A WARNING TO THE PEOPLE // S/HP MEETING - buckingham barnes - 12-14-2018

God, Bucky's head felt like it was going to burst. First, Stryker nearly manipulated him, and then the Pitt stoops so low to steal Fairylights and Wendell. To Bucky, these captures feel like threats, clear signs that the Pitt isn't done yet with him and Sunhaven. Bucky knows a lot of his clanmates are not in favor of a war. But how else are they supposed to get Fairylights and Wendell back? The Pitt will not hand them over willingly, and Bucky's thinking of his own experience in a clan like them. It felt like brute force will be the only way, and a plan must be made.

In the morning, Bucky slipped a piece of parchment into his hearthkeepers, goldenbloods, and warden's houses. The note said as followed:
MANDATORY SEMI/HIGH POSITION MEETING AT MY HOUSE, NOON SHARP.
DON'T BE LATE.
- Bucky

Bucky sat in his living room, ears pinned back to his skull. Buckingham hated how empty his home felt without his niece. It's only been a few days, but those days must be dreadful and long for Fairylights and Wendell. He doesn't want either of them to stay there for any longer. He can only hope a well devised plan will be made to bring them safely home.

you'd have to be hard pressed to not noticed something up with the distinct absence of some of the more lively fellows in sunhaven, gone to a group dead-set on starting some kind of row with the sunny group. like an annoying pest, like an impetuous child screaming and kicking for attention from the bored and unenthusiastic adults. sunhaven doing barely anything to try and quell the pitt's actions. but perhaps venus would be proven wrong soon, perhaps the meeting in which the solbinder had been invited to was for this very situation to be sorted with and finally fight back against the parasitic group that pestered the group insistently.

the kitsune detested the fact that they appeared to be the first to arrive from the high position group, side-eyeing the helion with an apathetic expression, eager to just begin the meeting and get on with formal business so that venus could disassociate themselves and remain civil. just for today.  twin tails absentmindedly twirlled around each other as baby blue eyes glanced around for any sign of the few other high positions to arrive. "well?" hopefully something would be sorted in a relatively short amount of time, leaving more energy to go towards actually executing the plan and rescuing the captured sunhaven members.

Re: A WARNING TO THE PEOPLE // S/HP MEETING - AUGUST - 12-15-2018

[glow=#000,1,400]A MILLION DREAMS ARE KEEPING ME AWAKE — TAGS[/glow]
[ currently in foal body ]

Like Bucky, August's head had been swimming with confusion as of late. First the bear, then the murders, and now the capture of several of his clanmates — including Fairylights. He considered her a friend of his, and it felt so strange without her around. It was even more scary to think about what she might be going through at that very moment — curled up in a dark, stony dungeon? Being publicly humiliated? Being hurt? The foal did not like to think those thoughts; they made him sick to his stomach.

However, duty called, and he could not sit around in his room any longer. He had indeed arrived at Bucky's house at noon, a soft frown adorning his brown-tinged muzzle. He awkwardly took a seat and flicked an ear, wondering what would be said.

SUNHAVEN — WARDEN — PLAYED BY KICKSIE !

[div style="text-align: justify; width: 50%; font-family: georgia; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: -1px; margin-top: 0px; background-color: white; padding: 6px; color:black;"]Bex wasn't what you would call a 'morning person.' No, she was far from that, and tended to sleep in rather late every morning. She was just lucky enough to have woken up in time to see the note from Bucky before noon passed. Unfortunately there had been no time for coffee, but the Warden still managed to drag herself to the leader's house for the meeting. It seemed urgent, and she wouldn't dare be late because of coffee, no matter how much she felt like she needed it. Fairy's and Wendell's lives were now depending on them to devise some sort of plan to get them back. Bex felt frustrated by the whole situation, and she just hoped and prayed that they weren't going through any sort of torture or pain. Especially Fairylights... she was still so young. Way too young to have been taken from her home like that.

The collie entered Bucky's house, remembering the last time she had been in his home. Well - technically she hadn't been in this new house of his, but she could recall being inside the last one at some point before it had sunk with the flood. She was still rather new to Sunhaven at the time, and had barged into Bucky's home unannounced, which seemed to have annoyed and startled him. They had come so far since then. "Hey," the black-and-white canine greeted as she came into the room and seated herself down near August, wondering what sort of serious business Bucky had to discuss with them.

Ymir is next to lazily pad over, fatigue glazed over her eyes. Her eyes glide over all who was there, faltering slightly when they land on August, a figurative brow raised. "[glow=black,2,300]I know he's a high position and all that shit--but is it really necessary to have a damn kid here?[/glow]" she asks with her gaze moving to settle on Bucky. "[glow=black,2,300]No offense, but this is some pretty serious stuff.[/glow]" she didn't know what a mere kid could contribute, but if their Helion wanted him there, she would just deal with it. She didn't really care that much.

