just another day / weekly tasks 12/22 - 12/29 - clarence a. - 12-22-2018 Clarence hadn't been so sure he was the most qualified individual for this task when Atticus asked him to do it. He didn't know much about traditions here and there was more about this world that confused him than what he understood. Still, he did want to be helpful in some way. So, here he was. He shifted, as though uncomfortable with the attention that he was about to draw to himself. He took a deep breath and told himself it'd only be for a moment. Then it'd be over. He just had to tell people what to do. Just like when he'd been a Surgeon. He just had to tell them one task for one week. Nothing too difficult. He was used to regulating crews, after all. This would be just like that. If he made a few mistakes, he was sure someone would point them out. "If anyone would like a weekly task, come on over here," the man called, already trying to form a few possible duties in his mind. Admittedly, since Vale came to the Ascendents, the chaotic woman spent most of her time sitting on her ass or simply hunting for herself. Settling in with the rest of the members seemed odd, considering they were fucking talking animals. But she was starting to die of boredom (not to mention, Clarence could be a tad boring with how he continuously failed to understand her humor). She needed to be social, but how did one be social with a fucking group of weird animals? "Hit me with one of these things," she grumbled, lashing her tail as she came over to her brother. Goddamn, hopefully Clarence at least knew something about this. After all, he'd been here for a month -- he should've adapted well enough by now.
Re: just another day / weekly tasks 12/22 - 12/29 - ORPHEUS - 12-24-2018 [align=center][div style="max-width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9.5pt; line-height: 1.4;letter-spacing:.1px"]me, still working on last week's prompt, It seemed that The Ascendants was made out of people who didn't know what they were doing. Clarence was certainly the most qualified out of everyone here — Orpheus was far newer, and he hasn't seen Vale before — but that didn't necessarily mean that he was knowledgeable. But hey, nobody could do better. The sunset lion approaches with a small smile, Santa hat perched haphazardly between his ears. Christmas is close enough to taste, and even though he'd mostly been off on his own gathering presents, he figures that he'll still be able to do some chores. It'd be nice to take a break from wrapping anyway. Lion paws were not meant for that kind of thing. "Give me something good," he huffs, smile spreading to a grin. They decided that they needed to get out and be helpful. The chocoloate-colored feline made their way to Clarence. Oh! They remembered this fellow from their joiner. They waved a bit, as a sort of hello, and as well as a request to get a task.
Re: just another day / weekly tasks 12/22 - 12/29 - clarence a. - 12-25-2018 Clarence felt a bit better when he saw his first participants were Vale and Orpheus. He knew his sister quite well, obviously, and Orpheus well enough to figure out what sort of task would annoy him and what he might enjoy. He recognized Kris, although he didn't know the individual very well at all. Still, all of these were just general tasks anyway. First, he looked towards his sister and gave her a light smile before beginning, "[member=3123]VALE[/member], maybe host some sort of gathering or or game. I don't mind what it is, exactly, so long as everyone can participate." He then turned his gaze to Orpheus and he fell silent for a moment, as though contemplating what task might be good for the lion. "I know it isn't much fun, so I apologize for that, but would you mind getting a crew of helpers together and cleaning up camp, [member=3063]ORPHEUS[/member]. Feel free to find a way to make it a bit more entertaining, if you'd like. It just really needs to be done, with it being cold and all. Everyone stays in and everyone's more likely to get sick. It'd be best to avoid it," he explained. Then came Kris, the one he knew the least. He took a bit longer to think as he gazed at the creature before finally making up his mind. "[member=2823]kris.[/member], I'd like you to tell a story, but in a unique way. I know you're rather soft spoken but don't feel like you have to speak for this. Find your own way to go about it," he encouraged. There, his first set of weekly tasks done. Perfect. LISTEN UP; HEAR THE PATRIOTS SHOUT BLOOD LUST IN A HOLY WAR |
