may the stars light your way // ascendants invite - VALE - 12-28-2018

[table][tr][td]
Strolling into the floating beachtown, the jaguar flicked her tail and looked around at the hubbub. Merchants dashing this way and that caught her eye, especially as she drifted closer to the boardwalk of their weird little home-floaties. She knew Clarence, her brother, would know their damn names -- but she decided they were home-floaties to her.

Clearing her throat, she looked around and called out, "Uh, hey? I'm Vale from the Ascendants, here to invite you lot to a blind dating event. It can be romantic or platonic, so should be fun for everyone." If she had to say the words 'family friendly,' she'd cut out her own tongue.

‘home-floaties’ was a much more amusing name for the floating village on the sea’s shores - venus agreed. to be honest the teen hadn’t quite given the odd structures the time of day when it came to thinking about what the sunhaven member liked to call them by; it didn’t seem of import quite frankly. what was of import was the figure on said structure coming gradually into venus’ field of view.

typically it was rather irratating to welcome “visitors” from the ascentdants - though venus had come to sunhaven after most of the drama between both groups, still the vulpine has been privy to some less than friendly confrontations. something that the solbinder wanted to stay far away from. then again was there even a choice in the matter? no matter how much venus didn’t want to greet the other girl with a beeming smile and a shining gaze, it wasn’t a choice when the visitor was now an ally.

well.. it wasn’t another aggressive action full of spite, but it wasn’t something venus thought of too fondly either. ‘blind dating’ - the notion left a horrid taste in the sunhaven member’s mouth - they just had to take part. not quite sure if i can speak on behalf of sunhaven and say we’ll be there, so you’d best wait for the big guy’s final say but... i’ll speak for myself and say i’ll be there.

SUNHAVEN — WARDEN — FEMALE — BORDER COLLIE — PLAYED BY KICKSIE !

[div style="text-align: justify; width: 50%; font-family: georgia; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: -1px; margin-top: -15px;"]Blind dating was something that Bex had never participated in. No, she was always that one friend that would trick her other friends into blind dates. Always playing matchmaker. It was rather fun, even if it didn't work out. In those cases, she'd at least get a laugh out of it. But she had never been on a blind date of any sort herself. She supposed she could give it a go... maybe she'd be able to gain a friend from this. That was always a good thing - to make new friends. And the fact that the Ascendants wanted to invite them to an event where they could make friends was something she took as a good sign. They certainly had come a long way already since they had ended their feud.

"Yeah, we'll be there," the Warden confirmed as she approached after Venus. "Thanks for inviting us. Sounds like it'll be a lot of fun!" She exclaimed toward the jaguar with a smile. She was planning on attending, knowing it could help strengthen their relationship with the Ascendants even more. Absolutely no more conflict between them sounded like a good idea, and Bex hoped it would stay that way. They didn't need to repeat history. They needed to move forward.
