SUFFOCATE ✰ ignis - arcy - 12-01-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 65%; font-family: timesnewroman; font-size: 10pt; text-align: justify;"]Jim wasn't entirely sure what to make of Ignis. Of course, Jim doesn't know what to make of anyone who was nice, so this wasn't a terrible fact. You could say he felt kind of bad for the guy -- Jim had amnesia for a few days once. Ah, the wonders of alien worlds. It'd been temporary, incomplete, but it was enough for Jim to relate. .. His strong feelings aren't helped by the fact Jim is aggressively trying to fill the void his crew left with Tanglewood. They could never replace Bones, or Spock, or .. any of his core crew members, really, but anything to make the infuriating ache less. Getting attached again is a mistake, but Jim isn't sure what else he can do. He'd rotted, everytime he'd left a void unfilled. So, caring a little too much about how Ignis is faring is probably part of the effects, here. ... ... Right. This isn't the point. The point is Ignis. Jim figures the guy could probably use a helping hand ... paw. Jim isn't sure how to act as a friend or mentor, to be entirely honest. His only friend had been Bones, and his crew was far too skilled needing help in that way. But damn if Jim wasn't going to try -- he'd never backed down from a challenge. "Ignis?" Jim calls. He can vaguely scent the other, over the smell of mud and .. other stuff. His paws are slicked in mud -- he's since left the swamp, but it was kind of unavoidable to end up there, sometimes. His ears turn on his head. "You there? What're you doing?" [glow=black,2,300]— ✰ —[/glow]
Re: SUFFOCATE ✰ ignis - Ignis ex Luna - 12-01-2018 [color=orange]Ignis had been laying in the trees trying to figure out WHO he was and trying to sort through all the memories he had feeling like there was a major part of him missing... up until a voice called out to him and startled him out of his thoughts as he began tumbling throw the trees, manging to catch onto a low branch with his tail before hitting the ground and left there handing upside down. [color=red]"oh-oh uh sorry i-i was uh... i was just thinking.. um wha-what can i help you with?" Re: SUFFOCATE ✰ ignis - arcy - 12-01-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 65%; font-family: timesnewroman; font-size: 10pt; text-align: justify;"]Jim starts at Ignis' sudden tumble. He stumbles, attempting to reach the other before they fall, but apparently forgets that he has four paws now, and tumbles gracelessly to the ground. He lies there for a moment, defeated, before slowly climbing back onto his paws to regard the other canine. "Sorry. You alright there?" Jim asks, pausing to shake his pelt off whatever had gotten caught in his fur in the tumble. .. Ignis looks like a damn bat. Jim nearly snorts. The wolfdog comes to stop below the other canine, head craned to keep his eyes on the other. "Well, I don't need anything. Have you had any luck in remember anything, yet?" The canine tilts his head. He wonders if pop culture has any accuracy on how real life amnesia works. He also wonders if Ignis' amnesia was like Jim's -- it had been like trying to remember childhood memories. Near impossible, but you could remember the most random ones from other stimuli. .. maybe Jim's brief amnesia episode wasn't a good comparison for Ignis'. That was from aliens, and who knows what caused Ignis'. [glow=black,2,300]— ✰ —[/glow]
Re: SUFFOCATE ✰ ignis - Ignis ex Luna - 12-02-2018 Seeing him fall ignis quickly scrambled out of the tree getting to the ground a few moments after Jim had shaken out his coat. "Uh no I. ... its like I keep hitting a wall and can't get behind it".He hangs his head low sheepishly starting to pace a but getting stuck in his own head again before he stops. [COLOR=red]"I-Im sorry if j startled you i-I didn't meant to o was stuck in my thoughts and... and you startled me and I kinda fell and ooooo why can't I just figure out my Damn body, I only caught myself out of instinct I guess" Re: SUFFOCATE ✰ ignis - arcy - 12-02-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 65%; font-family: timesnewroman; font-size: 10pt; text-align: justify;"]Jim's ears turn on his head as he regards Ignis. Like a wall. Inpenetrable, or does Ignis just need a reminder. He tips his head, considering. "It's no problem," He says in response to Ignis' apology, grin widening in a mock of his 'charming' grin. His ego can take the blow. It was a very heroic attempt, or so he'll tell anyone who asks. "I guess it'll take time to remember." Jim sighs. .. If Ignis remembers at all. But Jim isn't going to say so, because he's not about to be out here, crushing dreams. That was what Spock was for. And Bones, sometimes -- his bedside manner was terrible. But neither of them were here now, so! "Just because your memories are gone doesn't mean your muscle memory is," Jim decides to inform him. Jim tilts his head, and grins, almost thoughtfully. "Have you known anything you shouldn't? Have you tried picking up hobbies?" He asks. One step at a time. (jim had a habit of doing everything at once, but that doesn't mean he's going to force everyone else to, too.) [glow=black,2,300]— ✰ —[/glow]
Re: SUFFOCATE ✰ ignis - Ignis ex Luna - 12-03-2018 ignis egins shaking his head at Jims question"n-no I haven't really tried to thkugh..... I kinda feel more comfortable with the trees.. maybe that's what drew me here I don't know it just feels like there's a void and I'm missing a large chunk of myself..." Re: SUFFOCATE ✰ ignis - arcy - 12-03-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 65%; font-family: timesnewroman; font-size: 10pt; text-align: justify;"]Jim considers this. Trees, huh? He isn't too surprised -- Ignis had been pretty smooth in catchng himself in his fall. And, for that matter, the fact he was in a tree at all. Jim sure as fuck couldn't climb a tree, as a fellow canine. Ignis, though, had a tail meant for this kind of stuff, so it was definitely easier for him. "Well, we can try that later," Jim says, referring to the hobbies. That was important, he's sure. Stuff like .. knives and stuff. Except Ignis already knew how to use knives, so. "Memories are pretty important, so that's no surprise. What sort of stuff can you do in trees?" The canine tilts his head, still thoughtful. Could he just climb? Were there certain tricks he knew how to do? How'd he even know how to climb the damn tree? [glow=black,2,300]— ✰ —[/glow]
