DEAD MAN WALKING / Jiyu - Character Graveyard. - 12-19-2018

Surprisingly, for this time of year, it was hot. The heat flooded throughout his whole body. Tch. Warmth wasn't the bi-colored male's thing. He absolutely dreaded it. Maybe it was his somewhat thick fur that caused him to dislike anything hot. Thankfully, he had wandered across a desert. There had to be an oasis somewhere nearby. There- he could finally cool off. Mind you, he didn't give a care in the world if he happened to be trespassing on another's territory. He didn't know anybody in this strange world, so to hell with them, was his personal opinion.

It hadn't taken Shoto that much time to find his way to the oasis. Silently and slowly, he approached the freezing water and calmly stepped into them, letting his body float. All of the muscles in his body relaxed and heterochromia-eyes squinted. He hoped that he would appear to be asleep, so nobody bothered him, but he was fully awake and on alert, watching for any other creatures.

She could feel the rippling against her spine, as if it was going to break or that her skin would suddenly tear completely open along it. How could one bump against a tree do this to her?! Of course, that line of thinking didn't last long as the reason for her current state was not important just what it had driven her to do. When she had first joined her group years ago, she had quickly found animals she could rely on to help her keep her secret when situations became desperate. Now, Sep was the only one who knew she was cannibalistic and the calico could not ask the unstable male to hunt in her place! Thus she had been forced by desperation to sneak out one of the few times Rosemary had actually truly left her alone for an extended period, frantically trying to find something she could consume before the healer would inevitably go looking for her. Sep had found out because he happened to be looking for her when she chose to take a bite of a threat she had killed, this hunt would be nothing like that and she doubted Rosemary would be as understanding as the white lion had been.

Normally the Adviser would travel far away via teleportation before she went on an actual hunt, the way she had to feed herself by killing animals just as intelligent as the ones she lives with was innately dangerous and risked retribution. Getting far away? Lessened the chance her group would suffer for what she had no choice in, and at the end of the day her group was her main concern which was the reason she ended up so desperate now, starving herself to care for them. Swiftly she moved across the ground her body moved by the last energy reserve she had, rueful of the thought of what could happen if she didn't get this physical form fed, her body liked mutating to survive and she had attacked her own before due to a mutation she had managed to get rid of before returning. It was sad, but whoever she came across first regardless of circumstance was going to become her meal. Normally? She kept standards, no one who couldn't actually fight her for their life properly, but if she found a cat with a broken leg that kept them from fighting her back, she'd take it.

She had not even made it out of the territory before the sound of an unaligned trespasser floated into her nose, oh it was so wrong and went against her hunting rules but she was desperate! Plus the longer she dragged this out the more chance Rosemary would find out. Without sound she moved carefully, stalking the scent into an oasis. Even if she disliked what she was about to do? Jiyu had no qualms about doing it, hunting the male as if he was just another deer or something. Actually, she'd known some feisty deer one being her niece, she had nothing against them, but that was beyond the point. He was in her sights now, optics closed, she had the advantage for now and the calico was unwilling to risk loosing it! Quickly teleportation was activated hoping she could close her fangs into some part of him before he had the chance to react, hind legs kicking out to help her saber fangs tear off whatever piece they may have gotten and also take her out of the range of a swipe back. Jiyu typically killed her prey before she started eating, but this time she couldn't afford to, this time she would eat anything she got off him, when she got it off him.
