ALL FOR ONE;; O, Joining - Whisper - 04-23-2018 aaaa [align=center] DREAMS MADE TO BE USED - WASTED ![div style="width: 90%;overflow: auto;text-align: justify;font-size: 8pt;background-color: #212121;font-size: 8pt;text-align: right;"] IZUKU "DEKU" MIDORIA - SNOWBOUND - STORAGE The angora awoke peaceful. His own head quiet to the doubts that had once plauged him, the air still: carring no ill intent beyond his own. Sharp green eyes captured the landscape of ice. A fresh slate, even as ice raced up his limbs and settled deep into his bones it did little to chase away the kind of cold that lingered there- the cold that settled in when his name was ever uttered to him from red- red eyes of an beast he mistook for a friend. No- nono. Now wasn't the time to think such thoughts. Deku lifted himself up from the unforgiving earth. Snow dusting the pitch of his pelt and showing the dark green that hid under it. Always an oddball- wasn't he? Odd and strange and so so easy to pick apart from the rest. Easy prey for the likes of bullies at a young age. But he grew, his dreams broken by his hero- but he was still alive. He had a new dream. Something to match the broken thing that stirred inside him. Shouldering the cold like atlas and commanding him to lift his head. to smell. tell me, what's there. A group. A home. It wasn't wrong, the scent of the border wasn't far from here, and within the cold, his pelt was to the similarity of a flea on the skin. Not meant to blend in, easy to pick apart. but he was prepared this time. There would be no harsh words directed to him anymore. He wouldn't tolerate it. No- the broken shattered thing inside of him aimed everything dangerous outside itself. The walls being built. Strong. He was strong. He would not be bullied again. When he approached the clan; he kept his posture relaxed. Stiff shoulders fell away into a pose that leaked confidence that was not faked. It was easy to get lost in his own mind- yes. But it was just as easy to let everything go. Easy to allow it all fall into the background of his mind until he could pick it apart carefully. Afterall- that was what he was made to do. No quirk insight as a kid- but all the brain. Quick as a blade and a tongue just as silver. The later learned with careful dodging careful steady hands guiding him. He pulled to a stop near the border. Green pinprics set across the horizion within the border. Catching sight of barren trees and what looked like an actual settlement further in. Hmm. Izuku's paws are numb. His tail is too, he thinks -- he'd been out here far longer than he should be. His pelt is dusted with snow, and Izuku can't help but shudder at the chill. He'd never lived somewhere so cold -- Tokyo had always been warm. Snow had been a novelty, something rare and lasted for only the day. He'd stayed a few days in cold places, yes, but it wasn't like -- this. What 'this' was, Izuku wasn't quite sure. It could be a lot of things, really. He had no use for going through the list, now, though -- it'd just distract him, leave him wandering aimlessly. Izuku had gotten into enough trouble for that as it was, he didn't -- he didn't want to freeze to death, or get lost or something. (or attacked again. It wasn't impossible, here -- there was always a false sense of security about clans, when anybody could so easily infiltrate) He's been hovering around the border, for a while. Izuku isn't sure what he's waiting for -- he's not even sure if he was supposed to be out here alone, young as he was. But out here he was, a little forest-green figure amongst the snow. Like his counterpart, the Maine Coon stuck out like a sore thumb, all bright colors and thick fur. He'd never matched environment as he was now, and that certainly didn't change now. In his peripheral, Izuku catches a glimpse of -- something. It shouldn't be surprising, given his location, but Izuku can't help but startle anyways, his tail giving a little lash as it registers. He hadn't actually expected to run into anything, anyone, this time, he was hardly emotionally prepared for any sort of interaction right then, but -- well, he can't exactly walk away, can he? It wouldn't be hard to see just about anyone against the open tundra, but Izuku especially. It'd be just be -- rude, maybe. For a few moments, though, Izuku just can't bring himself to move. It feels wrong, in a way -- he can't explain what, but just something about the blurry little figure below. Something a little deeper than typical paranoia, but also something Izuku simply just -- waves away. It doesn't matter. He's not sure it ever does. So the Maine Coon bunches himself up and leaps from the ledge he'd been situated on, wading through snow to approach the figure. It appears to be a cat, definitely still black in color, but Izuku can still see the green highlights here. Confident and relaxed, and also wearing a tie, apparently. Izuku swallows past the lump in his throat as he braces himself to greet the stranger. He's uneasy. It feels wrong. "H-Hello," Izuku greets as he approaches, resisting the urge to shrink away. He did tend to be a little timid around strangers these days, but this was getting ... a little much for Izuku's tastes. Instead, the green-furred feline allows himself to seat himself, tail twitching restlessly as he curls it around his paws. It's a long few moments before he can bring himself to continue, and he blinks bright green eyes as he starts over his greeting, different this time. "Ah -- Welcome to Snowbound. What brings you here?" The Maine Coon questions, his head tilting. He's still not quite sure how he's supposed to greet strangers, having only seen a few border encounters, but he does his best to mimic the friendly professionalism(??) that he'd seen then. It doesn't work very well. Izuku would be a terrible professional. //SLAMS FIST AND WHEEZES ☀☀☀ |