To Bucky's relief, his high positions quickly arrived. As each high position made their way into his home, he mentally counted off who still yet to arrive. Four out of the five high positions he sent invites to. Gordon should arrive soon, she won't miss much if he starts the meeting now. For some reason if she does miss any important information, she can be recapped by her fellow high positions. Right when Bucky began to open his mouth to begin, his thoughts were sidetracked momentarily as Ymir's comment reached his ears.

Ah yes, August was quite young to attend a meeting with a difficult situation like this. But, August is a Hearthkeeper, meaning he has to fulfill his duties. If August was any younger, the Helion wouldn't've asked him to step up. Once he became a spark, he's not only training to become a sunbearer, but he will learn that the world is not perfect. "I am not going to shelter August from this," The male meowed with a serious tone, "He's not a puppy anymore, I won't treat him like a ray."

He tore his gaze away from Ymir, eyes landing on the small number of clanmates who sat before him. "We need to come up with a plan to get Fairylights and Wendell home safely-- they've been away for far too long." He began with a sigh escaping his maw. Thoughts and ideas ran through his head as he closed his mouth momentarily, thinking of what to say next. "The best time to get them back home will be at the dead of night," He began to suggest his ideas, "Most of the Pitt should be asleep when we sneak in, and locate where they're keeping Fairylights and Wendell." Bucky wasn't going to directly mention it, but he should definitely not head in alone. He's sure they're all thinking back to how Stryker nearly manipulated him. The last thing Bucky wanted to happen was for his nightmare to become a reality.

Re: A WARNING TO THE PEOPLE // S/HP MEETING - GORDON CIPHER. - 12-15-2018

Trust Gordon to be late to this meeting. Which was strange, considering she was usually a morning person, but with the looming threat of The Pitt had her feeling unsafe even in camp. "Y-you don't think th-that maybe -" Just maybe, The she-cat added quickly to herself. She waddled up to sit next to Bex, frowning up at Buckingham. "- we could get th-them back another way?" After all, they got The Ascendants to stop targeting them. Er, well, stopped an all-out war from starting. "Th-there has to be." She pressed on, tail flicking in thought as she spoke. "Don't y-you think if we go to their camp, th-that they'll be able to track us to ours?" The Pitt wouldn't be past coming into their camp to steal Sunhaveners, Gordon had a feeling. What if they had somebody sneak out during the rescue mission?

"The Pitt will not hand Fairylights and Wendell over if we ask them, Gordon," The leader said with a small frown, as he glanced over at the goldenblood, as she made her way in. Bucky understood why she asked for a possible other way to bring them to safety. Even though sneaking through at night was the easiest to do, it's still full of it's own risks. "Trust me, I used to live in a clan like the Pitt- they will not let them go easily."

"I wouldn't let them track us back home. I have enhanced senses, I'll be able to pick up their scents or their noisy pawsteps before they even realize it. Anyways, the whole point of doing it at night is to rescue them without even grabbing the Pitt's attention. We can wash our Sunhaven scents before we arrive to their border, and disguise ourselves with theirs. If we somehow managed to grab their attention, they're going to wake up in the middle of the night. They'll be too tired to follow us home if we have to put up a fight to bring Fairy and Wendell back."

Re: A WARNING TO THE PEOPLE // S/HP MEETING - GORDON CIPHER. - 12-15-2018

"Th-there's so much that could go wrong though," Gordon responded, her gaze travelling down to look at her paws. She knew her words possibly sounded like she didn't want her clanmates back - and she did, she truly and honestly did - but there has to be of some way to do it peacefully. There was a good in everyone almost everyone and Gordon had faith that maybe, just maybe, they would be able to end it peacefully. "Wh-what if they use them as hostages?" That... probably wasn't the right word. "What if th-they threaten Fairylights or-or Wendell's lives if we attack them?"

A soft sigh escaped the maine coon's maw. "You're right, several things can go wrong. But, we all know that the moment we step onto their borders. We can't run or hide away just because something might go wrong," He explained, looking at her dead in the eyes. Fairylights and Wendell might be going through hell right now, and the last thing Bucky's going to do is sit and wait for them to come crawling back. He will fight, fight to get them back safely, even if that means he gets harmed in the process. At her question, he blinked with surprise for a moment. "Gordon. They're already being held as hostages."

"The point of the mission is to find Fairylights and Wendell without fighting the Pitt-- think of it as a stealth mission. We want to go in and leave unnoticed."
