I WISH YOU COULD SEE THE WICKED TRUTH
CAUGHT UP IN A RUSH, IT'S KILLING YOU
The lioness heard -- either from Stryker, Rhiannon, or through the group's grapevine of a gossip machine -- about the little mission that their aspiring erudite went on. Naturally, she wanted to get the woman's report and perspective on the mission; though she also supposed this made a swell opportunity to check up on the the learning process. It hadn't been too long since she gave the blind feline those rare medical textbooks, but she hated surprises. Going too long without an update tended to cause unpleasant ones.

With a flick of her fire-tipped tail, the ardent walked into Rhiannon's quarters. But she wasn't empty-pawed; she carefully dropped a small potted aloe vera on the ground as she waited for Rhiannon to appear. Perhaps that counted as a holiday present, but Ninazu considered that just another tool to help the snow leopard on her healing endeavor.

But, she was finally back in the Pitt, after several other long days of hiking back, and at least more happy to report that she was back to her normal self. Curled up contently on her small little cot with one of the books Nina had given her, she was at least enjoying her life as a free woman in this winter-state of the Pitt. It was still too warm to truly bundle up in blankets and hope for snow in a place like this, but she had made do with a small blanket and a warm-ish cup of cocoa. She hadn't ever had cocoa before until she had gotten more involved with some of the Pitt's events, and now she may or may not have been a little addicted.

Though, her small bit of tea time was interrupted as the door opened, her muscles inadvertently tensing before she relaxed at the familiar scent of Nina. She hadn't knocked, but no one ever had when Rhiannon was a slave- and as Ardent, Nina would get a free pass considering everything she had done. The small clink of something against the floor made her ears perk up, a sweet smile crossing her face as she gently tucked her bookmark back into place and set the book aside. "Ardent Nina," She greeted softly, "To what do I owe the pleasure?
