Although socially inexperienced, she (incorrectly) assumes herself to be mostly heterosexual, when in reality she is bisexual with strong female leanings. At the moment, she sees those attractions as platonic.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Jo is a pretty kind of girl, once you look past all of the dirt and anxiety. A life of hard work has left her with tougher paws than most (ones that are usually covered in mud) but she's still somewhat small for a lioness, with most of her strength being in her core and hindquarters. Somewhat thick, dense fur often covers up most of her structure, and the lightly muddied ebony and chocolate tones of her pelt certainly contribute to the same, but not to the extent that her strength is entirely hidden. Everything is fairly subtle, but the places that would make her blend into the rest of the world — her paws, her face, her stomach — instead make her stand out. Fading patches and stripes of white trail up her body. Overall, she's soft and naturally colored with an appearance roughened with life.

PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION Much like her appearance, Jo's personality is a mix of soft and rough. She can seem rather shy when first approached, borderline anxious about every interaction, but she warms up with time and can be very nice to talk to. Friendly and gentle with a motherly streak, overall ordinary-seeming but with a whole world hidden underneath the obvious. Jo can be somewhat defensive at times, particularly when someone is being aggressive with her, and her no-excuses-allowed determination can make her difficult to get along with when she's stressed.
