A glimmer of hope - private guidance - Morgan - 12-16-2018
As always, Morgan was more than happy to help his fellow Tanglers with any problems that would arise during life in Tanglewood. Still, he never claimed to be prepared for everything -- and his impromptu guidance session with Usagi was a good example of the General's unpreparedness. All he knew was that she had some issue she was 'fighting for control with' at all times, but that was not a lot to go off of. Vigenere had described possession to him - something like what had happened to Delilah. He'd also heard of powers going haywire and doing strange things without their 'hosts' realizing it, like when he released an elemental blast upon being attacked by spirits.
With only those two leads to go off of, he set up some old plastic chairs on the sand just a few feet away from the sea. He hoped the calming atmosphere of Tanglewood's shores would help Usagi in some way, even if only because it provided some privacy. "Now," the samoyed whispered to himself, "to wait."

He was glad he did not have to wait long, as he was slowly growing a slight bit nervous at the prospect of having to deal with an issue he was not familiar with. "So what exactly is happening to you, anyway? You told me you were fighting for control of something, but... what is it? What's it like?" He was hoping to get something of a handle on the situation -- even if he could not help directly, just knowing more about things would be good for later.[member=2826]Usagi Smallpaw[/member] Re: A glimmer of hope - private guidance - Usagi Smallpaw - 12-29-2018 She takes a seat across from him with a small huff"H-honestly im not entirely sure...the beast called itself takao... i-its taken controll of everything a few times a-and caused me to harm people....its getting stronger and harder to maintain controll...ive been considering trying to find a sibiling who may be able to help me...." Re: A glimmer of hope - private guidance - Morgan - 12-29-2018 "Ta, kao. Takao." Morgan repeated the name as if he were attempting to grasp it in his paws, staring at the air in front of him. "And this thing's made you hurt others?" He sighed in worry, though a slight hint of relief washed over him. At the very least Usagi seemed to know what she was talking about, even if only with what little information she had supplied him with. "If you need to travel to find your sibling, then I won't try to stop you when you leave. Just know this: when you're alone out there, these battles with Takao might be even tougher than they already are."
The General wished he had something better to say, and as if by magic, he found some inspiration. "You can't forget who you are. You've got your own strength, and you can figure out how to deal with this threat." He pulled some water from the nearby sea, freezing it to encase the pair in a cage of ice. "See these walls around us?" Morgan closed his eyes, then began to breathe more steadily. "If you can at least tell when Takao is about to surface, the best thing to do might be to find somewhere safe to put yourself - somewhere like this. If you're able to do that, it'll be that much harder for Takao to hurt anyone else. Understand?" It was as good of an idea as any, and even taking small steps to contain the beast would hopefully prove to be useful to Usagi. "Oh, and where are you thinking of looking for this sibling, anyway?"
Re: A glimmer of hope - private guidance - Usagi Smallpaw - 12-29-2018 she nervously looks at the cage but nods periodically"i-I was thinking of maybe looking in rosebloods first" Re: A glimmer of hope - private guidance - Morgan - 01-04-2019
Something of a smile formed on Morgan's face as he noted Usagi's apparent understanding. He returned the cage to its liquid form, tossing it all back into the sea whence it came.
"I see," he whispered to himself as he heard the mention of the Rosebloods. "That's fine. Go whenever you're ready, but just let me know first. They're our allies right now, so as long as you can take care of yourself I doubt they'll have any issues with you being there." He lied back on his chair, looking up into the sky. "Really though, I wish I could do more for you. This is just something that you have to confront on your own, though. I can give some advice, but you'll be the one who deals with this... this inner beast."
