thoughts on this type of leadership? - tikki - 12-18-2018

I was thinking of a clan where the leadership style is where the leader is elected and serves until death or until they step down from being leader, and then a new leader is elected.

The leader would be able to promote and demote people, but once they are dead or step down, those who had been promoted in the past keep their positions unless the new leader says otherwise, or unless they are elected the new leader.

In order to keep the elections fair, and so as not to make it so it's a popularity vote for who is the more popular roleplayer, the person who had been the leader before would get PM's about what those who want to be elected as leader want to happen for the clan, such as the type of clan they are, the type of stuff they plan on doing for the clan as far as events, etc. and they get a number. In the election thread, it'll say something like "#1 wants to have a neutral standing for the clan, and have a party at least once a month" and people would vote who they want without knowing who it is, and then whoever wins will be announced as the actual person.

OOo I actually like this. It's a fair way to do this type of leadership!
