price and all that jazz." she drawled, lifting her head before a flash of recognition darted through her gaze. she knew jiyu, had never seen this body, but she knew that voice. space
Re: If I Had To;; Visitor. - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 01-25-2019 Jiyu would normally think over everyone and each single thing around her, but with having her precious wings back enabling her to travel the sky again, she really didn't care. Most of the time? She convinced herself she didn't care about the others around her, but this time literally all she cared about right now was making sure she would be good to travel soon. "I can secure the materials required for the leather easily enough, though I've never made leather itself before only treated skinned pelts to make dolls with. Any particular kind you prefer working with." it would be good to secure something that the leatherworker had experience dealing with, animals always worked better with the familiar. If someone asked her for a doll? She would need to use a domestic or hybrid cats pelt, as that was what she was adjusted to working with. Not that she told anyone what the dolls were made from, it was a disturbing concept when she was a feline herself, she didn't need her group finding out about her diet. Especially if she was now going to need to hunt other dragons which was a lot more dangerous than hunting felines. "And perhaps in terms of commission price. If you were considering rebuilding your forge I can probably do some to help you there, being a dragon and all I can fly for materials that may otherwise be hard for you to secure." Sunhaven was admirable in some aspects, with their focus on commerce the hobbies of the members could very easily be their life. Currently in her opinion? They were the group with the greatest chance at long term peace, but also the most vulnerable to attack. Eh, she didn't care, the dragoness just wanted to fly over that mountain range in the distance and explore. a shake of her head, "as long as it isn't wiggling when I get it, anything works. I'd suggest a stronger leather, not something weak like a canine skin, but perhaps a deer skin or bigger tougher skinned prey if you can find it." she answered with a tip of her head. nope. not going to ask about the dolls, she had enough creepy shit on her paws. including that being her forge being burned down.
she shivered at the memory of the explosion of wood and metals, gaining many scorch marks on her pelt among other such wounds related to the fire. her shoulders trembled slightly at the rage of the memory, at the rage she felt when she discovered it was set up to happen. "perhaps. the last time was an account of arson and I must still hunt down the bastard that did it." there was a hint of righteous fury in her voice mixed with pain, as if the forge had been her companion through thick and thin, as if it had been a family member. truth be told, it was the worst loss she had known since she had lost her gang when they all died and she reincarnated into a tiger. the forge had been their gift for her, Ames and Vincent's birthday gift after she had defeated one of the larger demons and spent months healing. so to her, it would never be the same as it once was, it had been a debilitating blow to her entire soul and purpose as a demon hunter, a cultivator. space
