Even if she didn't live in a place where everything looked the same, she would probably end up getting lost one way or another. Sometimes it was nice, though, like when she found pretty sights, or found useful things. But those weren't too common. Most of her aimless trips were met with no reward or prize. If only she could have gotten something for her troubles each time, but she supposed it was simply her luck.
Like today, the savannah caught in the middle of the blistering heat, head turning to and fro as she searched for camp. Damn. It seemed she was lost yet again. At least it wasn't as frightening as before. Now she just sighed, picking a random direction and heading off. She'd find her way back eventually--or die trying.
