Clarification involving adoptions - Masie - 12-17-2018 So say I purchase a small or large creature to adopt out. If the player falls inactive how would that be handled here? As its expensive to buy *another* item to play when the character was already purchased but the prior player fell inactive. Would another have to be purchased or would the first still cover it? Interesting, I don't think I've ever had this question. Do you mind if I put this on hold so I can discuss it later? Re: Clarification involving adoptions - tikki - 12-18-2018 I know this is on hold, but could it be if there is proof that the character existed already and was being adopted out that the item wouldn't have to be transferred out? Say the thread where the character was being adopted out had links to posts where the character had been played previously and adopted out initially so that the item can be found Re: Clarification involving adoptions - Orion - 12-18-2018
Obviously, no one would need to purchase another item, as that's such a hassle for everyone involved. The only pain would be tracking it (like Tikki said). So yeah, you're good with one item! Re: Clarification involving adoptions - Masie - 12-18-2018 Maybe instead of the purchaser transferring the item to the adopter, perhaps the purchaser activates the item on their account and the adopter puts a note in tags saying the item is account for in X location, so if the adopter falls inactive and the character needs adopted back out, especially in the case of say a litter of large or hybrid animals, it's all on one 'central' account and thus easier to track? Ah very true! I might honestly have to fix the items because of some ‘use’ troubles, but that’ll work perfectly. <3 |
