Scars and bite marks cover the bi-furred male's body. Blood slowly dripping from each one of them, it stung and hurt like hell. Damn, that group Rosebloods and it's residents weren't the kind of people to be reckoned with unless someone really walk away from their territory with a whole ton of injuries. Even Bakugou wasn't as ruthless as that, well, was, despite his ill-tempered personality. An annoyed hiss escaped Shoto's mouth as he sat down on a tree stump, licking his wounds to clean them. He had no medical training, nor did he ever see himself ever getting any training, so he was one unlucky bastard. Heterochromia-eyes searched the clearing around him, for any herbs or plants to cover up his recent injuries. Nothing. Of course, there was absolutely nothing. Being an animal absolutely sucked and he wanted nothing more than to return to U.A. Yet, nobody truly got what they wanted in life. When he had finished taking a look around the forest, he relaxed all of his muscles and tightly closed his eyes, drifting off into a daydream.

It was warm. He was sitting alone in his bedroom, on his bed. Back in the world he'd came from. The sun was shining through the window, the distance sound of birdsong could be heard. All was tranquil. But there was something that caused a feeling of dread rise up in his stomach. His mother was standing up straight, staring right through him, her eyes completely glazed over and a hand pointed behind the bi-haired male. That was when he was met with a burning sensation on his entire back. He was on fire and he couldn't get his quirk to work properly. The flames quickly and hungrily devoured him until he was nothing but a pile of ash and dust on his bed. The only thing he could hear, was his mother sobbing quietly.

Than his eyes snapped open. He was still in the woods, sitting alone. Nothing was wrong. He was alive, but he didn't feel alive. He felt like he should've stayed dead and rested in peace, but it seems fate had different plans for Shoto Todoroki. And nobody could change their own fate.
