THE STARS | INVITE - ORPHEUS - 12-18-2018 [align=center][div style="max-width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9.5pt; line-height: 1.4;letter-spacing:.1px"]His first official chore — yay. However sarcastic that sounds, he looks forward to the trip. It had only been a week or so since he first joined The Ascendants and he's already beginning to feel sort of restless, like he needs to throw himself into something new. Perhaps it's just that Christmas is too close and there's too much to do. There's this drive to make it perfect and happy and worth it. In a perfect universe, the tree is well-decorated and the drinks are warm, Ambroise isn't so Grinchy and Clarence understands. There's a lot of work to be done and it may take a while — perhaps more than he can put in this year, but he finds that he's willing to wait. At least he can say that he's a patient person. With some people, that became a bit of a necessity. Hopefully this group wouldn't further grate at his nerves. The territory's sort of starting to. Sand between his toes, gusts of wind pushing it into his face, burying itself in thick fur. He's going to need a bath once he gets back, but — it's winter. That's nice. Orpheus couldn't bring himself to ask for something like that here, when he's showing up with an invite, but... maybe he's tempted to. With a quiet exhale, the lion sets down the basket he had decided to bring with him, the miniature wrapped presents feeling out of place in a desert like this one. He supposes anyone would enjoy these things anyway. "Anyone around?" Orpheus calls, stretching up to look around again. "We're having a Christmas party at The Ascendants, you guys are invited." Hopefully they heard, he doesn't want to repeat himself. It'll be fine. [ party link! ariside appeared at the edge of the territory, the tigress keeping her eyes on the newcomer. she had been much more cautious what with the 'attacks' and captures they had suffered from the pitt. she was not too fond of anyone on the border, especially not another big cat.
giving a low growl, the war-marked tigress would exit, some scars more new than others. icy blue eyes held onto the lion, orpheus, and she cleared her throat, "I'll bring the message to our pharoah. what are the premises around it? do we bring gifts with us or?" she rumbled warily. // sorry it's short // space
Re: THE STARS | INVITE - sephiroth - 12-19-2018 SEPHIROTH MALE — ROSEBLOODS — PHARAOH — HOVER FOR TAGS
[div style="background-color: #292727; color: white; font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; overflow: auto; width: 500px; height: 340px; padding: 10px;"]Sephiroth did not announce his arrival to the scene, simply allowed the soft sounds of rustling foliage to betray him as he padded close. The Ascendants, good to see interaction on their end. He really needed to head over there soon, though perhaps this could provide a good chance too. There was the Pharaoh, his mind all business again. "We would be honored to attend." The lion would rumble smoothly, coming to stand near the scarred tigress of his group as he eyed up Orpheus with a flick of an ear. Sephiroth wasn't exactly the most social beast, especially when it came to more light hearted fare but he would gladly humor their allies. Adding onto what Ariside stated, the Rosebloods leader would reply. "It would especially be welcome to know if there is any protocol we must follow." People made him nervous in a tense sort of way, though he never let it show on his face. He doesn't even look intimidated as the other cat joins him, a bit larger than him and otherwise frightening. Or she was supposed to be, at least, but she only reminds him of his dad. He offers a soft, relaxed smile to both her and Sephiroth as he joins in, though the growing numbers against him remind him of why he didn't do these kinds of trips. Next time he'll drag a buddy around with him. Big cats were everywhere and it's both intimidating and nice — Sephiroth is the second larger male he's seen, though Ambroise is still scarier in his eyes. (Not to say that he was scared of the grump. Definitely not scared.) "I don't think we have anything special, just the usual. Don't start fights, enjoy yourselves." He shrugs, tipping his head. The smile never falters. "We have a tree you can help decorate once you get there. You both look like you could use a vacation." It's a warmhearted joke, the smile turning to a grin. Then his mind jumps to the basket he'd brought, and Orpheus gently pushes it forward before he forgets. "I've got presents, too. Nothing big, but... should be a bit of fun." |
