Like a zombie; Golden - Masie - 12-23-2018

The meeting had passed some time ago, everyone dispersing easily just like every other meeting in the past. Masie had initially joined the mass normalcy of going back to every day tasks, but it didn't take long for the lithe raptor to finish downing a fish and return to the dome. Right out of the gate? She had suspected that Golden may not be as capable as she made herself appear to be in terms of being able to return on her own to the submarine. Rest didn't magically fix injuries, the pale discoloration on the side of her own muzzle proved this. Claws tapped against the floor of the dome as the three foot tall raptor walked carefully back in, finding the alpha in much the same position as when she had left to go eat in the nearby stream. Masie couldn't say she was surprised, but the raptor did wish that Golden would have been gone by the time she got back, it was never comfortable to have a weakened alpha especially when her Father and Sisters were absent right now.

"Golden." her chitter was short as she spoke softly in her own tongue a distinctive chittering sound that was only uttered when she approached the Bengal. Amber optics blinked slowly as she realized the alpha still wasn't going home on her own power, it was somewhat sad. However, could pride be put aside if the alpha was to accept help from someone who couldn't tell anyone what she'd done? Right now, Masie was the only one around who spoke the tongue of raptors since the ven spoke a different one, she was effectively blocked from telling anyone Golden had needed her help in the first place. If the stubborn alpha would accept help from anyone? Maybe she'd take it from someone who couldn't tell anyone she needed it in the first place, someone capable of taking her home without anyone realizing. Masie blinked, waiting to see how Golden would react to her presence.

To some raptors the noise made by animals like Golden was nonsense, she had learned this by watching how her sisters interacted with the world around them. Even if she loved her family? Masie was beginning to realize something was wrong when she was compared to them, somehow she was different. Yet, her familial pack had seemingly left her alone when these things brought up questions in her mind which she was not yet capable of asking. Briefly the raptor let herself wonder if the alpha of the typhoon realized that every word she spoke was pretty much completely understood by the lithe therapod.

A soft sort of chatter noise instead of a chitter was emitted as she took another step towards the Alpha who was clearly strained. How was she suppose to cross this barrier. "A pack survives together." Masie spoke moving carefully towards the Bengal once more, blinking large amber eyes as she sat in front of the struggling female. "I can help you back, without letting the others see." Yet, no matter what she said, the raptor had no way of knowing how this would turn out. Currently, the conversation was one sided, with her own side being nothing but noise to everyone else.
